Beautiful home,very clean and peaceful. Location was lovely

The location was ideal; quiet road; within easy reach of facilities such as supermarket, cafes, restaurant, etc. Local children’s playground and walking routes were an added bonus.

L'emplacement, le calme, le parking privè L,appartement est très confortable, spacieux et propre,, il y avait même quelques provisions de base à notre arrivée. .

The house was in a perfect location for us, its down a quiet road but there are shops within walking distance, A nice artisan coffee shop just up the road. There is a beautiful walk just over the road as well and our host was very friendly and responsive. We went into Galway (A 20 minute drive) one day and explored more locally another. There was a lovely vibe in nearby Oranmore and Morans of Weir is just a few minutes away serving amazing oysters (a local specialty). The house itself is lived in, but that made it very relaxed and comfortable for us as we were traveling with a dog. The beds were new and very clean and there was lots of essential supplies already stocked, shower gel, spices, tea bags, biscuits, fresh milk etc..making you feel at home as soon as you arrive.

It’s located in a cute very friendly town with some good places to eat and lots of beautiful walking trails through fields and forests. It’s a great place for kids and adults and not too far from Galway

Very clean, comfortable beds and linens. Great location to walk to pubs for a pint or dinner.

Locatie is prima, boodschappen in de buurt en SUPER stil in de nacht. Communicatie met verhuurder is heel goed. Parkeerruimte is ruim, de sleutet is makkelijk te vinden en op te vragen. De eetkamer is mooi opgezet.

De keuken is ronduit goor. De afzuigkap is een health-risk zo vet (bruin en plakkerig) alle pannen waren vies, al het bestek en er zijn heel weinig glazen. De douches hebben een slechte waterdruk en boven is de douche alleen handbediend. De stofzuiger is zelf viezer dan hij ooit kan zuigen. Doordat we hebben afgewassen voor én na het koken, hebben we het in ieder geval schoner achtergelaten dan hoe aangetroffen. De bank (lap stof met half kussen) zit echt voor geen meter.

Lovely house great location. Pub did amazing seafood chowder.

La surface de la maison, la luminosité, le calme, le côté cozy (moquettes, couvertures, coussins). On se sent tout de suite chez soi. Parking facile devant la maison. L’emplacement est parfait. Clarenbridge est un joli village avec tout à 2min a pied de la maison: supérette, boulanger, poste, pubs et restaurants, promenades nature au bord de la rivière.

Salle de bain du rdc: sans lavabo et pression d’eau minimale. Salle de bain de l’étage: pression d’eau minimale. Il faut clairement moderniser le système d’arrivée d’eau pour les salles de bain.

PAS ASSEZ DE CHAUFFAGE.Aucune indication de fonctionnement des douches et électroménager difficile pour des français.Sanitaires et frigo non vidés et sales.Pas d'ustensiles pour cuisiner;location pour 7 personnes aucune marmite,grande casserole, égouttoir et autres.La propriétaire a fait livré des baies vitrées et fenêtres pendant notre séjour,on n'a pas pu partir pendant le temps de livraison.

Spacious , clean & extremely cozy, a home from home. Shelagh was very helpful & very responsive to messages. She made sure the house was warm enough for our stay & asked if we needed more heat. Very secure garden for our dog , with some lovely walks in the area. The beds were so comfortable. We all slept great. An excellent property for visiting family in Galway over the Christmas period. We had three vehicles , which we were able to park securely in the front of the property. Approximately 30 minutes drive to Galway city centre .

This house is located in a nice quiet location within easy walking distance of the shops, cafes & pubs in Clarinbridge Village. It is well appointed, well furnished and spotlessly clean. The bedrooms are well sized with comfortable beds. We also appreciated the off street parking. This house was ideal for our stay.

The instructions were very clear on where the lockbox was and the code was sent in advance. The host was very timely and helpful in communications.

When we arrived all of the windows upstairs were open and there were flies everywhere (at least 40). The hot water and heating had been turned off without anyone’s knowledge so we did not have hot water the first night, but the host was able to help us figure it out so we did not have issues after that.

La casa estaba impecable y puesta con mucho mimo. Tiene todo lo necesario para pasar una estancia cómoda y tranquila. Andando se puede ir a pubs y tiendecitas. Entorno tranquilo.

Nous nous sommes sentis très bien ! C'est une maison lumineuse, confortable, dans une rue calme. La communication est parfaite avec l'hôte. L'emplacement pour visiter le connemara est un peu éloigné, il faut compter 2 heures pour aller à parc national et kyllemore mais galway est à 20 minutes. Possibilité de descendre dans le Burren très facilement. Belle surprise au bout de la rue, il y a le stade de Hurling (horaires des matchs sur le Facebook du club GAA Clarinbridge), et c'est une excellente découverte !!

The house is very spacious and clean. We felt comfortable and would recommend the place to those looking for a tranquil location.

The start was a bit messy, as there had been a double booking and the house was already occupied. But Shelagh immediately found a solution and eventually we ended up in the very city center of Galway. So I can't really give any opinion on the Village House but the whole experience was fantastic. Thank you so much to Shelagh for having been so reactive and wonderful.

Last guest broke the bathroom sink not sure if they also broke the toilet seat or that was just like that. Had to trouble shoot the WiFi

It is an old house but very spacious.

Hot water was not really working properly in both bathrooms. An upgrade to the bathrooms and kitchen would be ideal.

Great location, lovely house. Had everything you need. Very clean, and the welcome gift was a great touch. Would definitely stay again and would recommend it. Communication from the owners were great.

No one sent us the instructions to access the house, we had to wait almost 1 hour until they return the call. The oven didn’t work.
