The Veterinary @ Kildare Village

Die Unterkunft ist perfekt ausgerüstet, es hat alles was man braucht. vom Toaster, über Brot im Tiefkühler bis zur Waschmaschine ist alles vorhanden. Vermieter ist sehr nett und freundlich, Kommunikation war unkompliziert.

It was great to have a kitchen and sitting area in our accommodation so close to Kildare. There is a large Tesco next door and the Kildare Village (Brand Outlet) was a few hundred meters. The walk into the town centre was pleasant. Ros provided some breakfast items and snacks which was thoughtful. There were also kitchen basics like oil and salt among other things. The off street parking was advantageous as was the washing machine. The bed was comfortable. The garden is pretty and seating is available if the weather is good.

The bathroom did not have adequate ventilation and smelt musty, we opened the window to assist with this. There was also not much space for toiletries, clothes or towels due to no shower screen and ornaments. A microwave would have been beneficial. I would have preferred the place to be a bit cleaner.

Everything was perfect.

There was a lot of space and a fully equipped kitchen and living room with a giant Tesco less than a five minute walk away. I only stayed one night and was on foot but I managed to explore all of Kildare from this one location. There was more than enough to see in two days of visiting. The Tourist info centre was very helpful, as were the staff and volunteers at St. Brigid's roundtower and Cathedral.

I wouldn't say I didn't like it, but the big luxury brand outlet centre (Kildare Village?) felt incongruous. People gotta live, though, I guess. I've never understood the need for high-end brands, so I'm not the person to ask.

Very good accomodation so comfy feels like home to be, if you see the lovely portrait reminds the owner is an pet lover🐶❤️ so clean we enjoy it. Next time we go again to kildare will book again☺️

The appartment was nice and tidy

Uhmm well nothing really to complain about actually!

It was comfortable, clean and homely. Convenient for the town and shopping village also we visited the Irish National Stud and Shackleton museum.

It was so close to town center, just straight down the road. And Kildare Village is literally a 10 minute walk, as well. Lovely home away from home atmosphere. Left us milk and butter and all the lil bits..Cute and quirky decorations ..dogs and gorgeous garden.

Would have loved a lil place outside to sit that wasn't right next to shed with the bins..such gorgeous garden but I understand that privacy was important to as this is their home connected to it.

The location was perfect! It felt like I was at home..

The property owner did not give me information on how to access the property. I traveled alone after recently completing cancer treatment to an unfamiliar foreign country and was left stranded when there were no other rooms available in town. This treatment of your guests is insufferable

Lovely apartment

Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war sehr unkompliziert. Schlafzimmer war sehr gemütlich. Habe mich an der Lage sehr sicher gefühlt. Ruhige Umgebung.

Etwas mehr und bessere Küchenausstattung (eine weitere gute Pfanne, etwas bessere Messer)

Privacy, quiet, very well equipped, the host Ros is friendly, responds very quickly to messages, the place has an excellent location, is very comfortable and well equipped, and you feel right at home.

Location was perfect as we wanted to be close to Kildare Village; liked having the privacy of our own apartment which was very clean and very cosy

Self-catering. Homemade bread, tea and coffee. The fridge was stocked with fresh milk, butter, marmalade and jams. Plenty of cereal. There was a plentiful supply of a variety of snacks. Good cooking facilities. Very clean bathroom with shower well stocked with clean towels and toiletries. Spotless toilet. Location was great and very quiet. More than adequate safe packing available. Very short distance from shopping centres and restaurants Hostess was very friendly and went out of her way to make us feel at home. True Irish Hospitality. We will certainly be back again in a few months’ time.

A microwave oven would be a great addition to the kitchen.

Very nice owners left complimentary snacks and bread for us, cute dog outside keeping a eye on us, amazing location, very cozy, not crammed, very cute decor, no disturbances, amazing place to stay overall, 10/10

A homely setting that makes you smile. Deceptively comfortable and full of little ornaments, books and characters which make you giggle, reminisce, and feel calm. Little details set this home apparent from many others. Highly recommend. We loved our stay here.

There was a glitch with hot water coming through for the shower

The home comforts provided went above and beyond our expectations. From snacks to bread for toast, several different varieties of coffee and tea and fresh milk it was amazing! The property is very spacious and decorated lovely. There was board games and cards for a wholesome evening in, and lots of tips for local activities in the area.

The location was exceptional, the centre of everything. 5 minutes away from Kildare village and a short drive to the rest of the places people would like to travel too. ( Irish National Stud, whitewater shopping centre). The whole property was cleaned top to bottom and the comfiest felt like you were at home. Extra goodies when you go into the kitchen area, and every facility you would need.

The Veterinary is a real home away from home! Very clean, well appointed and so cozy. The bed was so comfortable. The location is perfect for visiting Kildare Village Outlets and walking distance to the centre of town and a grocery store.

I couldnt fault the place it was so clean and the bed was amazing . There like touches was very thoughtful.

Convenient

Location I'd great if wanting to go shopping in outlet village or on way to Dublin. Whole apartment to yourself adjoining the hosts house and is very private area and quite. Really is whoke apartment with sitting room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom could be ideal for a base for a week. Ros the host is lovely lady and goes above and beyond with treats and notes to ensure you have great stay.

Host was lovely and the place was perfect. Everything a couple needed for a shopping trip in Kildare. The complimentary cereal/milk/bread/butter was a lovely touch.

The bathroom is dated and needs upgrading to make it more comfortable to use. The electric shower is open therefore the sink area and floor can get wet, which can be dangerous for the next user as the floor is wet and location of the sink is near the open shower.

Lovely little apartment, perfect size for a couple with everything you could need. Loved the decor & animal (and dog!) themed pictures, and especially the elephant foot stool! Bed was super comfy. The property was perfectly located as a stop over after getting off the ferry and before traveling onward to West Cork in the morning. Ros was helpful and left a lovely selection of items for breakfast and some treats too. She was quick to respond and communicative as required. Everything was very clean.

A lower tog duvet would be welcome at this time of year, especially as bedroom ventilation was difficult due to passing traffic noise.

We loved the home from home feeling, the milk and bread etc. being available was lovely. It’s a cosy, comfortable stay. The bed was so comfortable and the linens are gorgeous. The gardens are wonderful, we loved the place.

Really nice touches in the apartment! Breakfast supplies left and milk! Great when you arrive in the evening late and takes the pressure of finding a shop.
