Communication compliquée avec l'hôte : ne répond pas à la moitié des questions, aucune consigne reçue sur la remise de clés et la 2eme chambre (spoiler alert : elle se trouve dans une des portes du placard...). Certaines fenêtres des chambres laissent passer le jour (pas de volet ou tentures). Le logement est très mansardée donc personnes de plus 1m75 s'abstenir !! La chambre enfant est glauque, dangereuse et encore plus bas de plafond. Ustensiles de cuisine manquants +++ (même pas de plat au four alors qu'il y a un four...).

Beautiful location, magnificent mountain view from the apartment window. Clean. Has a convenience store just 50 m from the property, bus stop literally opposite the apartment. Plenty of pots, plates,cutlery available.

As it was on the 2nd floor of a traditional chalet, very low ceilings. If you are above 6 feet you can’t stand straight in majority of the apartment. Access through very narrow staircase, so good luck with luggage and a buggy if you have one. Then the shower cubicle and sink inside the bedroom instead of separate bathroom which was really annoying and odd. Sofa is tucked in the vaulted ceiling area of the living room, my son banged his head few times when trying to get out of the sofa. The only reason we booked an apartment instead of a hotel is because we needed a kitchen and microwave. There is a kitchenette but no microwave, which was extremely inconvenient as we really needed that to re-heat my autistic son’s food. At the end der we had to do that in the pan,which was a nightmare. If you are advertising as an apartment, you should provide a microwave. No teabags, I have been to many places and booked apartments everywhere, the minimal you can provide is some complementary tea,coffee, sugar. there were only some sugar satchet. As it is next to a big road, it was very noisy at night and early morning.

Quiet and in the center of kandersteg. Very clean. Small, but sweet, good value for the price. Comfortable beds,easy check in, we were very happy!!!

Qu'il y ait un double booking sur la chambre initalement reservée. Quand nous sommes arrivés, des gens occupaient déjà notre logement. Quand nous avons appelél'hôte il nous a dit de nous nstaller dans l'autre logement à disposiiton. Malheureusement, une heure plus tard, une famille est venue toquer à la porte car elle avait reserve ce même logement. Nous avons donc passé 1h à discuter entre les 3 familles pour comprendre que notre logement inital avait été double booké pour la même nuit. Au final, la famille qui devait loger dans notre appartement est partie chercher une solution dasn un hôtel voisin. Nous n'avons vraiment pas apprécié cette expérience.

Mye plass i leiligheten og en liten balkong! Vaskeri rett på andre siden av gaten var praktisk for å vaske klær etter 6 dager på fjelltur.

L'host è totalmente sparito, è stato impossibile contattarlo dal giorno prima, non avevamo le foto per il check-in solo il codice del Locker ed ho dovuto fare una attività di reverse engineering su tutte le foto delle recensioni per capire dove fosse locato e come entrare. Comportamento assolutamente inaccettabile.

It hasn' t curtains and everyone shows you. It hasn't parking even though there is sign for parking reserved for the apartment. So before booking, think that you must pay for expensive parking in the area around... We paid for the night 30€.

The view is spectacular.

Nous aurions aimé savoir que la hauteur sous plafond était très basse. Nous avons eu la chance de ne pas avoir une grande personne avec nous, nous avons ressenti le côté « renfermé »

I like the fact that there was a nice cross breeze we could get with having the windows open on each side of the apartment.

Bare minimum supplies. If you want to cook there be prepared to buy everything; oil, pepper, salt, any seasonings. There was a major issue with the booking. Three families appeared to be booked for the same apartment. I booked the room about six months ago, had a confirmation number and my credit card was charged. Without going into all the details, just make sure you confirm with the owner a couple weeks in advance that you are the one who has the apartment I don’t know how this error happened but when you are traveling thousands of miles away from home you want to be assured you have a place to rest your head for the night!

Beautiful views from balcony and the apartment was so cozy and quiet

Getting up to the second floor apartment was a little squishy and I wish the apartment had bag storage for after check out.

We really liked the rooms! The bed was very comfortable and the apartment was cozy.

The room had a bad odor when we first arrived, but that seemed to clear out. The host was EXTREMELY unresponsive, they didn't communicate with us properly at all. The parking situation was extremely confusing and inconvenient. There's a parking space labeled "Apartment 2," (the apartment we were staying in), but the host had told us there was no on-site parking and someone else was parking there, which made me wonder why the sign was there. We had to park in a lot that was a 5-7 minute walk from the parking lot and the host didn't give us helpful instructions on which one to choose. Also, if you're planning on cooking, please note that the ceilings in the apartment are low and sloped, especially in the kitchen area. Still, it's a lovely area and we liked the apartment, would stay here again.

The location. The owner was friendly. The main bed was comfortable. The kitchenette had enough items to cook a simple meal. I was able to check in before the specified time.

Very steep narrow steps into apartment. The 2nd bedroom was for a very short person and had dangerous door access. Knocked head on beam several times as so low. Tiny lounge room. The dirty couch was a 2 seater, not comfortable for the 3 person apartment that was advertised. The sheer Curtains were pretty much non-existent, certainly no privacy from neighbours at night time and woken up with the crack of dawn. Definitely not a suitable place if you over 6 foot tall. Husband had to stoop as to not to hit his head on the ceiling in all areas. In the living room the safe standing space would have been about 4 foot wide, before it slopped down. Booking.com said there was air-conditioning, there was not - there was only an upright fan. It was super hot in the place during the day, As It was 32 degrees. But a lovely breeze that night.

There was no parking offered even if there was one. The shower was in the bedroom. Check-out very early.

Das Zimmer ist sehr eng, wenn man kein Zwerg ist. Die Dach-Schräge schränkt die Fläche, auf der man aufrecht gehen kann, stark ein.

Die Unterkunft ist zweckgemäss eingerichtet, klein aber fein, sehr sauber und zentral gelegen (Nähe Bahnhof/Restaurants).

Logement un peu simple compte tenu du prix relativement élevé. Deuxième chambre très petite et mal insonorisée (on entend beaucoup le bruit de la route). Salle de bain DANS la grande chambre sans séparation.

Location- close to everything you need

It is a super cute upper floor apartment surrounded by amazing views. However what we did not like is the mattress seems to be needing a change for it to sleep comfortably.

The location was perfect for what I needed, provided with all utensils etc to make it feel like a home away from home

Trop petit, les personnes grande de taille risque de se cogner la tête. L’emplacement de la deuxième chambre était cachée on a mis du temps à la trouver car aucune indication. La personne qui se charge de louer cet appart met une éternité à répondre point très négatif! J’ai du la relancer sur plusieurs jours pour qu’au final elle ne réponde même pas à mes questions. On a galerer à trouver l’appartement car aucune indication aucune photo et la personne ne répond pas.

The room is a bit low, but it’s super cozy and has everything you need. If you take a moment to look around, you’ll find all the essentials. The kitchen and living room get great sunlight, and honestly, I’d come back just for the view from the window. The location is great too—really close to a supermarket, and the bus to Lake Öschinen and Blausee is super convenient. I loved it here!

Dans l’annonce il y a écrit 2 chambres, c’est vrai mais la « petite » Chambre est vraiment pour un enfant quand il ne fait pas froid… un adulte ne peux pas y dormir correctement, très mansardé et la chambre est froide et pas de chauffage direct.

Quando siamo arrivati stavano facendo dei lavori quindi per accedere dovevi passare tra le impalcature, secchi pieni di sassi e materiale edilizio (pericoloso sia per noi che per il nostro cane) e avevamo il balcone con tutte le sigarette per terra e le sedie sporche di vernice, non eravamo stati avvertiti di ciò e comunque si poteva mettere un po’ in ordine prima del nostro arrivo, quando abbiamo avvertito il proprietario di ciò non si è nemmeno scusato. Non c’è un parcheggio, abbiamo dovuto parcheggiare in uno più avanti a pagamento per tutto il soggiorno. I soffitti sono bassi e bisogna stare attenti alla testa (ma d’altronde è una mansarda) La scala per accedere è molto stretta e si fa fatica a portare su grandi valigie

Good location as advertised in the apartment but the photos are very misleading.

The apartment is surrounded by scaffolding and being painted, so you can't park there anymore. It is a construction site with half bult roof, tools everywhere, and just really messy. The photos are very misleading, with the beautiful mountain views being shot out of the skylight in the toilet. And the rooms are much smaller than they appear. The apartment is generally in bad condition with lights zapng when switched on or off. Broken rail on the tiny balcony and parts of the steeps leading up to the apartment are also broken. The shower is also in the bedroom, very weird. Before arrival, we were told there was no longer parking and when we asked where was the best for us to park we never received an answer. We found paid parking 12 swiss Frank 24 hours about 10 minutes walk away. This wasn't the closet but was cheapest. The close parking was 30. For 24 hours.

Soffitti molto bassi, una persona alta potrebbe avere difficoltà. Non c’è disponibilità del parcheggio, nonostante la richiesta all’host non mi è stato indicato alcun parcheggio. Ho parcheggiato in uno a pagamento a circa 5/10 minuti a piedi per 10 franchi al giorno

Prior to arrival at this property, I reached out to the host to verify the fact that it had air-conditioning as our stay was happening during an extreme heat wave. He responded that there was no actual air conditioning only fans in this attic apartment. I told him that because we had reserved the apartment based on the description of air conditioning. We would not be staying there and expected a refund due to the misleading listing.

Neither the host/owner, nor Booking.com was helpful in this situation. Though we were initially assured that because the listing was incorrect, we would not be responsible for payment of this day. We never received a refund. We spent hours on the phone with booking and contacted the host multiple times. We are very disappointed in this service and hope that the listing will be changed to reflect the fact that there is no air conditioning so that future customers will not be misled the way that I was.

No parking (public parking 800 m from apartament 30 francs per night . I am a tall person 1.95 , ceiling was too low for me.

The host is very helpful The view is so stunning and calming We had a very good stay all basic toiletries and kitchen appliances are available and location wise it’s not too far from train station The ceiling is quite low kinda limited for anyone above 6ft

Exceptionally clean apartment and very comfortable beds! Great location close to the train station and shop. Cooking facilities and provided utensils/equipment all good. Left chocolate and some waters which was a lovely touch The ceiling height could be an issue for some, my 6ft 4 husband could just about stand up in the middle of the lounge and in the main bedroom. Also could do with a hook or space to hang things in the second bedroom. The curtains were very thin (net curtains) so there wasn’t the amount of privacy I’m used to, particularly when showering at night I felt I had to with the lights off.

Such a poor apartment should not be on the list of Booking.

The property is well-located, just ten minutes walking from the train station. There is also a bus station next to it. The apartment was clean and it is very good for a short stay.

A well-equipped flat with beautiful views. It's cleverly arranged, and a lot is packed into a small space - the kitchen is great for a holiday flat, with a proper cooker and oven, and quite a few cooking utensils. The location is basically perfect - a few minutes from the train station, the cross country skiing trails, the shops, and everything else. The owner reacted immediately when we messaged to ask if they could turn the heating up, and they sorted it out straight away.

Some of the "non-stick" pans in the kitchen are scratched; it would be safer to replace them with ordinary metal pans (since non-stick pans get scratched so easily). A colander to drain pasta would be good too.

Cute cosy little apartment with 360° views of the mountain ranges surrounding Kandersteg. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette was handy.

Because the apartment is pretty much the attic, the ceiling was quite low. I didn’t have too much of an issue because I’m a small human, but maybe an issue for others.

Worst stay ever. In the ad they stated that the apt: - features air conditioning - they didn't have one, it was a lie. I especially booked it because of the AC, because it can get hot and humid in the summer and I don't deal well with heat. Since it was under the roof, it was stuffy and hot. Opening the windows didn't help much, since there was no wind and the heat just accumulated under the roof and heated up the walls/ceiling. - probably not a problem in the winter. - is recently renovated - not true - its an attic build out with a low ceiling, in the kitchen the ceiling is at 195cm, in the second bedroom probably at 170cm and the doors are probably at 180cm, not even sure its legal what they are doing. Other comments: The (Master) bedroom has a king?! bed but no mattress, just two mattress toppers on top of each other, which made for uncomfortable sleeping. The shower is just in the bedroom on the side, very basic and old The fully equipped kitchen is built under a slanted roof, so you cant stay straight and it didn't have a dishwasher, so much for fully equipped. The towels provided were very small, more on a level of hand an face towel instead of bath and hand towel, hard to dry yourself after showering. Felt like 30 year old student housing in the attic under the roof.

The localization was perfect.

The location is perfect with the view of the mountains. The apartment was so cosy and spacious, well equipped and the many fur carpets made it feel so warm and comfy. We slept like babies. We had a dinner to the most beautiful view.
