Das Zimmer war wie beschrieben. Die Leute vor Ort sind freundlich. Die Welle liegt direkt vor der Tür.

Das ist kein Hotel. Es ist ein Zimmer in einem Gebäude - keine Rezeption, kein Gemeinschaftsbereich, keine Küche, keine Kantine, kein Restaurant, nichts. Man kann sich ausschließlich im eigenen Zimmer aufhalten. Wer ein Hotel bucht, prüft vorher nicht, ob es eine Rezeption gibt, ob es einen Ort zum Sitzen gibt oder ob man dort essen kann. Das setzt man voraus. Hier ist nichts davon vorhanden. Dazu das Umfeld: Rechts und links neben dem Gebäude stehen nur noch Ruinen, in der direkten Umgebung ist kaum etwas intakt. Gegessen wird zwangsläufig im Warung am Strand nebenan - die einzige realistische Option, Qualität mittelmäßig. Auf den Fotos sieht man Zimmer, Balkon und Welle. Was rechts und links danebensteht, zeigt keine einzige Aufnahme. Vor der Anreise hatten wir direkten Kontakt zum Manager, der zugleich der Surf Guide ist. Kein Wort dazu, wie es dort tatsächlich aussieht - dafür die Aufforderung, 100 Euro für Surfstunden vorab zu überweisen, damit die Termine fest eingeplant werden. Wir sind noch am Ankunftstag wieder abgereist. Um Rückerstattung haben wir gebeten, sie wurde abgelehnt. Wir sind seit Jahren regelmäßig in Indonesien und auf den Philippinen unterwegs und einiges gewohnt. Hier haben wir es keinen Tag ausgehalten. Wer ausschließlich zum Surfen kommt und bereit ist, zwischen Zimmer, Warung und Welle zu pendeln, kommt zurecht. Allen anderen raten wir ausdrücklich ab.

Sea view rooms have unbeatable views. It’s so good, it’s addictive to just sit and watch for hours. Location, location, location.

Water pressure in the shower wasn’t great. Felt like I was dancing in the rain.

sem dúvidas a melhor hospedagem em lakey peak pelo que vi. localização é muito boa, de frente para a onda e com um dos melhores restaurantes da área na porta, que serve de café da manhã até jantar a preços totalmente honestos ao que entregam (que é de qualidade).

as vezes ser na porta do pico pode deixar em situações desconfortáveis com pessoas que não são do hotel.

Loved our stay at The Peak, our room was great, comfortable, clean, fresh, a 20l water bottle, and that view! There is no common area or restaurant in the hotel but lots of great options right by it.

Not an issue with The Peak at all but organising drivers to/from Lakey was a bit of a nightmare - someone controls the drivers who can work in and out of Lakey and same for bima airport, so drivers we booked in advance ended up cancelling and then the local drivers wouldn’t allow us to travel with more than four of us in their 7-seat vans. Next time I would just book transport through Dedi at The Peak. He knows all the local rules and sorted things out for us in the end when we were getting mucked around after trying to deal direct.

Great place, nice location

No communal chill area. It’s for lakey peak/Huu a really nice hotel. In Bali it would be a bit overpriced and kind of average. But since they’re the nicest hotel there I understand they’re a little bit expensive. The sea view rooms have a so much better view then the ones at the back, different world..

Prachtige locatie aan de mooiste surfsport van Sumbawa. Mooiste hotel in de omgeving.

Waren geen gezamenlijke faciliteiten als een lobby, eet ruimte, zwembad oid. Past misschien ook wel in de surf vibe. Maar als je met iemand reist die niet surft was dat wel een pluspunt geweest.

Le personnel était adorable du début à la fin. L’ambiance était agréable au sein de l’établissement. Lits très confortables, clim fonctionnelle et la chambre était bien propre. Je recommande d’aller manger au Nami juste à côté!

Le seul point négatif est que nous n’avions pas de savon pour se doucher donc nous nous sommes débrouillés

Such an amazing place to stay right in front of the peak. We stayed in the top left room and loved the views out to the ocean and gardens. The rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable & aircon is ice cold. The manager is so kind too. There are so many great cafes close by - it’s the perfect location! We didn’t want to leave. 5 nights wasn’t long enough!

Could not have asked for a better view. Waking up each morning with a cup of coffee on the swing was just perfect.

Great location, clean, perfect spot for a surf trip!

We had a bit of a nightmare trying to leave due to a miscommunication on Peak’s behalf. We had originally requested a taxi to take us back to Bima airport - it was an early start at 3:30am. The day before, we informed the manager that we no longer needed a taxi as we’d made a plan with another surfer to share a taxi with them. However, a taxi arrived for us anyway and then parked us in refusing to move! I had received no confirmation that a taxi was coming for us or even a time / name of the driver. They blocked us from leaving and if we refused to pay we would have missed our flight. We’d heard about this ‘taxi mafia’ but this was entirely the Peak’s fault and resulted not only in us having to pay double (2 x taxis instead of 1) but it also created a very tense and stressful departure. Of course no one was around at this time to help us - if Peak is going to offer to help organise these things then they really need to be better with communication and actually confirm the details because this was entirely preventable.

Great location, wonderful modern rooms, very clean, very comfortable beds, modern bathroom, as close to lakey peak as possible. We had a wonderful surf trip to Lakey Peak, love the vibe, thanks Captain for hosting us, cant wait to come back.

Directly on the beach, quiet; the rooms are modern and well thought, there is space for surfboards, a very large drinking water bottle in each room, a good desk to work and strong wifi.

There is no reception, in case you need anything. It is not a big issue, though!

Best place in Lakey! Such a beautiful spot, great rooms, and a great atmosphere. The crew are amazing to deal with and helped me out by letting me stay an extra night as well!

Perfect access to Lakey peak and pipe surfspot. Roms are clean and modern.

Basically anyone can access the garden, which will include many people offering you Scooter rental or massages. They are quite persistent and sometimes just walk onto your terrace. This can be very annoying and impacts relaxation negatively.

I’ve been at the Peak for 20 days and I could only recommend this place. The view is amazing, especially if you are on the ocean side : you can see Lakey from your bed and choose the perfect timing to go surfing 🤙 The room has all the amenities you need : good WiFi, small refrigerator to keep your beers fresh for the after session, … This place also offers cleaning regularly and laundry services. Finally, the Peak crew/owners are very friendly & responsive. Best place to make the most of your trip at Lakey !!

Nothing, everything was perfect !

This place has the best view :). The rooms are big enough for hosting two full surfbags ;). They even offer a water tank and a small French press in the room. Check in and checkout were smooth. They also have proper internet availability.

- the bathroom need a small invest… the toilet lid was not fitting the toilet … which was a bit well … not so nice. - they offer 4 days cleaning in general - you need to ask them if you want it more frequently- as there is a lot of rubbish in the bathroom I would definitely suggest to do a daily bathroom cleaning.

The location is best for surfer. and cleanliness is very good!

The rooms were superb. The view was amazing and Dedi the manager was friendly, helpful and generous with his time. He is a super nice guy.

Dedi Gun was an amazing host, super knowledgeable and great all round host and surf guide.

Nice and comfy room with everything you need for your surf trip. Comfy beds, surf racks in the room and a clean bathroom. The location ist perfect, right in front of the surfspot. The surf manager can tell you about the spots and go surf with you if you need guidance. All in all a really nice surf house!

There were no chairs on the balcony to use it, but still handy to hang wet clothes
