Reviewed Aug 11, 2025The property is absolutely beautiful. We only booked a one night stay so we didn't get to enjoy it for very long but we loved the place! It is very well equipped and felt like a home away from home. It is in a great location and we could get to Fish Hoek and Simons Town with ease! We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Reviewed May 1, 2025Beautiful modern home. Very clean, we walked around barefoot and our feet stayed clean! The kitchen is properly equipped. Beds are on the harder side, although is very comfortable, clean and warm. This house has one of the best views in the Western Cape!

If we HAD to pick something, the second bedroom could have had a bigger bed but it was such a minor thing. Nothing we didn’t like.

The WiFi could have been better at times, and the geyser seems to be limiting for when 5 people shower within the same hour.

Reviewed Jun 27, 2024Modern Mountainside home was absolutely spectacular. The view from the house is absolutely breath-taking. The house is very well equipped with modern furnishings and built to allow lots of natural light in. Hosts were helpful and lovely people and attended to every need promptly. Overall my family had a wonderful time in the home and the surrounding area of Glencairn and we would definitely return.

Reviewed Mar 28, 2024A beautiful home, with surely some of the most spectacular views of False Bay. Just be aware that access to the property is via fairly steep (33) steps down to the front door. But nothing deters from the beautiful accomodation and spectacular views
While the house has an inverter to accomodate load-shedding to allow for continuous running of wifi, tv and lights it doesn’t maintain constant running of the fridge, causing the ice-maker to melt and re-freeze as a solid block and stop working.

There are a number of steps down to the front door so if you battle with sore knees, this is not the house for you. But the views more than make up for the steps.

Reviewed Oct 25, 2023There is literally everything you would need when on holiday in terms of the household appliances. It’s peaceful, spacious and beautiful. All the rooms have a bathroom and toilet.
There’s no air-corn adjustable for cold and sunny days. It’s further away from the airport and most of the activities.

Reviewed Oct 7, 2023We appreciated the hospitality from Susan and her husband. The view was spectacular, an ensure in every bedroom was a lovely surprise. And the open plan set up had a view to die for and it was convenient to talk with the family. All the facilities,for example bedding to kitchen appliances, was clean, beautiful, comfortable, and great to use. I would recommend this place to anybody
