Reviewed Aug 4, 2026The house is within easy walking distance of the town, which was handy, and it comfortably sleeps 7 with 3 toilets which would be practical for a group or family. The back garden is a real highlight; it would have been lovely to sit out with a glass of wine if the weather had cooperated. Host responded promptly to issues - Overall: a solid option for families needing space, but the housekeeping and welcome details need attention.
A few things did disappoint us. Unlike other properties we've stayed in around the area recently, there wasn't so much as a carton of milk left for us on arrival ( a small welcome touch that was missed ). The bins hadn't been emptied (possibly not due for collection), so there was rubbish strewn across the back garden, which wasn't a pleasant sight. To be honest, I also would not have felt entirely comfortable or safe staying here alone, though as a family group it worked well enough.

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026Lovely house 5 mins walk from town with pubs and shops. Spacious kitchen and enclosed back garden with loads of seating, and bbq.
No recycling facility unfortunately so bin got a bit full but host did say there was nearby facilities to bring stuff to.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2025The property is a huge house with plenty of communal space . It had everything you need for a self catering holiday. It is set within the village of Moville with ample things to do in the area. Check-in was faultless and great communication . I would highly recommend this property to anyone coming to Donegal. Special mention to Diane who cleaned the house meticulously and went out of her way to help.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2025Lovely house, very well equipped, beautiful garden. Niamh was so helpful texting during the week to check everything was ok. Good location, short walk to village to shops/restaurants, also shop across from entrance of estate for any essentials. Short drive to some lovely beaches.
Just something to get aware of - nothing to do with house - but Moville is quite hilly town and there is a steep hill up the estate to the house, so anyone with limited mobility might struggle.

Reviewed Jul 5, 2025Peaceful location but within easy walking distance of the town. The house was comfortable and the kitchen/cooking facilities were great. There was plenty of space for 7 guests and having the use of 3 WCs was ideal. We also made good use of the lovely garden when the weather was fine.
