Centrally located, in the middle of Galle. The staff especially were super friendly and helpful. Interesting building and room design.

A few very minor things - sink tap in the bathroom was really loose and the outside private terrace area from the room could’ve done with a smarten up, but these were small things. Breakfast was really nice but would’ve been good if all the cooked breakfast items came together rather than separately. But the above are tiny details and my stay was lovely. Would thoroughly recommend.

We sliepen naast de generator, dus als de stroom uitviel hoorden wij een tijd een heel hard geluid.

Fantastico hotel en Galle Fort. Tanto la habitación como el baño están genial y son muy grandes, se ve bastante nuevo y de buena calidad, tiene ventilador de techo y airea acondicionado.

La habitacion tiene un problema y es que las puertas son muy antiguas y acústicamente están muy mal aisladas, se cuela mucho ruido y si necesitas silencio para dormir puede ser molesto, necesitan mejorar ese aspecto

The rooms were very well appointed and the beds were especially comfortable. The high ceilings made the rooms feel very spacious.

Just loved the stay. We stayed here for 4 days. The property is amazing. It’s a very beautiful boutique hotel, with the perfect location. Praveen & Mishari are so so helpful & lovely. They made sure everything was perfect always. Just awesome for a family vacation

Very tight bathrooms

Location, beautiful historic villa, well decorated room. Comfy bed. Breakfast was very nice. Staff were friendly.

Mosquitoes in reception on arrival. Got a lot of bites upon check-in made for an itchy few days. Had to change rooms as 1st room smelled of paint. Rubbish piled outside on neighbouring derelict building. Not their fault but the area needs a tidy up.

Leuk kleinschalig hotel midden in het fort en bij de leukste winkelstraatjes. We hadden een fijne ruime kamer met mooi heerlijk liggend hemelbed. De badkamer was mooi met prima douche. Het ontbijt was prima (wel Westers), met een aankruislijst voor onze wensen wat verspilling helpt tegen te gaan. We vonden het leuk dat als je de kamer uitstapt je uitkomt op de gallerij met uitzicht op een grote boom die op de binnenplaats groeit. We hadden een vriendelijk ontvangst door de dame bij de receptie.

Er lagen zwarte haren in het doucheputje. De deken op het 1 persoonsbed bed op de vide kriebelde, waardoor onze dochter bij ons in bed is gaan slapen. Een laken zou beter zijn geweest voor dit bed.

Very central. Bed was very comfortable and the room looks lovely. Breakfast area looks gorgeous and food is generous.

Did not have a bar fridge, would have been handy to have to store a couple of bottles of water as it was extremely hot outside. There is a cute small balcony but no seats or table.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay in Ivy Lane which is situated perfectly in the Galle Fort. Easy access to shops, cafes, restaurants and the fort ramparts (great for watching the sunset). Bed was large and super comfortable. Shower was large with good pressure and hot water. Room was air conditioned. Our room was on the first floor and had a private balcony. Breakfast was substantial but no Sri Lankan options available. Would recommend.

Great location in the centre of town but still quiet at night. Our room was spacious and the shower/bathroom was great. The design of the hotel is beautiful.

The breakfast was average (western food only) and took a long time to be prepared, we were disappointed. The third bed in our family room (in the loft) was uncomfortable and only really appropriate for a child.

Superb location in Galle Fort and a nice quiet location. And good value for money.

Location is perfect for Galle fort.

Its under renovation. A king suite booked for 4 people can sleep 2.5 persons only. Bed on loft area is a small crib. Extra mattress was full of bugs and was some 500 yrs old :-(

The location was excellent, close to all amenities. The property was beautiful, modern and clean. Everything you needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent.

Good size room in character with this Heritage hotel. Comfy space with own courtyard (room 5). Very helpful and friendly staff. Great location within Galle Fort giving easy access to all the areas of interest.

Personal preference - western breakfast options only, would have also liked a Sri Lankan option. We have got used to this during our travels.

The location in Lighthouse Street is fabulous. Price point excellent. Bathroom, also excellent, was a good size. Staff all very nice and obliging.

Unfortunately I was allocated a room of very uncomfortable configuration. There was one huge bed, way too high bed at lower level. And then a lift up narrow, steep steps to a single bed. Not a chair to sit on in the room at all. To access TV it would have been necessary to go up and down those steep steps. Tip : carefully check the room type and details when making a booking. Breakfast could be more professionally prepared with more care taken when cooking eggs. Also "butter" provided was awful. I had to go out and buy my own (Anchor) from Cargills.

This lovely boutique hotel is in a fabulous location in the center of Galle Fort. Perfect for exploring the fort. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was lovely too. Nice breakfast in the courtyard with friendly helpful staff.

This is a very cute, 6 room boutique hotel right in the middle of the Galle Fort area. Both the room and bathroom were small, but very well appointed. The bed was super comfortable and my room (5) also had a very pretty outdoor terrace. The breakfast, which was served in the internal courtyard, was generous. There is some ambient noise during the day from an adjacent-at-the rear cafe, but it wasn’t obtrusive. In any event, the cafe in question closed at 8pm. Housekeeping was slightly haphazard, but that was also no big deal. All up, it was great value and I would happily stay here again.

This is one of the nicest places I’ve stayed in a very long time — super comfortable bed, great shower, pretty back patio to read, breakfast seating area with great coffee and solid food.

Loved the location, friendly staff and breakfast. They even gave us a takeaway breakfast to eat on the train when they realised that we would be missing breakfast on the second day.

The room had so many mosquitos. There were also no mirrors except in the bathroom. The upstairs bed was very uncomfortable.

Second visit to Ivy Lane and it was just as good and comfortable as the first.

房間冷氣漏水嚴重，無法處理。晚上被蚊子咬，房間沒有驅蚊用品。早餐分量不清晰，以致多叫了食物。跟職員需求要咖啡，卻拿來了茶，而好像聽不懂也沒在跟進。職員留意到我們在搬行李下樓梯，卻沒有幫忙。

Location is great

Their card machine had issues and kept on calling us for payment using cash and we agreed but they did not tell is we had to pay by what time. Between sight seeing we were asked to come back and pay before 5PM which was annoying. The room looked good but the fans and ceiling had lot of dust. There were lizards and cockroaches and the reply we got was it won’t harm. There were also multiple power failures and the place does not have a generator back up. The breakfast was just average.

Erinomainen sijainti Gallen vanhassa historiallisessa osassa. Kauniisti remontoitu ja toteutettu hotelli. Hyvä aamiainen. Ystävällinen henkilökunta.

Huoneessa oli safety box jota ei oltu pultattu kiinni mihinkään. Oli pieni ja suht kevyt, olisi helposti lähtenyt jonkun matkaan. Huonosti tilaa matkalaukuillle. Ainoa paikka oli pitää avoimena lattialla (olimme vain yhden yön joten pidimme tavarat laukussa).

Amazing location, room was comfortable, we had a small patio area where we could hang clothes. Bathroom was nice and we had tv and aircon. The breakfast was pleasant with various options.

One of our pillows was stained, and the bedcover had rips in it. The walls are very thin so you can hear everything, however this did not cause any issues for us as it was quiet when we stayed

Great location inside Galle Fort with many shops and restaurants close by. The breakfast was very good and the room was very spacious for three adults, even with a bath! Beautiful colonial building with lots of charm.

The third bed wasn’t as comfortable and was up a steep set of stairs.

We loved the courtyard breakfast setting, it was a lovely way to start the day. This is a little gem of a place and excellent value. We wish we could have stayed a little longer.

From this place, you step straight onto one of the most stunning streets in Galle Fort—Pedlar Street, which is a huge location advantage. The rooms and restaurant feature beautiful colonial-style interiors that are clean, well maintained, and welcoming. The beds are comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. The staff are genuinely friendly and attentive. Compared to many other restaurants in Galle Fort, this place offers fair prices with generous portions, making it great value for money.
