Ce séjour à Dwarahat restera pour nous une expérience précieuse. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons ressenti cette étrange et belle sensation d’être chez nous, accueillis avec une chaleur, une générosité et une bienveillance qui nous ont profondément touchés.
Nous avons rencontré une âme merveilleuse, ainsi que sa famille, et découvert bien plus qu’un magnifique lieu : un véritable écrin de paix, de beauté et de simplicité. Grâce à Thushaar nous avons pu découvrir les trésors de cette région, particulièrement Babaji Cave et vivre des moments que nous garderons longtemps dans notre cœur.
Puis il y a sa musique, jouée avec une grâce incroyable… et cette belle résonance particulière de rencontrer un frère de chemin, Kriya Yogi lui aussi.
La cuisine de sa maman est à l’image de cette famille : généreuse, authentique et préparée avec amour, un véritable délice...
Nous repartons avec une immense gratitude, le cœur rempli de souvenirs, de belles rencontres et de vibrations qui continueront longtemps à nous accompagner.
Parmi tous les lieux que j’ai eu la chance de découvrir dans ma vie, celui-ci occupe désormais une place toute particulière.
Certains voyages nous emmènent quelque part… d’autres nous ramènent à nous-mêmes.
Nous n’avons déjà qu’une hâte : revenir.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026It was truly a soulful and homely experience here at the homestay. The local food prepared by Tushar's mother is so nutritious and tasty that I fall short of words. The hospitality of Tushar is exemplary that he made me feel to be a part of his family. I am returning filled with infinite love and blissful memories to arrive again and again.
The experience here goes beyond likes and dislikes.

Reviewed May 24, 2026Tushar was way more than a 'host', friendly, yet very professional, and also an amazing and passionate musician. We enjoyed hearing all of his tales of wisdom.
He literally took care of us in the best way since the booking with all logistics, being a consistent support throughout all the stay, making us feel like 'home'.
The food cooked and served by his beloved Mother is super delicious and nourishing.
The energy of the house itself is very positive, it can be felt as soon as the gate is crossed. The canopy of flowers, plants and the beautiful front yard make it a heavenly abode of peace.

Reviewed Apr 25, 2026So ein zuvorkommend netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber ist Gold wert. Das Haus ist sehr schön gepflegt und sehr sauber. Das Essen vorzüglich und mit Liebe gekocht.
Das Badezimmer ist nicht im Zimmer integriert sondern draussen (aber immerhin auf dem gleichen Stock). Aufgrund des Alter des Hauses konnte das Badzimmer nur bei einem Zimmer integriert werden. Bei den andren drei Zimmern ist es separat.

Reviewed Apr 18, 2026The old world charm, the location of this 120 years old warm homestay took us back in time ..and the fact that it's a stones throw aways distance from mrityunjay temple . Every morning you wake up to see history right in front of you taking you back in time . The host Tushar personally took us through the tour of his wonderful village and enthralled us with the history of each temple .. he co-ordinated our entire journey, transport and stays and made sure we were looked after .Best thing is everyone knows him in the area and things get done in a jiffy . His musical treat on the last night of our stay was the perfect cherry on the cake . We had the most remarkable stay

Reviewed Jun 27, 2025The host Tushar was very welcoming young boy, rooms were clean ( twin room connected) bathroom was also clean but outside room although dedicated to my room. I stayed with my daughters to travel Mahavtar Baba ji cave. Food was good. The host Tushar is very honest person ,actually I paid through UPI and accidentally I paid him 3800/- bill twice as first time UPI shows error. I did not know that my account debited twice. Tushar called me after four days and told me that he checked account and found that I have paid him twice. He returned 3800/- INR which I did not know that I have paid twice.

Reviewed Jun 6, 2025We liked the stay. If we get an opportunity to visit again I would love to stay again. Food prepared by Tushar's mother was very hygienic and testy. The clean and pious environment made a difference.
On our request Tushar sung few songs in the evening and played on Guiter, which made our stay memorable. His support during our visit to Mahavatar Babaji's cave was wonderful.

It was very easy to find this place... Room and bed was very clean and comfy.
Separate bathroom was super clean with fresh lemon smell..

From the moment we arrived, Tushar's warm hospitality and guidance on local sightseeing made our trip unforgettable. The food was amazing and truly homely, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. The hospitality was unparalleled, making us feel right at home. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended!

Reviewed Dec 3, 2024The location is supreme, it is behind the Mrityunjay Mandir and very close to the Badrinath group of temples, which makes the place divine. The rooms are cozy and have access to direct sunlight throughout the day which is absolutely THE thing required, specially during chilly winter days. Snugged between the temples yet situates at a walking distance from the market place makes the place well located.
Most importantly the hospitality bestowed by Tushar creates a human bond of high value and its combination with the above mentioned points makes the property a prime property and absolutely comfortable for solo travellers like myself.
The place is adorned with creativity scattered everywhere adding to the uniqueness of the place.

While my stay at Katyuri Kings Divine Homestay was wonderful, the only inconvenience I faced was that the toilet was not attached to the room. This required stepping out, which might be a bit challenging at night during colder weather. However, the overall warmth, and hospitality experience more than made up for this small inconvenience.

We loved the thoughfully prepared home cooked meals, "the Tushar special tea", and a little musical session offered by Tushar! The location is central and the homestay is a truly authentic homestay.

Reviewed Jan 31, 2024Tushar offers a cosy, homely homestay located just behind ancient Dwarahat temple of his ancestors, the Katyuri Kings.
His Mother lovingly prepares delicious local dishes, enjoyed around a fire in their home. Tushar sings like a heavenly god, with heart of bhakti. Aarti before dinner and classical devotional songs after.
A professional classical singer who travels throughout India giving concerts, he graduated from the famous Benares University in Varanasi. A real treat!
Tushar will also show you around his family's ancient temples and tend to your every need while in Dwarahat 'gateway to the gods'. A must stop enroute to Donagiri mountain to visit Babaji's Cave & Donagiri temple. In deep gratitude, Sara 🙏👣📿

Reviewed Oct 25, 2023We stayed at this beautiful, memerizing & peaceful homestay for 2 nights, which we felt was inadequate to be able to completely soak in the positive energy exhibited by Tushar and his mother who made us feel completely at home. Not to forget that surprise musical night, doze of delicious home cooked food. This whole experience of the place surrounded by the centuries old Hindu temples was something, which you cannot describe in words. It is something for you to explore it yourself first hand and staying at this homestay hosted by Tushar and his mother would take this experience to another level. Reviewed Apr 4, 2023There were 3 things I especially enjoyed.
Firstly Tushar brings you Chai, makes a little bonfire, brings coffee etc. even before you ask him to and it's always perfect timing.
Secondly the food his mother cooks is absolutely delicious.
Thirdly Tushar is a wonderfully talented musician. Ask him to play a few songs - very beautiful experience!
