Penida Green Palm Cottage

Dit verblijf is op Penida een verborgen pareltje. Wat een heerlijk verblijf, heel schoon, goede bedden en een heerlijk zwembad. Het lijkt iets afgelegen te liggen maar toch kun je makkelijk naar de hoofdweg lopen waar diverse restaurants zitten. De mensen van het verblijf zijn super vriendelijk en willen alles voor je regelen. Wij raden dit verblijf echt aan als je naar Nusa Penida gaat.

Dat de afstanden soms ver zijn en niet makkelijk bereikbaar vanwege de slechte wegen. Maar dat zegt meer over Penida dan over het verblijf. Dat was echt top.

Cogimos este hotel pensando que no estaría tan cerca del centro y habría menos ruido pero se escuchaba también la mezquita, se puede ir andando a la calle principal pero no estás cerca - cerca.. y de noche no está iluminado. Alquilan motos pero no tenían n-Max

Sehr sehr hilfreiches und nettes Personal. Frühstück war sehr lecker. Wir haben es nicht direkt gebucht, sondern individuell am Tag. Das Hotel ist vom Hafen aus gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es gibt sogar lieferservice von Essen ins Hotel.

The interior design was beautiful. The room was stylish, spacious, comfortable and very clean, with no unpleasant smells at all. Overall, the room itself was very well maintained and aesthetically pleasing.

The neighborhood can be quite noisy early in the morning. Unfortunately, there was also no hot water on the evening we arrived, which was especially disappointing after a very long and tiring day. We checked in quite late at night and there was no one available who could properly assist us with basic questions, such as where to find a taxi, how breakfast order works , where we could get food, or anything else we needed at that hour. The lady at reception was kind, but her English was very limited, which made communication difficult. Overall, the hospitality and level of assistance were disappointing and very different from the warm, attentive Balinese hospitality we experienced almost everywhere else during our trip.

Struttura tipica comoda per il porto, molto bella immersa nel verde con piscina. Camere essenziali ma pulite con bagno all'aperto. Colazione molto buona, che si richiede la sera prima.

La camera un po' piccola.

Il posto è molto bello, curato e pulito. La posizione è buona se si vuole vedere la costa Ovest ed è 15 minuti a piedi dal porto e 5 minuti in motorino verso la zona dei ristoranti/bar. Lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile.

The hotel was very nice, with large and clean rooms. We have nothing to complain about. One of the best hotels we stayed at during our trip to Indonesia.

Nous avons adoré cet hôtel non loin du port et du centre tout en étant dans le calme. Les chambres sont magnifiques ainsi que la piscine. Le cottage (la construction est expliquée) avec des matériaux écologiques et les chambres sont décorées avec beaucoup de goût. Nous y avons passé 2 nuits . On aurai aimé y rester ! Nous avons pris un driver (exceptionnel) pour visiter Nusa penida pour toute une journée. Une splendeur.

Surtout ne changez rien.

Our experience at the property was a mixed one. We arrived very early in the morning and noticed that the pool was quite dirty and green, which unfortunately meant that we did not use it at all during our two-day stay. One of the staff members was rather unpleasant, while the rest of the team were very friendly and helpful. We had booked a suite, which was beautiful, spacious, and very clean. The breakfast was also excellent! Unfortunately, one day before our departure, we contacted the manager to arrange a driver to take us to the port. When we arrived, we had walked there with our luggage, and one of the wheels on my suitcase had already broken. On the morning of our departure, we waited an additional ten minutes after the agreed time, only to be told that the driver could not come due to heavy traffic. We eventually had to walk to the port, although one of the staff members came by motorbike and kindly helped us carry one of the suitcases. Unfortunately, by the time we arrived, two more wheels on my suitcase had broken. The issue for us was not really the suitcase itself, but rather the communication. We would have appreciated being informed earlier that the driver would not be able to come, so we could have made alternative arrangements. Despite these issues, we appreciate the hospitality and the very reasonable price of the stay. Overall, there were some positives and some areas that could definitely be improved.

Great location- the hotel was around 10-15 minutes walk from the Nusa Penida Port. Nice restaurants nearby. The property is small but very clean and well maintained, friendly and helpful staff!

Le calme, le jardin, la petite piscine fraiche et agréable, la chambre très propre et parfaitement équipée. La bonne surprise d'être finalement à 10 min à pied du centre et du port: On n'est pas plus isolé que ça. Au final je trouve que ce logement a un très bon rapport qualité prix!

Et oui comme tout le monde nous avons été réveillé à 6h chaque matin par la musique horrible de l'école à coté: On le savait et nous avons décidé de réserver ici donc pas plus de commentaires....

Its a beautiful hotel

One of the worst services we’ve ever experienced. There was only one staff member on duty at a time, and they refused to help with our luggage. We stayed as a group, and several rooms had issues with the showers and hot water. The staff were also unfriendly and unhelpful.

Ya no del alojamiento, sino que el moverse por la isla es muy complicado

Las cabañas son muy bonitas. El hotel está a 5/10 min andando del centro aunque el camino es algo oscuro por la noche. Está también a 10/15 min andando del puerto. Zona muy tranquila. Para comer/cenar tienen una carta y puedes hacer pedido por whatsapp y te lo traen. El chico de recepción muy amable.

Llegamos por la tarde y nos dijeron que ya no teníamos opción a pedir desayuno par el día siguiente. LAs habitaciones huelen a humedad aunque es normal ya que están a pies de la piscina.

Property is overall clean and was great.

I complained to the staff that the ac was not working around 10pm a staff member came in his underwear in an upset mood, I told him ac was not working and he said that is impossible. I showed him it isn’t blowing cold air he still would not agree and said the remote is showing it is on the cold setting. When I told him that’s what the remote says but feel how humid and hot the room is he starts getting upset saying things in his language getting angry, he also said he would report me to booking.com for complaining. I was respectful and just wanted him to check the ac in return he was disrespectful and angry.

Green Palm Cottage is a peaceful place to stay on Nusa Penida. The property is clean, well maintained, and has a relaxing atmosphere, making it a nice place to unwind. However, it is located in a fairly quiet area with not much to do within walking distance. It's not the kind of place where you can simply step outside and enjoy nearby cafés, restaurants, or a lively atmosphere. During our stay, we had very little interaction with the staff. While everyone was polite, we missed the warm and personal hospitality that we experienced at many of the other accommodations during our trip. This isn't necessarily a negative, but it does make it a little harder to stand out compared to other places on the island. The cottages themselves are clean and comfortable. The only issue we experienced was that the hot water in our shower lasted for less than five minutes, which was disappointing. Overall, we would rate Green Palm Cottage a 7 out of 10. It is a good, peaceful accommodation, but there are a few areas where the overall guest experience could be improved.

Très chouette cottage à 15 min à pied du port de Nusa Penida. Logement cosy, propre, piscine agréable, accueil sympathique. Il y a moyen de réserver différentes activités via l’hôtel. Nous y avons passé un agréable séjour !

L'attitude du personnel en général: 1: Communication très compliquée avec le gérant par whats app qui ne prenait pas la peine d'écrire des mots en entiers, information succincte, réponse pas complète, notamment pour le transport du port à l'hôtel 2: L'attitude du personnel sur place. Parfois ça allait, mais nous avons eu régulièrement le sentiment de déranger. Pour la lessive, pour les scooters, pour le petit-déjeuner... Exemple: on nous annonce un prix de location de 125k pour un scooter à la journée et on demande si on peut avoir une réduction si on prend seulement pour le soir, l'homme du personnel nous dit qu'il n'y a pas de soucis sur le moment. Le soir venu, nous demandons d' avoir le scooter (cette fois-ci, c'était sa collègue à l'accueil). D'un coup impossible, nous devons payer la journée entière en cash tout de suite. Un des soirs nous avons accepté afin de nous faciliter la vie. Je signale en allumant qu'il était presque à sec, on me répond que le carburant n'est pas compris.. alors que nous avons payé une journée complète pour seulement 2h de location... 3: Notre chambre avait une odeur bizarre de pipi de chat le dernier jour. Dans un souci de ne pas déranger plus nous ne l'avons pas signalé et ne pouvons donc rien leur reprocher pour ce point.

Petits espaces

The hosts were super friendly and welcoming – we even ended up playing guitar and singing together one evening, which was such a fun experience. The pool was always clean and the water was amazing. Our room was clean and comfortable too. The location was great for us - we walked straight from the ferry and it took only about 15 minutes. The hosts also rented us a scooter, which was awesome because we used it to explore the whole island. Some of the roads are pretty bumpy and broken in places, but that's just part of the island experience and we had no issues getting around. We also became regulars at the nearby Joglo restaurant and ate there all the time because the food was so good. And if you're a cat person, you'll be happy to know there are a few friendly cats hanging around too! All in all, we had an amazing stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended! 😊

The only tiny thing was that the faucet in the sink splashed a bit, but honestly, it wasn't a big deal at all.

La ubicación no era la mejor, pero sigue siendo cercano al puerto.

La proximité du port. 15min de marche. La piscine qui fait du bien. La chambre était suffisante et bien décorée Le petit déjeuner est copieux. Possibilité de louer un scooter.

Ruelle sombre la nuit. En rentrant certains chiens errants peuvent être dangereux. Ménage à la demande mais ils ne changent pas les serviettes c'est dommage... Toilette beaucoup trop proche de la douche. D'ailleurs la douche arrose toute la pièce. Donc quand tout est mouillé attention a ne pas glisser sur le carrelage en sortant.

The cabins are really nice and a good size, outdoor bathrooms are a nice quirk and the beds are really comfy. Staff friendly and helpful in organising activities and the rooms were made up every morning to a high standard. Complimentary water provided.

The location is just about walkable into the town if you’re fit but it takes 15 mins. Also breakfast is not offered but can be ordered from a nearby hotel. Everything else was perfect.

住宿離碼頭約一公里，平常有在走路的人沒問題，如果沒有交通工具，扛行李箱的話慎重考慮， 我們帶著行李箱還經過大水坑 微泥濘，艷陽高照 可能會崩潰。 接待人員雖不會英文 溝通困難，但態度親切 面帶笑容 努力協助。 房間內有餐廳菜單，WhatsApp可直接聯繫點餐，信用卡收費+3%。

床單有明顯污漬，但我想這可能是印尼平價住宿的通病， 雖語言隔閡 一陣溝通後，協助換了好幾個床單，才終於看起來是乾淨的。 浴室偏暗，洗臉盆看起來很髒(不是刷洗會乾淨的那種)，沒有乾溼分離 蠻容易整間地上都是水， 島上淨水系統應該不太好，有換自己帶的可過濾式蓮蓬頭，濾心還蠻髒的

Location is great, Rooms overlook lush greens. Very clean rooms, beautiful Scandivilian decor with lots of artefacts and huge clean washroom.

We Stayed in Queen suite, everything was excellent, only issue was off centered placement of Ac unit did not cool the room sufficiently.

The property was very quiet and peaceful, the pool was lovely and the rooms were very neat and tidy, alongside very friendly staff.

No complaints in relation to the property at all.

Rene og pene rom. Rolig. Beliggenhet ift. mye annet var bra, men veldig dårlig område rundt. Hyggelig personale. Fint og koselig bassengområde, men plass til bare 4 personer.

Ikke reis hit alene, ligger veldig avsides bortgjemt mellom mye rare strøk, stort sett bare lokale. Hadde aldri turt å gå til/fra hotellet alene. Litt dårlig utvalg på frokost, kom stort sett for sent ift ønsket tidspunkt, noe som er dumt når man skal rekker båter/utflukter.
