Reviewed Sep 14, 2026The hotel is located directly at the bus station of Nájera. It has an elevator. The receptionist was friendly. The hotel has a café on the ground floor.
Check-in time was 14:00h. We made a request for check-in 13:00h, which was approved positively (via booking.com message system(. But then, when we arrived at 13:00h, nobody was there to proceed the check-in. Counter was closed. So we asked at the café. The staff told us, check-in not before 14:00. Further the towels were not complete - had to ask for a 2nd towel. There were only 1 electrical socket for 2 beds - and even that one was unsafe.

Check in mal organizado con colas enormes, un enchufe en toda la habitación, parecía vieja y mal cuidada, el precio era elevado para esa habitación... tornillos sobresalían de la pared, peligroso para un niño.. cama pequeña para una pareja y un niño. Lo siento no volveré

This had been a splendid hotel but was showing its age. For example the new double bed looked lost in the carved wood slot for a super king. We had a bath, but no plug. The shower lead was broken. The staff took ages with check in. The food was tasty and sensibly portioned but over priced.

When I arrived the door was locked and when I called the number on sign no one answered. I tried twice. When someone on the street showed me that bar entrance I asked the receptionist why he didn’t answer and he said he was checking someone in. I think he could have asked me to hold or let me know he heard it. Thank goodness for kindness of strangers.

La primera habitación que nos dieron era inutilizable: sin luz (ni la principal ni las lámparas de las mesillas) y sin ventilador. Avisamos en recepción y, tras 20 minutos de espera porque no localizaban al encargado, nos "solucionaron" el problema dándonos una habitación todavía peor: una lámpara de pared rota y desprendiéndose de la pared justo encima de la cama —un peligro real para cualquiera que duerma ahí—, sin toallas, con la ducha descontrolada empapando todo el baño, y el techo con humedad y pintura desprendiéndose mientras te duchabas. Pedimos toallas y hablar con el encargado, y la respuesta fue que "estaba reunido". Ni una solución, ni una disculpa, nada. Y esto antes de siquiera pasar la noche. Enviamos una reclamación formal al hotel explicando todo esto y, como era de esperar, silencio absoluto. Ni respuesta ni intención de arreglarlo. Pagar 90€ por esto es una tomadura de pelo. Cero mantenimiento, cero atención al cliente, cero seguridad. No os arriesguéis a hospedaros aquí.

Frühstück: besteht aus der Auswahl an Sandwiches wie in jeder spanischen Bar, nur dass diese dort besser sind. Eine gammlige Scheibe Schinken zwischen einfachem Baguette. Bedienung konnte kein Englisch und verstand nicht mal das Wort Breakfast, obwohl unzählige englischsprechende Pilger dort übernachten. Erst als ich wütend und lauter wurde, kam eine Erklärung, dass ich "von allem auswählen kann". Für das Geld wäre ich besser in eine Bar oder Panaderia gegangen.

It did not feel like a hotel. Reception was not manned most of the time i walked past. The room was very spartan and did not have any teas or coffee making r equipment nor supplies. No fridge either. Maybe i was expecting a bit much.

Kein dedizierter Parkplatz für Hotelgäste. Man muß hoffen vor dem Hotel oder in Hotelnähe eine Parkplatz zu bekommen. Es gibt keine Zimmer mit Klimaanlage. WLAN angeblich vorhanden, hat aber während meines Aufenthaltes nicht funktioniert.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Very easy going hotel. Had a small single room, was pleasant, not too hot, despite 37C outside. No air condition needed. Checkout smooth, just drop the card into a basket. Attention: if you come by car, on Thursday there is a market outside next to the hotel. Do NOT park around the hotel (there are signs telling you in spanish) in the night before.

Lo que no me gustó es que en primer lugar no tenía aíre acondicionado. , tampoco tenía jabón para lavarse las manos.

Il Wi-Fi non funzionava nella mia stanza e non c'era aria condizionata. FAceva caldo ed ho aperto le finestre ma sono entrati moschini a decine. Assenza di personale alla reception e colazione nel ristorante al pian terreno piuttosto deludente. Locale che potrebbe essere ok per pellegrini ma sicuramente non da scegliere per un uso "Business"

Reviewed Jun 5, 2026Resulta difícil destacar aspectos positivos cuando la estancia estuvo marcada por problemas de agua caliente, deficiencias en el Wi-Fi, ruido nocturno, olor persistente a combustible y ausencia de respuesta por parte del establecimiento ante las incidencias comunicadas.
Mi experiencia estuvo muy por debajo de lo esperado. A mi llegada no había agua caliente debido a una avería en la caldera, lo que me impidió ducharme durante más de 24 horas. La conexión Wi-Fi en la habitación 101 era prácticamente inutilizable para trabajar, obligándome a utilizar mis propios datos móviles. Durante varias noches hubo continuos portazos, entradas y salidas de personas y ruido en habitaciones cercanas que dificultaron seriamente el descanso. Lo más preocupante fue el intenso olor a combustible o gasóleo presente en distintas zonas del hotel. Durante una comida que organicé en el restaurante del establecimiento con siete personas invitadas por mí, dos de ellas abandonaron el local debido a la intensidad del olor. Horas después seguía siendo perceptible en pasillos y zonas comunes. La situación llegó a motivar una comprobación por parte de la Policía Local. Todas estas incidencias fueron comunicadas tanto al hotel como a través de Booking, sin recibir respuesta efectiva ni soluciones satisfactorias. Finalmente me vi obligado a presentar una reclamación formal ante la Administración turística de La Rioja.

Haciendo el Camino de Santiago y después de una dura travesía de 25 km, al llegar, nos dicen que no nos podemos alojar porque fueron las fiestas del pueblo y tienen un problema con la luz. No funciona nada. Pero..tampoco nos ayudan a buscar otro sitio...solo un :"búscate la vuda". Y encima se pusieron muy desagradables.
Había reservado por Booking y les pedí que resolvieran para no hacer efectivo el pago. Su respuesta fue que si me cobraban, que volviese por allí para arreglarlo que ellos (con chulería):" no se iban a ir de allí, que no tenían ruedas". Indignan. Así que tuvimos que ponernosxa buscar como locos un hospedaje para esa noche y pagar casi el doble. Ahí que..mucho cuidado si reservas en ese hotel. Nunca sabré si era una excusa o fue cierto. Pero lo que tengo claro es que nos dejaron en la calle.

Sans autre alternative de logement sur mon chemin vers Compostelle, j'ai gardé ma réservation. Donc pas d'électricité, pas de wi-fi, pas d'eau chaude. Malgré tous ces désagréments, j'ai du payer le prix fort. Aucun geste commercial.

Als ich am 8.5.26 gegen 14.30 Uhr vom Pilgerweg ins Hotel kam, wurde mir mitgeteilt, daß auf Grund eines Defektes das Haus keinen keinen Strom hat, also keine ybeleuchtung, kein warmes Wasser, keinen Fahrstuhl, keine Möglichkeit das Handy aufzuladen ...meine Bitte, mir ein anderes Hotel zu versorgen wurde abgelehnt. Ich könnte kostenfrei stornieren oder ein Zimmer im Hotel zum vollen Preis nehmen. Mir blieb gar nichts anderes übrig als in diesem Hotel zu bleiben. Mein Gepäck war dorthin geliefert worden und wurde auch dort am nächsten Morgen wieder abgeholt. Meine Bitte um eine Notbeleuchtung für die Dunkelheit wurde abgelehnt mit dem Hinweis, da müsste ich mir schon selbst eine Beleuchtung kaufen..Auch die Bereitstellung einer Powerbank zum Aufladen des Handys wurde abgelehnt. Ich wollte mich mit Booking in Verbindung setzen, da wurde mir gesagt, dass Booking informiert ist. Ich wurde darauf hingewiesen, dass ich ja am gleichen Tag -.8.5.26 - 11.30 Uhr eine Email mit einer entspre- Chancen Info erhalten hätte. Also meine Wegstrecke waren an diesem Tag ca. 28 km bei ca. 25 Grad C. Ich habe den Eindruck dieses Hotel hat nicht verstanden, wer Auftraggeber und Auftragnehmer ist was deren Pflichten sind. . . Ich hoffe, daß mir Booking eine Entschädigung gewährt. The entire stay! The hotel STILL has NO HOT WATER! I read reviews from several days ago that complained of no hot water. There were LOTS of signs at the registration desk, but NONE explained there was NO HOT WATER. When the guy checked us in, he never mentioned no hot water OR NO WIFI IN THE ROOMS! When I went to complain about the hot water, the guy tried to say they were waiting on the problem to be fixed. When I showed the guy the previous reviews mentioning NO HOT WATER, he tried to tell me it was fixed, and then it was out again. And his reason for not mentioning it at check in was because he wasn't sure when the issue would be fixed...ON A SUNDAY? I don't appreciate being lied to and taken advantage of. Because I had to sit in the small lobby to use the WIFI, since it disconnected when you got to the floor with rooms, I watched the guy check in several people and never mentioned NO HOT WATER. The people would eventually come to complain and the guy gave several versions of what was happening. They refused to compensate me or refund part of the room price. He also said the notice on Booking.com never said there was WIFI in the rooms, just WIFI and he said there was Wi-Fi in the lobby. Horrible experience. No ability for a hot or even warm shower after a long day of walking. No Wi-Fi in the rooms. Do yourself a favor and just stay somewhere else!

Reviewed May 28, 2026Le mobilier est un peu désuet et la chambre sent l'humidité. Les chambres sont très mal insonorisées et je n'ai jamais eu d'eau chaude. La propreté laissait a désirer un peu également.

Check in molt lent i mala gestió del mateix. Vam fer cua per fer el checkin uns 30 minuts i darrera nostre hi havia molta gent més. Un hotel d’aquestes dimensions no pot fer l’entrada de tothom a l’hora. Pel que fa al lavabo s’haurien de retirar o substituir les cortines de la dutxa doncs no son higièniques.
