Toen we aankwamen op de afgesproken tijd was er nog een schoonmaker aan het werk. Het huis was daarna gewoon echt niet schoon. Niet wat je mag verwachten voor die prijs. Er was een tegemoetkoming toegezegd, maar ik krijg steeds geen antwoord. Ik heb meerdere douche afvoeren moeten schoonmaken omdat het water niet wegliep. In één badkamer konden we alleen koud douchen.

Pobyt w tym miejscu był absolutnie wyjątkowy. Dom położony jest w niezwykle malowniczej okolicy, a widok z tarasu zapiera dech w piersiach – można godzinami podziwiać krajobrazy. Sam obiekt jest bardzo zadbany i wyposażony we wszystko, co potrzebne do komfortowego wypoczynku. To idealne miejsce na relaks i ucieczkę od codzienności. Zdecydowanie polecam i z chęcią wrócę ponownie!

The location and the view. Just 12 minutes away from Södermalm by car. The villa is very big, modern and the view is amazing. You will get to see many different kinds of boats passing by. Also the kayak was nice. We left with mixed feelings, the place was so beautiful but we had some serious issues, see below.

Where to start… It felt like the villa is not ready to be rented out yet. While the place lacks personal touch, there are also some serious remarks to make: - the place was not clean, there were red wine stains on the floor and on the roof terrace, this looked like a crime scene to us and this was not a pleasant welcome at all, the cleaner came after we talked to the manager, but instead of half an hour it took more than an hour to come, we were patiently waiting but you can imagine how inconvenient this could be if you were planning to head out - almost 50% of cushions had a very very very bad smell, it clearly hasn’t been washed (maybe even for months), this was really unacceptable. - the dryer was still running upon arrival, it feels like the cleaners don’t have enough time to clean (and thus the house wasn’t thoroughly been cleaned for the next guests) - there were only small lace curtains everywhere, so you will not have any privacy or daylight blocking in the rooms except in the master bedroom - there is a room without windows on the souterrain floor with unfinished walls - the souterrain floor felt very weird for sleeping, it is a very big open space with some mattress on the floor, a bed and a sleeping couch, all right next to the washing room and a not to be entered (but very visible) dark room full of construction tools - on one day the alarm (fire or door) kept going off, and this is a very loud sound which was unbearable. While talking to the manager he told us to take out the batteries (which is very weird to ask from your guests), we didn’t even have ladders or tools to do so. After some hours he finally sent somebody to help us out by unplugging all the alarms. This whole experience really got us put off. Some extras: - there is no coffee machine - the cushions for the outdoor sofa on the rooftop terrace were all just placed on the stairs right before the door of the rooftop terrace, this made entering the rooftop quite dangerous.

At first, I thought we were just booking a fancy house, but later realized that we booked an incredible view and the house was just a bonus. We spent three glorious sunny days (2 nights) there in the middle of April 2025. The experience only gets better when you walk around and discover more of the area. You'll find a mixture of pristine century-or-two old wooden houses along with modernistic glass & concrete cube houses such as this one. My oldest kid (a teenage daughter at that) immediately seized the master bedroom because of the giant closet and bathroom; only to say that she's never going back home again. My three younger boys played hide & seek for what felt like hours at a time. I got to enjoy the entire basement alone two floors down. The neighborhood is so nice and quiet. You get to watch the boats pass by from the house or down by the tiny pier. Someday when I grow up, I'll become a neighbor.

I'd be lying or too picky if I had to come up with anything I didn't like. The kids were happy, and that made me happy.

The location was great! Pretty scenery. The host was super lovely. When we had a slight issue accessing the key box on arrival, it did take a while, but we managed to get into the property. Due to the issues accessing the property, they extended the stay by 1 hour for checkout. The property had all the amenities needed, and we would return!
