La chambre était très jolie, confortable et spacieuse. Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins, nous avions des céréales, du thé et du café à disposition (sans avoir réservé de petit déjeuner)! Ils nous ont également donné de bons conseils pour continuer à profiter de beaux paysages, sur la suite de notre parcours.

The location is great, only a few minutes off the motorway and yet in the peaceful countryside. Lovely restful garden. Beautiful house. Spacious bedroom with comfy bed, appears to be all recently upgraded as en suite shower room looks new, paintwork and decor all fresh. Lovely hostess, warm and welcoming. A great place to break a long journey if you are touring as it is not far to Athlone which is a major intersection of many different motorways

Breakfast not provided, apart from cereal and coffee, but didn't make any much difference to me.

All was great, there was a small fridge on the landing with milk in it for the cereal, tea and coffee that was provided. Also some handy leaflets for things to do in the area. Bed was really comfy, bathroom was nice and all was very clean. Location was a bit in the middle of nowhere but we knew that - you need a car to get there or taxi. Host was very helpful and chatty, gave us extra water when we ran out of the one that was included.

No public transport and no shops in walking distance so bear this in mind if you don't have a car. No kitchen or food prep facilities included.

I loved everything about this property. Location was great, facilities were great. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. It was just perfect.

Spacious room, bed and pillows super comfy and the room was really toasty and warm at all times. Water tea coffee etc all provided and the cereal was a nice touch. My young daughter woke up hungry and had a bowl of cornflakes so this was a nice touch.

The main negative for me was the smell when we came into the house. I think the owners had a dog in the house so it was a stuffy, musty, animal smell. There were shoes lying at the front door too. Maybe a little basket or container with a lid for shoes- I’d like to walk into somewhere and feel it fresh and clean. First impressions mean a lot but other than that it was ideal for what we needed.

We enjoyed our stay, it's a lovely house in gorgeous rural surroundings. It was easy to find and close proximity to the town by car. The room was nice and comfortable. Fiachra was the perfect host, really welcoming and helpful with recommendations around the area.

Not a negative but if there was an option for a cooked breakfast it would be nice. However, there is cereal, tea/coffee and a fridge with fresh milk for those who like cereal :)

A lovely rural setting off the busy roads. Fiachra greeted and looked after us, giving us great ideas for eating and sightseeing. It is a lovely welcoming home, warm and clean. Loved our stay here.

We were unsure about having the cereal that was offered to us so didn't partake as our confirmation email specifically said our booking did not include breakfast. If that just means no cooked breakfast but the host is making the cereal available that would be helpful to know.

An attractive house, & our large room was clean & well set up with a good ensuite. Our host was charming. Location was quiet, & a pretty outlook over the garden.

Not within walking distance of the town, but that’s a choice we made because of the rural setting.

Quiet and clean

For me it was what I needed for my trip out in the country side. The hosts where both very friendly.

Friendly owner. Easy to contact on phone. Had to make a last minute change to booking and there was no issue with that. Not far from town which was good. Very comfortable beds. Nice to have a tv with decemt channels in the room.too. had shampoo etc in bathtoom which i wasnt expecting. We got a taxi into town in the evening and was only 10 euro so not far or expensive.

While there was cereal, milk and tea bags supplied in the room and the landing area (communal area with fridge and extra cerelas) it would have been nice to have a full breakfast option (and of course pay morre for this) but that wouldnt stop me staying there again as its very comfortable, clean and convienient location.

Hosts were extremely helpful. Room was a great size, clean and comfortable. Lovely to have fresh milk including soy milk which is rarely available.

Clean and good sized room with a comfortable bed in a wonderful guest house in a quite location. Just the one night stay and met all our needs.

I stayed here with my daughter after a procedure in portiuncla hospital. It was so clean and cosy..just what we needed after a very long hard day. We were going to be very late checking in but that was zero problem..extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend a stay.

L accueil, aussi bien en amont que sur place, parking privé pour se garer sur la propriété a un mètre de la porte (appréciable sous les trombes d'eau!), le petit déjeuner en autonomie, petit frigo, la qualité de la chambre( grande, deux lits!) et de la salle de bain, le soin apporté aux détails et à la déco etc... Mention spéciale, j'avais oublié mes lunettes. Dans les 10 minutes j'ai reçu un appel pour me prévenir et nous avons pu revenir rapidement. Top!!

Very charming house and rooms were very spacious and well furnished. We arrived much later than expected and had to leave earlier than expected; the owners were understanding and accommodating.

Hosts were very helpful, and our stay was wonderful. The room was very spacious and clean. Great location between Galway and Dublin to enjoy the countryside and the small towns.

The hosts were nice and provided us with milk and bottled water and cereal for breakfast. They also gave advice on dinner which was very nice and a good place to walk.

We slept with the windows open because it was a warm day but there was quite a bit of road noise throughout the night. If the windows were closed we probably wouldn't have heard it. But if it's warm, you might hear traffic. Otherwise it was a nice location.

The location was easily accessible, plenty of parking, not far from town. The room was immaculate and spacious with a nice sized ensuite toilet and shower. We were supplied with milk, water and cereal for breakfast and it was a nice and peaceful stay.Fiachra also recommended a fantastic restaurant for dinner! I can't recommend the place highly enough and will definitely stay again if I'm near the area!

I can't think of anything negative about the experience, which says a lot in this day and age!

Parking was good. Host was lovely, simple breakfast provided was an extra not expected. Room was spacious and location amazing for links to motorway. Nice rural view despite being very close to motorway. Good value for money.

Bedding could have been better quality. No TV. No mirror in room. Mattress was not the best.

Hosts were lovely and friendly and were always on hand if needed. The accommodation had everything you need. It was very comfortable and quiet. Good cleanliness too.

Not the accommodations fault but a little out of the way if you don’t have a car however we used a local taxi which came quickly and was reasonably priced.

This was a lovely large and bright room. The breakfast supplies were an unexpected bonus. Fiachra was a very welcoming host. It was very quiet and peaceful in the house. The location was perfect.

The Guest House was exactly as expected: clean, tidy and cozy. Fiachra, the owner, is a wonderful and caring person. I forgot my watch in the guest house and Fiachra sent it back to me in Italy in no time. Just great people doing a great job.

EVERYTHING GOOD. I've enjoyed stayng at the Guest House even if a storm caused a black out in the whole area. In spite of the inconvenience (which was in no way the fault of the owners) we were able to enjoy a coffee and leave without problems.
