Cozy house in heart of Swedish Lapland

Good value for the amount of space you get, clean, big kitchen and living room.

There is only one bathroom, not the advertised two. It is out of order and have been for at least three years going by other reviews. The house is old and worn, with creaking floors in every room, discolored and stained walls, and the one working bathroom badly needs a renovation.

Det var det enda som fanns tillgängligt i Vuollerim denna natt. Stort hus och köket var välförsett med både kaffe och kryddor. Om man gillar slitet 1970-tal så är det cosy, annars inte. Övervuxen trädgård och skraltig trappa, men det funkade.

Luktade av gammal cigarettrök inne. Skabbigt och slitet, överbliven möblering och julpynt framme.

The house was in a nice small neighbourhood and it was quiet village. Also the terrace was a nice wonderful place to sit and eat.

One room needed some renovation.

Prostorná chatka v srdci švédského Laponska, ideální jako základna pro objevování severu. Po rezervaci nás překvapila informace, že v suterénu domu žije majitelova tetička, na pohodlí ani soukromí to však nemělo žádný vliv. Interiér byl zařízený ve výrazně retro stylu a některé části by si zasloužily menší rekonstrukci. Přesto šlo o příjemné a pohodové ubytování na zajímavém místě.

Great location, great house, very cozy and have everything you need.

El único baño disponible podría estar más limpio. También era un poco viejo y eso lo hacía incómodo. El resto de la planta baja de la casa había sido reformado.

Washing machine and plenty of space to dry and take care of hiking equipment were nice things after muddy and rainy weather.

A very cozy house with lots of space and rooms! It’s not modern, but I personally prefer old houses and decor over contemporary style. The house is homely and full of character. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, and there were even spices, tea, and coffee available. The covered terrace in the backyard was lovely – perfect for enjoying dinner and breakfast. The double bed downstairs was comfortable. Communication with the host was smooth. There’s a woman living in the basement who maintains the house, but we didn’t hear a sound from her, so it didn’t bother us at all. The house was easy to find. I recommend it for families with children – we’d be happy to come again :)

The shower could use a bit of an update, as the water tended to flow toward the bathroom door while showering. The upstairs was quite hot. However, I consider these to be just “minor imperfections” in an otherwise well-functioning and pleasant overall experience.

Keybox - I always love keyboxes because its easier for guests and hosts.

After we booked it I got the information that in the basement lives thes hosts sister - which has an extra entrance but still a bit weird because you never feel comfortable to walk around and turn on the volume of the TV when you know that someone lives downstairs. This info would be helpful upfront because I dont think we would have booked it than.

Very good house equipped with everything you need. Very helpfull host. This small village is amazing. Quiet and nature all around.

The house was really good and everything was exceptional for us. We loved the atmosphere! Additionally, rooms were quite big and there was a comfortable bed for every member in our family! The host was also really kind and fourthcoming with our requests!

Barbecue, fully equipped kitchen, wintergarden.

Nothing that we disliked. It was fantastic.

That was nice, old and beautiful house.

Location is nice and near grocery store. we were able to use the kitchen and cooked. the house will not be totally empty, there is someone living upstairs. the whole ground floor is the only one accessible.

its an old house. the bathroom does smell. the pillows and mattress has a smell. the sheets though and duvet are clean and it smells freshly washed.

The house was very welcoming and, indeed, cozy! The kitchen was fully furnished so we were able to cook, there was a flat-screen TV in the living room and everything we could have needed, we had. And the host was so incredibly kind and selfless!
