Her apartment was well equipped to host us and she even left some water in the fridge, a must appreciated bonus. Central to the town and safe parking outside, I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Reviewed Mar 31, 2025We all loved everything about this Apartment, great space, comfy beds and everything you need. A home away from home. Host was easily contactable and replied quickly. We had an issue with locating the hair dryer and a new hair dryer arrived within 10 minutes.

Reviewed Oct 8, 2024The apartment was clean and well located. Check-in and out with the lockbox was simple.
We asked about room and bed types and were expressly told by the property manager that we would have a double room and another room with a double and single bed. On arrival that larger bedroom was locked and we had to use two bunk beds in a very small room. This was extremely uncomfortable and because of the guests’ age and physical mobility, not suitable and caused a lot of discomfort. We were attending a family wedding and had no time to look for alternative accommodation but it really affected our stay. We had expressly asked about the bed situation and looked at the room photographs and would absolutely not have booked if we had known this. The owner deliberately gave us misleading information. She was also quite unfriendly in messages and very suspicious of our group size without reason (which I suspect was the reason for the locked room). For this reason I can’t recommend for more than 1/2 people.

I booked 3 bedrooms. When we arrived, we only had access to 2 bedrooms. The door of the third bedroom was locked so I called the owner. She said I booked 3 beds and not 3 bedrooms & that she charges per bed. This is incorrect as I did book 3 bedrooms - copy of booking confirmation below which clearly states this. The owner advised that I would need to pay an additional €150 for the use of the third bedroom (which has bunk beds). I honestly feel like this was a scam as I had paid for 3 bedrooms already. We had a lovely time in Carrick but the accommodation was really disappointing.

Check in was so easy just using a code. Really appreciated the extra treats crisps, bars, milk, butter etc that was left out for us. Will definitely be back!
