Reviewed Aug 30, 2026I liked the location - 10 minutes drive from Leknes, quite and peaceful. The place is fully equipped with what’s needed, kitchenware, oven, microwave. I loved the homey feeling and style, with many old stuff. I also really liked the dishes, the plates are adorables. We came on the summer and the heating was okay, and also the dark curtains were fine.
The place was a bit small for us - a family of 5, and the main issue was a shortage of storage. There was no vacant closet to unpack any of our stuff, so we had to live out of the suitcases. In addition, the ladder upstairs is very stiff, so wouldn’t recommend for family with younger kids.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2025Wirklich schönes und gemütliches Haus, auch für eine Woche Regen, wie wir es hatten. Angenehme Heizung, best ausgestattete Küche, total ruhig. Liegt im Zentrum der Lofoten, 13 km vom Flughafen Leknes. Ausflüge und Touren Richtung Svolvaer, wie auch Richtung Reine.
Es fehlen Kleiderschränke und eine Sauna wäre fein.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2025La casa si trova in una posizione eccellente, è molto silenziosa e pulita. È dotata di tutti i comfort, tra cui lavatrice, lavastoviglie, utensili e accessori per cucinare, oltre a un comodo parcheggio privato.
Le camere da letto non sono dotate né di tapparelle né di ante oscuranti; sono presenti soltanto tende leggere e oscuranti poco efficaci, che limitano in minima parte l’ingresso della luce.

There could have been a table outside on the terrace. There is not a possibility to swim close to the house.

Curtains could have been darker. It was difficult to shower as we were not used to showering without water going everywhere. We definitely got better at it!
