También tuve un día de dolor de estomago y me preparó una infusión que me fue muy bien. También un dia nos preparó un cuscus buenísimo. A parte, la ubicación era inmejorable para pasar unos días.

Wie alle Unterkünfte in diesen Preislagen ist es trotz elektrischen Licht ziemlich dunkel. Aber kein Problem: Stirn-oder Taschenlampe zum lesen im Bett mirnehmen!

Lack of communication between the owner, manager (Mohammed) and the person who answered the phone number listed in booking.com. Reviewed Apr 13, 2026L'accueil de Fatima était vraient très chaleureux gentil, elle blouson à aidé pour le parking et heureusement ! la décoration est jolie et la literie est confortable. Nous avons apprécié les petits déjeuners variés et copieux, et l'emplacement est parfait pour découvrir la médina.
L'absence d'une porte séparant les sanitaires de la chambre devient vite problématique pour un séjour de plusieurs nuits, en particulier pour une chambre familiale. Il y a beaucoup de chats, c'est sympa au début mais il y a des odeurs douteuses à l'entrée et les miaulements des chatons qui sont sur le toit ouvert c'est un peu pénible.

Accoglienza terribile. Al nostro arrivo non c'era nessuno ed abbiamo dovuto aspettare 20 minuti prima che arrivasse una persona ad aprire. L'ingresso è fatiscente. La camera pure. Letti appoggiati su pancali verniciati. Muri logori. Ma la cosa peggiore è che la camera e soprattutto il bagno erano sporchi. Non erano stati puliti. Nel cestino del bagno c'era carta igienica sporca di feci dei precedenti inquilini. Lo abbiamo segnalato al ragazzo che gestiva la struttura il giorno seguente e lui ha incolpato la ragazza che doveva pulire. Dopo aver segnalato via messaggio l'episodio al proprietario della struttura questo ha segnalato a booking che noi non ci siamo presentati il giorno precedente e ci ha invitato a lasciare la struttura anche se avevamo ancora una notte prenotata. Perciò abbiamo prenotato in un altro Riad, ma la cosa peggiore è che non vuole neanche rimborsarci la notte pagata e non fruita. Spero che booking intervenga. Esperienza terribile, evitate questa struttura!

Reviewed Apr 3, 2026Mohammad was the highlight of our stay. Such a kind guy. He gave us plenty of advice on how to explore the city. We had an early flight and he woke up at 5AM with us to prepare breakfast and helped us carry our luggage to the taxi. The Riyad is well located in the Medina.

Reviewed Apr 1, 2026El Dar està molt bé, petit i molt familiar. Molt ben situat al costat mateix de la porta blava. El Mohamed ha estat un amfitrió excel·lent, molt atent i amb un anglès molt bo. L'esmorzar més que correcte. En fi, una estada de 3 dies genial. Si mai tornem a Fez ho farem al Dar Lalla Mama!!
L'únic que m'hauria agradat més és que el bany tingués porta, però entenc que com que no té ventilació ha d'estar obert.

Please note that the taxi will drop you off and you will have to walk a bit to reach the guesthouse, as it is in the old medina. It's not a long walk, though, and doable with luggage. Hamid was extremely helpful and made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. The room I stayed in was comfortable and clean and was a great value.

The place is in a very good location in the Medina - both close to the central part, but also easily reachable with Google maps and near taxi stands. Also amazing food places around (right across the street). The breakfast and the tea we had when we arrived were outstanding - this was next level hospitality. Very very delicious homemade breakfast by a very nice lady. The place is clean, very comfortable beds, authentic atmosphere. The value for money is unbelievable. This is our best stay in Morroco and we couldn't recommend more! Thank you Mohammed!

Il nous a donné d’excellents conseils et a tout fait pour que notre passage, même d’une seule nuit, soit inoubliable. Il s’est levé à 2h du matin pour nous préparer un petit-déjeuner avant notre départ et nous accompagner jusqu’à notre taxi — un geste qui montre tout le soin qu’il apporte à ses hôtes. Le Riad est calme, très propre, plein de charme et idéalement situé pour découvrir Fès. Tout était parfait du début à la fin. Je recommande ce Riad sans hésiter ! Si je retourne à Fès, j’y reviendrai avec grand plaisir. 🌸

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Hemos viajado 3 amigos y no tenemos palabras suficientes para agradecer el buen trato y la amabilidad de Mohamed, ya que en todo momento nos ha ayudado en todo lo que hemos necesitado y pendiente de que no nos faltara nada. La ubicación es perfecta, a tan solo 1 minuto de la puerta azul, y las instalaciones del Riad son sencillas pero tienen lo suficiente para tener una estancia perfecta. Sin duda lo recomendamos y volveremos seguro. El desayuno espectacular, abundante, muy bueno y hecho con muchísimo cariño.
No tengo ninguna queja.

Reviewed Dec 13, 2025La ubicación y el trato de Mohamed, siempre dispuesto a ayudarnos, nos preparó varios días el desayuno mucho antes del horario establecido. Nos cambió también de habitación ya que no funcionaba la bomba de calor.
En la habitación inicial que reservamos no funcionaba la bomba de calor y hacía bastante frío. El baño estaba fuera de la habitación (no lo reflejaba en el anuncio), no estaba precisamente muy limpio y tenía una rendrija en la puerta lo bastante grande como para que se metieran los gatos, que se movían con bastante liertad por el alojamiento. El wifi no funcionó durante la estancia. Las camas eran muy duras.

Reviewed Nov 23, 2025Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au riad. L’hôte Mohamed a été très accueillant : il nous a reçus avec du thé à notre arrivée et nous a aidés à porter nos bagages. Le riad est très calme, situé dans une ruelle paisible, tout en étant très proche de Bab Boujloud et à proximité de tous les monuments historiques, ce qui est très pratique pour visiter Fès. Le petit-déjeuner était varié et délicieux. La chambre était très propre et confortable. Nous recommandons vivement ce riad, et si nous revenons à Fès incha’Allah, nous choisirons le même riad sans hésiter !

Reviewed Nov 3, 2025Nuestra estancia en el Dar ha sido más que excelente. Mohamed nos atendió de maravilla, siempre pendiente de nosotros en todo momento. Incluso nos preparó el desayuno antes de la hora habitual porque teníamos una excursión muy temprano — todo un detalle! La ubicación es inmejorable, a tan solo un minuto de la Puerta Azul, lo que hace que sea perfecto para descubrir Fez a pie. Además, no podemos dejar de mencionar a Nagita, su preciosa gata, que es un amor y nos acompañó durante toda la estancia, haciéndola aún más especial. Sin duda, creemos que no podríamos haber escogido un mejor alojamiento para conocer esta increíble ciudad. ¡Volveremos 100%!

The house is a traditional and older house with a lot of charm. An older house means a bit of DIY and noise, which I found perfectly acceptable, it also added to the traditional charm so I liked it. The hosts also actively ask for feedback, and implement it immediately. It was modernized a bit with an airconditioning, which was working excellently. The bed was very comfy to me.

Noi avevamo prenotato delle escursioni con orario di partenza molto presto al mattino. Mohamed e la cuoca, per due giorni di seguito, sono venuti a prepararci la colazione, pur di non farci uscire senza aver mangiato. Questa è un’attenzione nei confronti del cliente che viene veramente apprezzata! Bravi ragazzi! La struttura si trova dentro la medina e, come tale, è molto datata. Questi ragazzi fanno un grande lavoro per conservare la struttura nella sua originalità. Qui non troverete l’albergo di lusso, ma il vero e autentico Dar marocchino.

In jeder großen Stadt ist die Nähe des Kommerziellen gegeben. Wenn man damit rechnet, wird man nicht enttäuscht.

Purtroppo, al nostro arrivo abbiamo scoperto che il bagno era esterno, anche se vicinissimo alla camera e non era pulitissimo , sopratutto il wc.

It was a total NIGHTMARE! Arriving the place is in a little dark alley and this lack og light continues inside. The place is old and in bad conditions (stay away from terrace, is dangerous!), dirty and full of stray cats, but the worst is just to come...the room is dark and full of mold, the smell inside was unsustainable, the bad was USED and pillows smelled of sweat. Toilet was dirty, without soap and paper and inside...imagine what was inside the wc... But again this is not the worst, as we noticed the guy we want to go away he started stood in front of the door to prevent us from leaving and I've to literally push him away to run outside and ask for help... Obviously they didn't respond to my free cancellation request STAY AWAY - AVOID - RUN

Reviewed Apr 17, 2025My friends and I spent just two nights in the riad and since the beginning we were extremely welcome. The room where we stayed was amazing, it was big and clean, and we also had our private bathroom. The first day we arrived early in the morning and the host prepared for us an amazing breakfast, even if it was not included for that day. In addition, the next days he insisted on giving us breakfast even if it was before the established hour since we had to leave early for the tours. One night we also had dinner in the riad and it was amazing. Fatima (the cook) prepared a delicious cous cous with chicken and vegetables (one of the best that we ate during our trip), but you can choose also from other typical Moroccan dishes and they will be for sure amazing. The host is really friendly and helped us with everything: he suggested us a local restaurant to have dinner, organised a transfer to the airport and let us wait for the taxi at the riad even if we had already checked out the morning before. Moreover he always made sure that we were safe during our trips and tours of the city. So to sum up the whole experience was very positive and on top of that the price was appropriate.

The location was very strategically situated in the heart of the old Medina of Fès. Highly recommended without hesitation!
