Todo estuvo excelente, Cristina es una muy buena anfitriona, amable, y nos trató súper bien. Su comida es muy rica, los gatos, la perrita Suzy, todo estuvo excelente! Definitivamente volveremos!

Se puede usar la sala y también una enorme piscina super limpia. Desayuno hecho con mucho amor. Ubicación perfecta en un barrio muy tranquilo y seguro, sin ruido. Un descanso increíblemente placentero. Parking muy seguro justo frente a la casa.

The location was confusing as there is another property of the same name in Puerto Plata while this one is in Sosua. GPS brought us to the one in Puerto Plata which is 30 minutes drive away from.this one in Sosua.

Do dyspozycji gości jest udostępniona właściwie całość budynku oprócz kuchni, pralni i przestrzeni prywatnych. Na miejscu są gry, w oknach moskitiery, można zamówić pranie, klimatyzacja jest dodatkowo płatna (ale właściwie nie ma potrzeby jej stosowania). To co jest największą wartością to Cristina i jej gościnność. Codziennie rano podaje wspaniałe, domowe śniadanie z chlebem i ciastem własnej roboty. Jest bardzo pomocna i świetnie doradza atrakcje w pobliżu, warto pytać jej o zdanie i podążać za jej poleceniami.

La plage était à quelques minutes à pied, c'etait un bel avantage. Ambiance familiale, gentillesse et bons conseils étaient au rendez-vous. Ce fut notre voyage familiale le plus mémorable dans la magnifique région de Puerto Plata.

Pas de service auto. On doit payer 500 pesos à un taxi local pour tout déplacement car 3km du centre ville. Heureusement que j'aime la marche à pied.

Reviewed Mar 1, 2025We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is beautiful, and Cristina is an amazing host who speaks Italian, English and Spanish. She made us feel at home right away. She cooks delicious fresh cakes every day for breakfast and, as vegetarians, we felt very well taken care of, with plenty of choices. Our room and the shared spaces, including the pool, were spotless. Another feature we truly appreciated was the presence of a hot/cool water dispenser, as we try our best to avoid buying bottled water. Last but not least, we loved the company of Cristina's sweet dogs and cats. Thank you, Cristina!

The accommodations uphold a superior standard of hygiene, with consistent hot water supply and strong water pressure in the shower. The Wi-Fi connectivity operates seamlessly. The proprietor, a skilled chef from Italy, elevates the experience. Complimentary breakfast is provided, while an optional dinner incurring an additional cost is available; a choice I enthusiastically embraced given the chef's remarkable culinary prowess – a daily indulgence I would gladly opt for. The air conditioning entails supplementary charges for both daytime and nighttime usage, yet its performance is notably efficient. The property's advantageous proximity to key attractions like Restaurante Maria (requiring a day pass) and the captivating Santa Fe (accessible from 11am onwards with a day pass) is noteworthy. A brief commute to Alicia Beach, complete with a waterfront dining establishment, is conveniently feasible. Without reservation, I wholeheartedly recommend selecting this establishment for accommodation, and I anticipate a return visit.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2023We loved Christina's food and hospitality. She is wonderful! We felt very safe and relaxed there, and it was quiet. The pool was fantastic. It was an easy walk to the neighboring hotel for lunch or coffee (it is immediately next door and has breakfast, lunch and dinner, but we only every had lunch or drinks there sometimes), and to a couple of other restaurants (about a 15-ish minute walk). Christina had good recommendations for drivers, which I think you need regardless of where you stay in Sosua or Cabarete. If you are wanting a relaxing, peaceful home-base while you go out for the beach or exploring, then I highly recommend this.
The local beach had very strong waves and was not safe for kids to swim in, in my opinion. We did go there and enjoyed the sunset and playing in the sand. You can easily walk there. As for taking kids for a swim, I recommend taking a taxi to Sosua beach, which was an affordable 5-10 minute ride.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2022Christina's B&B was clean and affordable. The accommodation is exactly what you would expect staying at a B&B but the best part of our stay was Christina! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Christina (+pet family Suzy^_^) Her "open door" style of hosting her guests is exactly what will have us come back! We absolutely will recommend her place to our friends and family!
Not Christina's fault but my husband is vegan so he didn't get a chance to enjoy breakfast as much as I did :-) Christina's omelets and cakes are delicious by the way!
