Everything was very good. A spacious and well maintained facility with good facilities and equipment. There was nothing missing. A big plus was the fact that all the immediately needed items like shampoo, shower gel, toilet papers, kitchen paper, plastic waste bags, washing machine soap, dish washer soap etc. and all the cleaning equipment were available at the property and did not have to buy. This is very convenient when you visit for only a few days and there is no need to go looking for a super market to buy the necessary immediately in a place you did not visit before and specially on late arrivals. There were some handicaps relevant to the instructions to get in, entry to the garage and these relevant to the timing and how detailed they were, but it was all sorted relatively easy. Information and feedback were shared with the Owners and these little, but helpful things (and certain others) will improve, I am certain. The communication with the Owners was good and they were very perceptive in discussing certain details. The property is really good and if a few small details are improved as well, then an already excellent property will be just perfect.
I would prefer if more detailed information about the property were shared well before arrival. These are relevant to the entry details, the garage access and other functions of the house. Certain of these need to be more visible and more detailed. It is really a high end house, with excellent facilities, so if more details are shared well in advance then all will be perfect.
From the moment we arrived, our experience was anything but ordinary – starting with a small mix-up on our part! We mistakenly tried to open the wrong door at the address (10 instead of 10A), but a quick message to the host sorted it all out. He was incredibly prompt and friendly in guiding us to the correct entrance. And once we stepped inside the villa, we were absolutely speechless. The space was nothing short of spectacular – vast, cozy, and full of character. The entrance area alone made a great first impression – it featured a huge wardrobe divided into six sections, giving each of us our own designated space for our winter clothes and shoes. It was so convenient to have a place for everything, especially in Tromsø where winter gear is essential! The living area, complete with a modern kitchen and a spacious terrace, was perfect for relaxing. Although we couldn’t use the fireplace, it added a wonderful touch to the atmosphere. The high-tech kitchen appliances took a little getting used to, but once we figured them out, it was a breeze. And let's not forget the lighting system – we had a bit of fun experimenting with the switches, but it was worth it once we got the hang of it! There was also a fantastic bonus: a separate TV room with an enormous screen – perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring Tromsø. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and though the mattresses were on the softer side, I have to say, I haven't slept so soundly in a long time. The master bedroom featured a massive walk-in closet and a bathroom with both a bathtub and a shower – a real luxury. There was one quirky thing though: the lights in the bathroom kept turning off on their own, and despite our best efforts, we never quite figured out how to keep them on. The entrance area alone made a great first impression – it featured a huge wardrobe divided into six sections, giving each of us our own designated space for our winter clothes and shoes.
The only downside to our stay was a bit of noise from a small apartment in the building. In the room with the second double bed, the walls were a bit thin, and we could hear someone chatting or on the phone at night – and on our final night, those conversations lasted until the morning. A small inconvenience in an otherwise wonderful stay. A suggestion for future guests: It might be helpful to provide a little more guidance on how things work around the villa. A simple manual or a small folder with instructions for the appliances, the lighting system, TV-room (sound system, has several remote controls), how to use the fireplace (if possible), and even the waste disposal would be a great addition. This would make the stay even smoother for those who may not be familiar with high-tech setups.
Perfect and luxury!I love the flos sky garden light
Appliance are too advance to operating
The owner was very responsive to any enquiries we sent (such as where we could park a hire car) always replying quickly to any queries we had. Having access to a garage in snowy, icy weather was such a benefit. Really appreciated. The local snow ploughs clear most of the road up to the property regularly as well. The property is spacious and very well appointed. The photos are very accurate. The balcony would be wonderful in summer and if the weather had been a little kinder and the aurora was visible it would have been a perfect location to enjoy watching it from. We ended up cooking most days and having such good quality pans and knives really makes a difference. Having fresh coffee available for the coffee filter and some tea bags was very much appreciated.
The switches for the lighting system took a little bit of getting used to & having a little more information about how to use some of the appliances would be helpful. A couple of kitchen items, such a sieve or colander and a few more wooden spoons/non stick cooking utensils would be a good addition to what is already there.
Absolutely premium villa, with a very spacious living and high-end appliances. The common area is perfect for hanging out with a group of friends, and the existing "infrastructure" is good for cooking meals at home as well. The villa is positioned in a very nice neighborhood, with other beautiful houses around and well connected to the city center. There is a bus station right around the corner, and a full walk to downtown takes only 25 minutes (including going through deep snow :D).
Location near central area in Tromso, has a deck to see the Northern lights.
Soundproofing the place, parking area.
Truly a pearl of a property. The property has very (!) high standards and it was truly lovely to stay there for the weekend. The hosts were also welcoming and nice.
There is nothing negative to report - one of the better properties on the market for sure.
The house is utterly amazing. It really has the wow factor, and it's spacious, hi-tech, and just a short walk from the town centre. There's plenty of room to relax outside on the veranda if you are lucky enough, as we were, to have beautiful weather whilst in Tromsø.
There wasn't anything we didn't like, other than having to leave at the end of our stay.
easy
cleanliness
When my father and I arrived at the villa, we thought it would be our most satisfying place of our entire trip in Tromso. It can be seen from every detail that the host is a person with great taste in life. Which makes me feel very relieved and satisfied. The bedrooms are on the first floor, the master bedroom has an independent bathroom, which is my favorite area in the house. Every morning and evening, I use the Bluetooth player to play jazz music, then take a shower and prepare everything before go out and before bed. Second floor is living room, kitchen and separate movie room, which greatly meets the residents' pursuit of private space, and you can get all the configurations you need in the kitchen here. They provide Rituals and Tigi for shower products, which are the brands that I've been using all the time.. I have to say, even till now, I still miss this warm, cozy and peaceful place. We don’t even have the idea of going out.Just want to stay quietly in the house ,with a cup of coffee, watch YouTube, and spend the quiet day.
