Reviewed Mar 25, 2026This place is so beautiful. It has a lovely pool and views. Dinner is good - need to be asked day before. Don't skip this place!!!

Reviewed Mar 17, 2026The house is in a glorious position overlooking the harbour on one side and open sea on the other with a lovely deck and swimming pool. Federica, the house keeper is helpful and cooks a good breakfast and other meals as requested. Bedrooms are rustic but clean and overall the house is peaceful and quiet but with enough guests to enjoy conversation if you want to.
As other reviews say, the road leading to the house is diabolical but it slows speeding down.

Reviewed Jan 31, 2026Sensational location on top of the cliffs overlooking Falmouth Bay. Magnificent views front and back. Hostess Federica went out of her way to make our stay memorable. Room was rustic but very comfortable and spotlessly clean.
The 1km drive from Mathews Road was mainly a bumpy, pot-holed off road challenge. We hired a 4WD which coped quite well but anyone with a saloon car would need a 2mph speed limit to get to the top.

Reviewed Jan 29, 2026Frederick welcomed us and was helpful and friendly. The views are sensational! The house has a relaxed charm and a lovely infinity pool looking out to sea.
There is a bumpy road up to the house but if you don’t mind this then it’s worth the trip! It would be nice to have some sodas / drinks / snacks available to buy .

Getting to it was a nightmare due to the very bad road leading up to it. Mostly unpaved and full of potholes. Only one member of staff to attendance. And frankly being charged $35 for a plate of pasta after the fact was outrageous

Remote location. Very poor streets. Dead end road parking. For price I would suggest a kettle in the room. Way of having some drinks, snacks as not a pleasant drive to get food. Facilities were limited for the price.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2024Fantastic place beautifully location on a cliff by the ocean. Amazing service by the staff. Absolutely not a party destination, which suited me well. Sitting on the veranda looking out on the ocean having zoom meetings - wonderful!
All good, but I think it would be good with a self service bar where you should be able to help yourself to a cold beer and a glass of wine.
