Quedé muy contento con los servicios recibidos, nada que observar. Lo que no me gustó no tiene nada que ver con el hotel: el día domingo en Pto Williams está todo cerrado

This is not only the best hotel in Puerto Williams, but truly one of the best in all of Chile for this type of lodging, and I live in Santiago. In this remote Fin del Mundo, the hotel has created a space of absolute comfort, especially for travelers, hikers, and fishermen. Everything is thoughtfully designed: from the impeccable cleanliness and very comfortable rooms to the excellent quality of the beds, linens, and reliable Wi-Fi. What really stands out is the attention to detail for outdoor guests - including a well-planned system to dry clothes and gear after long days outside, which is essential in one of the rainiest regions of Chile. This was my second stay in seven years, and the recent renovation has been done beautifully. The hotel has only gotten better.

Maurice and his team were very friendly, happy to help in Spanish or English. Gave good suggestions for what to do in town and let us leave our bags while we hiked the Dientes de Navarino. The rooms are very clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast is INCLUDED (booking.com doesn't show this but it is) and delicious! Artwork by his son on show is also a lovely token from our trip to the South!

El alojamiento cuenta con camas cómodas, espacios luminosos y limpios y una excelente atención. Queda cerca del centro, y otorga un rico desayuno con el que partir el día.

Muy bueno

La cama era muy comoda, el desayuno estaba bastante bien, la calefacción, la atención del personal y de Maurice quien ademas tuvo la amabilidad de llevarnos a la barcaza.

El unico incoveniete que tuvimos en nuestra habitación y baño ( no asi la de nuestros amigos) no tenia aun closet, una mesa, percha o repisa para acomodar nuestras pertenencias, solo una silla esto debe ser porque el hotel estaba terminando la renovación y faltaban detalles por resolver.

Las habitaciones y el desayuno

Nos gustó mucho la atención de Maurice, nos recogió del aeropuerto, nos llevó a la base del Cerro Bandera, al salir nos llevó al punto de encuentro con nuestro transporte a Ushuaia, estuvo atento a nuestras necesidades.

Todo estuvo muy bien

Todo el hotel es inmejorable. Maurice, el propietario, tuvo desde la reserva hasta la salida una respuesta y una atención completamente excepcional.

I told the staff to clean up the room but they didn’t do anything.

Warm and comfy beds, top facilities, great staff. They were all super helpful and friendly. Cute little dining area. We could really relax there for a couple of nights.

Our stay here was delightful. The owner is very helpful and friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable and the breakfast delicious. The cafe is open in the afternoons too so it’s a great little place to have a drink and piece of cake after you’ve been out adventuring all day.

The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable about the history and area. It was very quiet and clean. Breakfast was great. I highly recommend Fío Fío if you plan to spend a few days in Puerto Williams. It is walking distance to the Cerró Bandero trailhead and down town

Beautiful hotel, rooms and bathrooms perfect. kind and considerate host Maurice. When our transfer to the airport would be late he drove us there himself. The cute café open fro. 4-7 pm serves delicious food.

Very comfortable room and bed with nice views. Good English spoken which made things easier.

Breakfast was basic, but good quality. There was yogurt on the first day but not the next 3! I thought a little something extra on Christmas would have been nice! A kettle in the room would be appreciated.

Maurice was a gracious and very knowledgeable host. 30 years on Navarino Island, an archaeologist and expert birder, English-speaking to boot. His hotel is lovely, with spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed rooms. A high-value oasis in Puerto Williams. Excellent breakfasts, including great pastry made on-site. And Maurice arranged transfer for ourselves and other guests arriving on the late-night ferry from Punta Arenas. We cannot recommend Hotel Fio Fio highly enough.

I stayed there last year and Maurice was an awesome host. Unfortunately I couldn't stay this year because the city lost it's fresh water supply due to river flooding. But Maurice was awesome in communicating the situation to me.

That I missed staying at a great location due to unexpected natural circumstances. 😉

Breakfast was amazing.

The owner spoke English very well. I was able to ask about the local attractions. We discussed our travel destinations and local customs.

The sink drains very slowly. The Tub/shower requires a big awkward step to get into.

Comfort, cleanliness, quietude, but above all the very friendly and helpful owner, who went out of his way to inform me about the island's history and geography and help me organise local excursions.

There was some confusion about the date and time for an airport taxi, but staff quickly ordered a new one when the first ride didn't arrive.

Wonderful cosy shelter to rest after long treks! Great breakfast and very caring staff.

The place is excellent. Views of the mountains from each side of the building. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. They have pretty spacious rooms with nice bathrooms. Overall great experience.

Clearly, it is quite a new small hotel with spacious, warm and clean rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff (Thank you, Anna!) An air of good taste in decoration and music and also in the souvenirs that they sell.

Communications with Anna had been so smooth and responsive, she went out of her way to provide me with as much info as possible. Upon arriving at midnight via the Yaghan ferry, Maurice was there to pick us up. The hotel is cosy, the room is clean, spacious and warm. The bed is huge and comfortable. The location of the hotel is in the town so very convenient to walk and explore the town. I cannot stress how nice and accommodating Maurice is. We couldn't do the crossing from Pto Williams to Ushuaia so we had to check out one day earlier, we were ready to pay 50% for the last night but Maurice didn't charge for the last night at all. He was able to drive us to the trail head of the Cerro La Bandera, drop us off at the Omara Park and the Airport during our stay. He has a small section of souvenirs and the art is drawn by his son and his wife's friend, it's beautifully drawn and captures the essence of Pto Williams. We bought a bunch of souvenirs. Highly recommend the hotel!

The only gripe I have is how high the shower wall is. Makes it a little awkward to get in and out.

A cosy boutique bolt hole, beautiful interiors. Anna was so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. She gave great recommendations for hikes, where to explore, just wonderful.
