Etwas zu viele Katzen auf der Insel. Da sollte was tierfreundliches unternommen werden. Im September waren ein paar Baustellen auf der Insel, das war nicht so toll. Aber gut Nebensaison, kann das immer passieren. In den Wasservillen hat man bei den 600 Nummern davon zum
Glück nichts mitbekommen.

Os empregados são todos muito simpáticos e prestáveis, a comida é ótima e todos os dias o buffet tem um tema diferente.
Íamos todos os dias para o reflection bar assistir ao sunset com DJ, muito bom!
Ficamos aqui na nossa lua de mel e ficamos encantados com todo o cuidado desde do dia que chegamos até irmos embora.
Os valores das massagens e atividades são muito caras.
As praias tem muitos corais partidos o que dificulta entrada e saída da água.

The property was Expensive. You need to pay for most things. Food, drink etc was super expensive. I took the half board food option. The Iru buffet had the best value and variety. We tried the restaurants and honestly they are not worth it.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026Our stay at Iru Fushi was simply unforgettable. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every single member of the team made us feel genuinely welcome. The kindness, professionalism and attention to detail of the staff were exceptional.
A very special thank you to Naura and Leah, who were absolutely amazing throughout our stay. They always greeted us with a smile and went above and beyond to make our holiday even more special. We’d also like to thank the gentleman who made the pancakes every morning at breakfast (I’m so sorry I don’t remember his name!) for always starting our day with such kindness, and the buggy drivers, who were incredibly friendly and always available.
The buggy service deserves a special mention. Having strategically located telephones near the water villa jetty made it so easy to request a buggy whenever we needed one. Travelling with a young child, this convenience made a huge difference and added so much comfort to our stay.
The resort itself is stunning, with beautiful beaches and crystal-clear water. We stayed in one of the newly renovated Water Villas with a private pool, and it was exactly as shown in the photos—absolutely breathtaking. Waking up every morning with those views was a dream.
Another fantastic touch was that the resort provided snorkeling equipment for the entire duration of our stay, allowing us to snorkel directly from our villa whenever we wanted. It made the experience even more magical.
Housekeeping was impeccable. The room was serviced several times a day, always kept spotless and beautifully arranged. The attention to detail was outstanding.
The food was also excellent, with a great variety and consistently high quality throughout our stay.
Everything about Iru Fushi exceeded our expectations. It is one of those rare places where luxury is matched by genuine warmth and hospitality. Thank you to the entire team for creating such wonderful memories for our family. We truly hope to return one day!

The Indian restaurant was one of the best I have ever tried. The best bars for us No Mistake Bar and Reflection Pool Bar. Of course the views and the sunsets were amazing! Stuff was very polite, friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Jinaan.

Даже если в меню не было того, что нам очень хотелось (например, веганский десерт или мороженое без сахара), нам его делали по заказу. Поварам 🧑🍳- отдельная благодарность !!! В Индийском ресторане все блюда были приготовлены лучше чем в Индии.
Пляжная зона - белый песок , виды - фантастика. Райское место !
На завтраке - много пп позиций. Сельдереевый сок, шоты с фенхелем для лучшего пищеварения, чиа пудинги, лён! Много зелени, много овощей. Рыбка свежего улова.
Так же Можно смузи заказать. Я использовала время в отеле по максимуму для здоровья.
Йога классы, тренировки в спортзале, плавание.
Лучшее время для себя !

Reviewed May 23, 2026I arrived needing to switch off and recharge, and I left completely restored and that’s down to the people as much as the place. This is my second trip to this resort within the last 5 years.
I have to start with Neesha, my butler, who was simply exceptional. From the moment we met to the minute I departed, he looked after me with a rare kind of intuition. He understood without being told that I wanted space to unwind, and he balanced it perfectly — attentive when I needed something, invisible when I wanted quiet. That instinct for reading a guest can’t be trained; it’s a gift. Neesha, thank you — you made the trip.
My housemaid looked after the beach villa 417, with that same quiet attentiveness. He kept everything immaculate without ever disturbing me, always anticipating what I needed , water bottles topped up, the little things sorted before I’d even noticed they were low. That kind of unobtrusive care is exactly what turns a villa into a true retreat. You know who you are .
The daily culinary team deserves equal praise. I have specific daily healthy dietary requirements, and rather than treat them as a limitation, the head chef and his team embraced them , cooking for me well outside the standard menu, day after day, never once making it feel like a fuss. It was like having my own private chef preparing exactly what my body needed. The skill and care there genuinely elevated the whole stay.
I came home fully recharged and ready for what’s next , exactly what a holiday should do, and rarely does this well.
To Neesha, my housemaid, the daily head chef and his team, and everyone at Sun Siyam Iru Fushi: thank you for looking after me so completely. I’ll be back for sure

Je conseille la formule all inclusive qui permet de profiter sans compter, les prix à la carte pour ceux n’ayant pas cette formule étant à la hauteur de l’établissement. …
Difficile à trouver des points négatifs. Peut-être le wifi instable, pensez à acheter une esim avant de partir. La 5g fonctionne parfaitement sur toute l’île .

Reviewed Apr 17, 2026Absolutely fantastic place that exceeded my expectations. We stayed for 12 nights in March in a beach villa with a pool. I had some doubts about which villa to choose and now looking back I think that was the right choice. We decided to go with only a breakfast being included and to pay for the rest. For us this worked the best. All inclusive would cost us 550 USD per day for two, while in reality we spent only 400-450 USD per day for lunches, dinners and cocktails.
What makes this place truly unique is people. Big kudos to all staff who made our trip unforgettable. My special thanks to our butler Hnin and excursion guide Ahmed - you are amazing guys! We took two private snorkeling tours and one shared tour to swim with sharks - all were fantastic, highly recommend.
If I can complain about something then this would be availability in some restaurants. Making a reservation in Trio is quite a challenge, especially at 18:30. And what was strange is that between 18:30 and 20:00 the restaurant was still half empty. Why not to let people book it then?

Qualcosa nel cibo va rivisto. Sopratutto nel ristorante centrale Iru. Con piccoli accorgimenti e un’offerta un po più ampia, sicuramente possono colmare la piccola lacuna.

Reviewed Apr 3, 2026Beautiful accommodations and impeccably detailed. Beach right outside the room. Way more than I expected. Had its own private pool. And came with private butler service, which was very important to me because I got sick on the evening that I arrived. Must’ve picked up a virus on route there or something. Butler was very accommodating and taking care of me.
That was definitely spoiled like never before which I really needed it after travels in northern India and feeling really bad for a couple days. I will definitely return. Nice combination of indoor and outdoor living.

Thebone problem we had was the booking of restaurants. Even with booking shorlty before we wnet the times were very limited. You definately need to contact the hotel to get your log in details to their app in plently of time before travel if you want to get into the restaurants at a reasonable time.

Recreation luncherna var toppen, fantastisk personal alltid glada och hjälpsamma. Supergoda luncher på så mysigt ställe vid vuxen poolen.
Att det blev en hets att hinna boka in sig för middagarna. När vi kom var alla restauranger fullbokade för hela perioden (16 nätter) vi skulle vara där. Vi fick sitta och bevaka om det skulle bli någon avbokning vilket förstörde lugnet man tänkt sig under sin vistelse. Att uppleva den fina maten var en del av det vi såg framemot.

Reviewed Mar 18, 2026- The Beach Villa is amazing, with a huge open bathroom. The bed is very comfortable.
- The beach itself on the western side of the island (side with the Beach Villas without Pool) is heavenly. No sand bags in sight (the other side has a lot more due to beach erosion).
- Very good diving experience (we were 2
AOW divers). The boat crew was incredibly helpful and nice. Our guide, TC, was professional and fun, as well as incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife.
- Great service, lovely people all over the resort. Special thanks to Sujana at Taste of India/Fluid Bar! The service feels very personalized.
- There are quite a few restaurant options, for lunch as well as for dinner (see below about package options).
- From your arrival, you get a dedicated butler who you can just text to if you need anything for the room or if you have any issues during your stay. Thahseen was very kind and efficient.
- Barely any waiting time between our international flight's arrival and the seaplane transfer.
- Food prices are on the high side; expect to pay around 50-70$ per person per meal for food only. Despite this, it is definitely not worth taking any kind of package beyond the Bed and Breakfast (we could've eaten twice as much for dinner and just barely reached the price difference for the Half Board).
- Food portions are very difficult to anticipate, not really related to price.
Sometimes ridiculous and sometimes very big.
- If you're looking for a quiet island where you can stargaze with nothing but the sound of the waves in the evening, this is not it. Expect noisy live concerts (which leave a bitter taste of "quantity over quality") and activities in the evening at the Water's Edge bar. Those can be heard quite far away.
- Compared to the other island where we stayed a few times, there are quite a lot of mosquitoes. Here they try to manage them using chemical fogging so expect to smell and see fuel smoke (it is the carrier for the insecticide) every afternoon. Hopefully they will soon update their methods to the more biodiversity- and climate-friendly method of mosquito-specific traps.

One of the sweetest moments of our trip happened during a treasure hunt organized at the kids club. Our child was asked where you can find all the answers about the island. The correct answer was supposed to be “the reception”… but without hesitation he said: “Fayaz.” 😆That moment made us smile so much, and it perfectly shows how present and helpful he was for us throughout the entire stay.

Reviewed Mar 2, 2026I had an exceptional experience staying at the resort from the moment we arrived at the resort to end of the stay. On arrival we had very warm welcome and were provided with an private Butler Alam who assisted with the check in and throughout the stay he was extremely helpful with the restaurant reservations to the recommendation of activities. Alam also prepared a surprise for the my birthday which was really nice.
Breakfast was exceptional with wide range of choices and also different restaurants at the resort. All the restaurants are very busy so should be booked in advance and that can be done through the resort app before arrival.
Beaches are pristine with white sand and turquoise water, there are reefs around the resort where snorkelling experience was really good.

Reviewed Feb 12, 2026Man kommt an und wird gleich in die Hoteleigene Lounge am Flughafen gebracht. Dort angekommen wird man gut versorgt. Auch der Transport per Wasserflugzeug klappte sehr gut und ist definitiv auch mal ein Highlight . Der Service auf der Insel ist besonders hervorragend und man wird rundum gut betreut, da man einen direkten Kontakt hat (Butler) und per WhatsApp alles mögliche erledigen kann wie Ausflüge und Reservierungen im Restaurant. Weiterhin hat das Hotel eine eigene App, in der man ebenfalls selbst alles erledigen kann. Das Konzept vom Hotel ist einfach fantastisch. Man kann auch so viel unternehmen und hat eine tolle Auswahl an Bars, Pools und Restaurants. Auch sind alle Villen so ausgelegt, dass man komplett seine Ruhe hat. An den Strandvillen hat man tatsächlich seinen eigenen Strand. Zum Schwimmen und Schnorcheln bietet das eigene Riff ausreichend Möglichkeiten und wir konnten Hai, Schildkröten und Rochen sehen. Auch werden geführte Trips angeboten und das alles in sehr kleinen Gruppen. Es gibt auch einen Familienpool und einen für Erwachsene und dieser ist auf der Sonnenuntergangsseite. Der Ausblick Abends ist natürlich fantastisch und ab 17 Uhr spielt ein Live DJ am Strand. Es wird noch zusätzlich eine kleine Bar am Strand aufgebaut, Fackeln und Licht. Dazu gibt es gemütliche Säcke zum reinlegen. Ich könnte noch vieles mehr schreiben, aber das würde den Rahmen sprengen. Meine Frau und ich waren viel auf der Welt unterwegs und hatten tolle Unterkünfte, aber das hier ist definitiv das Beste gewesen und wir wollen wiederkommen.
Es gibt absolut keine Kritik.

Reviewed Jan 29, 2026Fantastická rodinná dovolenka. Super ubytovanie a s tým spojené poskytované gastro služby. Samozrejme nadhérne more a pláže. Velké ďakujem patrí zamestnancovi rezortu - "butler Shahu", ktorý sa o nás celý pobyt vynikajúco staral.
