Reviewed Sep 17, 2026I would highly recommend Ard na Gréine, really spacious, warm, comfortable and spotless. Sinead is an excellent host and went over and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The fridge was full, loads of cereals and treats for the kids! Games left out for the kids which was a big hit. Thank you so much Sinead for a lovely few days, we will definitely be back and will recommend your property to all our family and friends.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026We go away a lot, so w ehave a lot to compare it to & everything was exceptional. Stunning spacious accommodation. Very private. Close to all amenities. We were greeted by Sinead the owner & she gave is the full tour & informed us of local places to eat & order food from, which we did & she was right. The kitchen was fully stocked with not just the basics, she thought of everything & provided it, bread, cereals, brioches, fruit, yogurts, milk, butter, juices etc. Sleeping arrangements were very comfortable with plenty of room for everyone. Lovely spacious bathroom. There's probably lots more but if you've read this far, you get the idea, it is a wonderful find & we'll be staying there again for sure
Absolutely nothing wrong. If I really had to find something, maybe the fact that it was 1 bathroom/toilet for everyone, suited our group fine (3) but maybe if you're sharing with a bathroom hogger, it might be tight

30euro taxi for a 9 minute drive to and from a wedding venue near the accommodation. Not the hosts fault but 60 euro on top of accommodation was expensive.

Reviewed May 25, 2026Sinead hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns alles Wichtige in der Wohnung gezeigt und erklärt. Auch Ausflugs- und Wandertipps und Restaurant-Empfehlungen hat sie uns gegeben. Entsprechendes Informationsmaterial lag zudem in der Wohnung bereit. Die Wohnung war sehr, sehr sauber und super eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Umgebung lädt zu vielen Wanderungen und Erkundungsfahrten ein. In Stradbally selber findet man alles, was man benötigt: es gibt einen großen Supermarkt, zwei Takeaways, mehrere Pubs etc. Alles fußläufig schnell und gut zu erreichen! Auch diesbezüglich hat uns Sinead Tipps gegeben. Wir können einen Aufenthalt im Ard na Gréine sehr empfehlen und bedanken uns bei Sinead für ihre außergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft! P.S.: Wir waren sehr gerührt, dass schon Joghurt , Butter, Milch, Säfte, Toast und viele andere Leckereien für uns bereit standen!

Reviewed May 11, 2026The property was very modern and felt like a luxurious space for us both, a nice way to end our holiday, having a place to cook, watch TV, sit in the garden, (the ☀️ was out), particularly lovely that Sinead provided us with a generous range of breakfast items for our stay, made us feel well catered for. A nice location near the town and areas nearby to drive to. Sinead was good at staying in touch and gave as a nice welcome tour of the property with helpful ideas and information about what to see and do.

Needs a bath mat as bathroom floor gets wet easily and a bit slippy.

The host, Sinéad, went above and beyond by leaving food for breakfast and making sure all the essentials were provided, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Everything was well thought out, and we felt right at home. Highly recommend!

She met us at the property and showed us around, explaining the heating and water system etc. The house is gorgeous, immaculately clean, so comfy, and the items Sinéad left us for breakfast were perfect (cereal, bread, pain au choc, jams, milk, juice, fruit, yoghurt, tea and coffee). We had a wonderful night's stay and will definitely be back.

Reviewed Nov 12, 2025Nette Vermieter. Das Gebäude ist quasi neu und super eingerichtet. Da es die Tage oft geregnet hat, war das Haus, mit seinen Trocknungsmöglichkeiten ein Traum. Wir hatten bis dato nur in Hostel geschlafen. Jeden ersten Freitag im Monat ist Livemusik in Dunne’s Public House. Es war klasse! So kamen wir dann auch mit den Einheimischen ins Gespräch. Lernt besser ein Lied, damit könnt ihr euch noch besser “integrieren”. Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht da und mussten zeitig abreisen.

Reviewed May 30, 2025Het ontbijt stond klaar in de koelkast en in de kasten. Er was ruim voldoende yoghurt, fruit, brood, beleg (zoet en hartig). Er waren ook eitjes, alles om lekker te kunnen ontbijten. Omdat we een langer verblijf van 10 dagen hadden geboekt, werd het ontbijt na 4 dagen aangevuld en natuurlijk hadden we zelf ook al wat persoonlijke items gekocht. Ook was het fijn dat er een wasmachine was. De host zorgde voor wasmiddel en we konden daardoor goed de was doen. Wij hadden geluk dat het zonnig was en we hebben de was fijn kunnen drogen buiten. Binnen zou minder plek zijn ervoor, maar dat had de host vast goed opgelost. De host is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Als de het host gezin visite krijgt, hoor je de auto's over het grind rijden, als je met het raam open slaapt. Geen hinder, maar wel goed om te weten.
Er zijn geen minpunten. Wel goed om te weten is dat het toilet en de douche in dezelfde ruimte zijn. Als je met een groepje bent, is dat fijn om te weten. Ook goed om te weten is dat de gordijnen niet verduisteren. Dus het wordt snel licht in de kamer.

Reviewed Feb 24, 2025We were hoping for a spacious and quiet place to stay the night after 18+ hours of travel, and this was perfect. Easy drive from DUB airport, fantastic host (Siobhan) was so accommodating and had even purchased gluten free bread and granola for us, and everything was exactly as described. We regretted not staying longer but already had the next hotel booked. Next time we’ll stay a week!

We arrived late and she stayed up for us. Sinead provided us with candles and offered us a gas heater during a power cut. We arrived in Ireland on the day of the big storm
