Sundance Country Lodge B&B

The location was excellent for a home base for exploring Jasper, Hinton and Edmonton. It is tucked away on a property that is easy to access from the main road without issues with GPS. Our host provided all sorts of different recommendations and places to visit as well as being easy to talk to and ask questions.

Ett helt fantastiskt ställe! Svårt innan att riktigt fatta att det kunde vara så bra - långt över våra förväntningar. Hade gärna stannat mer än en natt, för det var lugnt och fridfullt. Dessutom en härligt, engagerad värd. Och man kunde göra din egen god frukost utifrån det som fanns i köket. Toppklass!!!

Our host Katherine was outer worldly!! We were so sad when we had to leave. We had an incredible time at the Sundance Country Lodge. We enjoyed the very quiet location, the very thoughtful setup of the whole interior. Everything was just outstanding. We have never experienced a B&B like the one from Katherine. We were also very lucky that we have met two other women during our stay, who were so positive, happy and kind - Katherine and them made our stay sooooo incredibly awesome. We want to come back soon! Beds comfy, bathroom and overall everything clean and tidy, huge house and breakfast ready in the morning! There were so many items to choose from - the fridge was full with fresh fruits, juices, bread, snacks, there was a granola station as well. Also Katherine backed a cake when we arrived which was delicious. Thank you soooo much for the nice stay Katherine!!

Omdat wij 2 nachten de enige gasten waren, hadden wij onverwacht het hele huis tot onze beschikking. Naast de gebruikelijke slaap- en badkamer, een volledig ingerichte woonkeuken en een ontspanningsruimte. Als er meer gasten zijn worden keuken en ontspanningsruimte gedeeld.

Everything was perfect. Katherine is an excellent host!

The property is stunning and super clean. The linens are top quality and the bed was superb. Breakfast was plentiful with fresh fruit, freshly baked goods, cereal, yoghurt, the choice was unreal.

Everything was just as shown in the pictures—if not better. The space is beautifully decorated, with warm wooden finishes that create a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It’s the ideal spot for a peaceful getaway, whether you're looking to unwind, disconnect, or simply enjoy the charm of the surroundings. Highly recommended for anyone in need of a relaxing escape.

The place is an absolute wonderful spot for a relaxing and comfortable stay. We got to spend just one night but the host Katherine made sure we had all we needed. Breakfast was also wonderful

We had an amazing stay! Katherine, our host, was so kind and accommodating—she made sure fresh coffee and a tasty breakfast were ready right on time. The entire place was spotless and fully stocked, with a well‑equipped kitchen and convenient BBQ. Rooms and beds were very clean and comfortable. The location is beautiful and peaceful, with lots of parking set back safely from the road. We loved the games for kids and adults, plus the cozy fire‑pit area for evenings. Truly a welcoming B&B—thank you, Katherine! We’ll definitely be back.

The most amazing lodge! Everything from our greeting during arrival to tour of the lodge, to our stay was beyond our expectations. What a find! Plan to stay for longer than 1 night (we hated to leave) - so cozy, with all the comforts of home (and then some). A kitchen with everything you'd need to cook for 1 or cook for 20+, lounging areas, a reading nook and loads of board games for all ages. I love me a bed with loads of pillows so this was a bonus. The host has thought of so many amazing little touches that it would be impossible to list them all ...

Only thing we didn't like was we had to leave...

Sundance was probably the nicest place I've stayed. Definitely the cleanest well cared for property. Felt like home. Kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. Lots of options for breakfast. Just a great place overall. I wish we could have stayed longer and was able to enjoy the place more. Thanks again for having us.

I had a great stay here! The place was very clean and super quiet, which made it easy to relax. The bed was really comfortable, and the shower had plenty of hot water. Would definitely stay again!

Just a heads-up: there's a short gravel road before you reach the hotel, so take it slow when driving in.

It was incredible stay! Thank you so much for your warm. Breakfast was like at home, beds were comfortable, room was clean. The house is very nice inside and location is great, between trees in a quiet place!

Exceptionally private, extremely clean, very comfortable and piece of paradise. Quiet, private retreat that is extremely well thought out. The hosts Catherine and Jeff are marvellous, very kind and accommodating. It’s very much a dream home away from home. I should also mention that I already mis the beds there as they are so comfortable!

Sundance Country Lodge is the best B&B I have ever stayed at in all my years of traveling! The owners, Katherine and Jeff are some of the nicest people I have ever met. The entire lodge was spotless and the bed was ever so comfortable. Katherine’s homemade breakfast selections were absolutely delicious. I cannot wait to return in the near future. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is an exceptional B&B. The property is stunning, and the rooms are large and very comfortable. There are a few common rooms to choose from, with great choices of games, tv etc. Our fantastic host Katherine provided a great selection for breakfast, plus plenty of snacks, juices, water and even a choice of wine and beer in the main fridge. Katherine was so helpful with lots of tips on things to do in the area, and is a very warm and welcoming host. My only disappointment is that we didn’t stay longer. I highly recommend staying here.

A perfect place to rest

Very clean. Beds (sleeping) was excellent. Lots of space. Everything at your finger tips, fluids, snacks etc. Highly recommend this place to anyone travelling or even a short get away. Our engine light come on in our travels. Our host had a car diagnostic tool to help us. Excellent.

The property was so quiet and peaceful and so well taken care of! The building is totally unique, we had never seen anything like it!

Our stay was perfect. The house is beautiful and so are the surroundings. The hosts are very kind and attentive. They make sure that everything is perfect. The breakfast is top quality, with fresh fruit, different types of cereals, coffee, tea, fruit juices and bread. The room was spacious and very clean. All in all, everything was perfect. We'll be back with pleasure.

Great hosts. Wonderful unique facility. Probably one of the cleanest place we've ever stayed at. The breakfast, and snack selections were fresh and abundant. We felt very welcome. Most enjoyable.
