So cosy, and warm! We had everything we could possibly need in there. Angels went above and beyond! We chose to have the hot tub and would definitely recommend it was perfect.

Clean, nice and tidy

We were looking for a place for a short trip to relax in great conditions and do nothing. Thanks to Angela and Damien, we achieved our goal. The Hen House was much better than we could have hoped for. It had everything you could possibly need, plus much more. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back :) Thank you very much, you're the best Hosts we ever met:)

On the way back, we thought long and hard about whether there was ANYTHING we could write in that field. Nope. Nothing.

We were there about a month ago and enjoyed our stay. The Hen House is in a very idyllic location and you have a great view of the green Irish fields. The whole cottage has a farm feel and cows can be right outside the front door. The facilities were very good for such a small cottage. Even the small kitchen has everything you need for a stay. There is even a whirlpool in the conservatory right next to the cottage that you can use. It's great! Barbecue equipment would have been available too. The wifi also works quickly and reliably. But most of all we would like to thank the host Angela. She was always on hand to offer help and looked after our well-being. It was a great pleasure to meet you and your family. Many thanks for a fantastic evening back then. We may never forget it!

Must be mentioned, the room for shower and wc is quite low. You have to pull your head in if you are over 175 cm.

This us an amazing peaceful place to stay

It’s was very pretty and clean.. and very well catered. We were very well looked after and felt very welcomed. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay with lovely owners to help us with any enquiries. Will 100% be booking again in the near future. Honestly couldn’t recommend enough.

So cosy and cute for a couples getaway.. Perfect location, very private but not far from Ballbofey and Letterkenny.. Host was so lovely and helpful. Hot tub was an added bonus, couldn’t recommend enough!

The place was cosy. Very nice, clean. Hottub was a highlight.

Only thing was the wooden bit of the bed. But everything else was perfect.

The location is amazing, up in the hills of the Irish countryside, peaceful, safe and surrounded by beauty.

The Hen House was cozy, warm and comfortable Outdoor seating, BBQ and hot tub felt like tropical paradise even despite the bit of rain Host very accommodating and had fridge stocked with essential on our arrival.

Low ceiling / doorway for couple over 6ft

Such a nice location, the owners made sure we were well looked after and had thought of everything. They were very accommodating to any of our needs. Will definitely be back thanks guys 💜💜

This trip has been hands down our best stay yet , from cleanliness, location , comfort , facilities, all the extra little touches and most of all the hosts all of these things together made it the perfect stay also with the local town only 5 minutes away. I would highly recommend The Hen House to anyone looking for a relaxing time away it is breathe of fresh air and we will definitely be back again soon !☺️
