Clean and good location. Very fast to communicate if I had a question.

Walls are thin for noise but it is an older building so expected.

The renovations are amazing! Location is great and you can actually walk to places to eat and shop! It was VERY clean! It’s a quiet setting and staff was friendly.

The bed was a full and we could have used a queen, so backs were a bit stiff. We were given towels for the week but no one ever checked to see if we needed fresh ones. Trash collection- there was supposed to be to be a dumpster however we could not locate.

Very convenient, right on Main Street. Clearly newly remodeled rooms, very comfortable & inviting. Appreciated having fridge, microwave & coffee machine. Terrific value as well.

Took a minute to figure out the lock but that was a very minor glitch & staff helped.

Lady who lives there above room 3 is loud, stomping all night and early morning, so loud that it will keep you up and forget about sleeping in the loud walking and banging starts early in the morning!! And barking dog. Amd floors are nasty, no vending machines or ice. The pillows are super soft so bring your own.

I was new to the kind of door lock they use. Had to find neighbor to help with getting it to work. Could have texted directions! Also what cable network to use for TV. Two pods for coffee. Etc . Staying 2 nights.

My wife and I booked this as a little get away, and we loved how it was decorated, we got a room with just 1 bed for the 2 of us and it was great, really homey

We didn’t like how it says that you can see the lake but it’s only to the side of the building right at the mini homes

When booking, I thought it was the style with the loft. The names did not specify, so the one I picked ended up being a normal hotel style room.

It was very clean. I like the door code option since we checked in late. It was very nice for the one night we needed it passing through.

The only change I would make is that the outside light at night is very bright and it could use a better curtain on the window to keep out the light.

The keyless entry was awful, took at least 4 times, every time to get in, a few times the girl working there had to try and 4 times we had to get a new code, then it went back to the old code, after letting me in with the new code !!

Neighbors up and next door could hear tv and walking.

We booked a room a couple hours in advance. We were contacted very soon to let us know our room number. This is an adorable little place to stay!!

The property was clean and staff on site was kind.

The internet did not work for the entirety of my stay. Which included the tvs not working. I had to connect everything to my cell phone hot spot in order to have tv or to use my laptop for school and work. This is inconvenient as I traveled with 4 young children who utilize the TVs and Internet as well. The staff on site tried to get it to work. But it never worked. I feel like I should be refunded for part of the cost since they did not follow through with the amenities stated in the description.

Where was the breakfast? The closer for bathroom door was not easy to close evan for my son whose is only 57.

The room was clean and cute. The location was good, I liked the area.

There wasn't actually any lake access from the property. It was simply a place to shower and sleep, nothing to enjoy on the property. One of the mattresses was very worn and uncomfortable on one side, the other was good.

The room had an adjoining door if you need adjoining rooms which made the sound carry. We heard an entire phone conversation with the room next door at normal tone of voice. Also needs some way to hang clothes

Would be nice to have an ice machine but the rooms have all been remodeled. They are CLEAN and all decorated very nicely.

The location was excellent for our trip. Room was remodeled and was very nice and clean. The mini split kept the room nice and cool. The bed was extremely comfortable and slept very well.

The noise from the family above room 7 was loud but it was only the little kids. Once we realized it was kids & heard them laughing, it made the bother better. Hearing the kids laughing brought back memories of ours at that age. The Wi-Fi- this place has TERRIBLE wifi. I contacted the property manager via text and they sent back several passwords to different wifi hot spots. NONE of them worked. The TV was a Roku tv and it had to have internet connection to work. I would up using my hotspot on my phone to run the tv for the weather & news. It’s was not ideal at all. Don’t advertise free wifi and tv if neither of them work. Hot water- the hot water was more along the lines of just above Luke warm. My hot tub at home gets hotter. No hot water for showers! Maybe the water heater was on the Fritz, it was not the worst experience at all so don’t take it that way. Just putting it out there. A few things we did see that was needed in the room itself was, 1- another full sized wall mirror other than the one over the sink in the bathroom 2- ceiling fan 3- a few more outlets around the beds.

We're supposed to be in "D" but was switched to "F", which had to look at the back of a garage and an old trailer. Then she rented "D" to someone else. King bed in tiny bedroom was ridiculous, could hardly walk around bed, if you moved bed you couldn't shut the door. No grab bar in shower.

Being told she put us in a different cabin because of internet issues, then rents it to someone else, probably a friend or someone she knew.

It was a clean and bright room. It was two miles from my work location.

There was no soap. It only had shampoo and conditioner. I had to purchase soap, which should be a staple. The internet was basically non existent. Any time I watched a show it would last for about 5 minutes and then start buffering and eventually come up with an error message. It was the same anytime I used my own devices. (phone & tablet) Upgrade your internet.

I thought the motel was in a pretty area,very quiet and access to local food. A great local breakfast brunch restaurant called Sundance Grill I believe. Although I got a headache from the overwhelming wood scent,I thought it was a pretty room and I can understand the theme.

With the rooms I reserved 2 one for myself and one for my daughter and her family. (1)Neither room has locking bathroom doors. The rolling barn doors gave zero privacy as you could see through the decent opening while closed on the roller. My grandson was in our room with my son in law and daughter and he rolled the door open while I was doing my personal business. Since the door rolls from the outside, I couldn't secure the door shut with my foot or hand. (2) As soon as I got to the room I noticed the bathroom had soil spots on the floor so I purchased cleaning wipes immediately to clean the floor as it was filthy. Pictures included I used 6 wipes in total. Which is sad because it's a pretty room and Im sure the owners put a lot of work into this establishment. Cleaning services are not doing their jobs well. I witnessed upon leaving for an event a swiper mop being used for at least two rooms so this explains the floor issues as the pad appeared to be old and over used. I had to also use a bath towel to clean my room floor when my grandson came over and the towel was filthy within the first 30 min of checking in. The shower was clean. (3)There is no information given in the rooms as to how to reach a staff member of the motel. The rooms did not have a phone to call guest services. There is a coffee machine with cups but without coffee pods or creamer. (4) We were there from Saturday until Monday but only had one roll of TP and half a roll used again I was clueless to where the office was or if the had one. (5)I was texted a door code and wifi password which was fine but no one verified my information upon check in. (6) This is a small beautiful town,it would be a great idea to have things to do while here phamplets in each room. Local restaurants, activities sight seeing. Now will I rebook if I ever come back?? Yes because I believe in supporting local vs big corporation.

Newly renovated and clean. I had an issue with the door lock (my fault) and the lady I spoke to on the phone was patient and helpful. Hours after I left, I found out I left my wedding band on the counter. I called and spoke to the same lady and she went to find my ring and offered to ship it to me. Wonderful experience all around.

Nice location right in the middle of town, they had K cups sat out for coffee which I didn’t use but was very nice to have. When we seen the staff she was very pleasant and asked if we needed any more towels and was very nice. Overall a good stay.

The water pressure is low but it’s not that big of a deal and they don’t have detachable shower heads so it makes it a little harder to shower. I don’t like the sliding barn doors for bathrooms because they don’t lock and it’s kinda embarrassing going to the bathroom with them if your with someone.

There was no communication prior to the day of arrival saying there was no staff on property and that we would need to wait for a door code so that was extremely inconvenient, but could have been avoided with prior knowledge. It was extremely difficult to get anyone on the phone. Especially when the keypad locked us out.

Beautiful cabin style room, the whole place looks freshly remodeled, convenient location. The bed was extremely comfortable the room was spotless. We did have some trouble with the door locks (locked out) which took some persistence to reach the office to resolve (20 min and more than 6 calls to get an answer) you can hear some road noise in the room, but i guess thats the price you pay to be in walking distance to most of Hiawassee. Its a nice place but i was very annoyed with the locks, the several other people i saw were struggling with them as well.

I thought the hot water was hot enough. My wife, who likes it much hotter than I do, was unimpressed.
