Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Ein war ein bezauberndes geräumiges Haus. Die Ausstattung war besser als der eigene Haushalt schon fast. Es war alles da um sich dort wie zu Hause zu fühlen. Es war sehr sauber und die Umgebung wunderbar ruhig. Etwas abgelegen, aber mit dem Auto ist man in kurzer Zeit überall, wo es Trubel gibt. Janet ist eine sehr freundliche und herzliche Person.
Grillbesteck für den Grill wäre das i-Tüpfelchen.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Wir haben die Unterkunft nur für eine Zwischenübernachtung zur Norwegenfähre genutzt, waren aber sehr angenehm überrascht. Haus und Einrichtung sind sauber und gemütlich. Betten bezogen und nach langer Fahrt alles bereit. Gerne wieder!

Das Waschbecken im Bad könnte etwas größer sein. Die Automatik des Wasserhahns finde ich auch nicht sehr praktisch. Ansonsten alles bestens 👍.

Reviewed Apr 9, 2026The house was really nice and very well suited for our short stay. The rooms were all clean and the beds well prepared when we arrived. The fridge and freezer were off, I texted our host and she immediately came over to help us out and start the appliances! She is very helpful and welcoming.
A couple of lights were not working. There was enough lights overall but it would be nice to fix the ones that are not working. Also a couple of extra kitchen towels would be appreciated. One is slightly short when coming at 4 :) Last one, which may not apply to everyone! The pillows are in dawn / feathers, that is inconvenient when allergic to it :)

Sterke geur van reinigingsmiddelen die we als heel storend ervaren hebben. We kwamen s avonds laat toe dus uitvoerig verluchten was dan minder evident. Oa in het toilet stond er nog reinigingsproduct.

Shower needs a bit more deep cleaning.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2025Kort kjøretur fra fergen i Hirtshals. 10 km. Pent ryddig. Gode senger. Alt klart da vi ankom om kvelden. Raske svar på meldinger til vertsskapet.
Litt vanskelig å finne i mørket, men en mann med lykt som kom forbi hjalp oss slik at vi kunne se nummeret på den mørke selen av gavlen.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2025Es war alles vorhanden was man brauchte. Das Haus ist groß und bietet ausreichend Platz. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Hirtshals ist in direkter Nähe und der Strand auch. Die Terrasse ist auch wundervoll für schöne Tage um dort einfach gemütlich Zeit zu verbringen.
Das Bad ist etwas altmodisch aber das stört überhaupt nicht.

Host komt langs voor verdere uitleg. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Parkeerplaats voor deur. We hebben 1 overnachting gedaan. Zeer dichtbij de ferry. Kortom prima huis!

Reviewed Jun 20, 2025The house is easy to find, it is spacious and bright. The garden with a terrace and a glass house to sit in, is top. The beach is a 3 km walk away. In the kitchen you find everything you need. The car is parked in front of the door. We used the house only as stop on the way to the ferry but it is worth to stay longer. The host is very friendly. If you travel with children, I recommend it.

The weather was very cold, it was frozen outside in the morning (in April). The owner asked not to wear shoes inside the house, but the floor was very cold, and we could not find slippers (instead of shoes).

The beds are a bit soft for my taste...

Reviewed Aug 12, 2023Beautiful, clean house, lovingly furnished. They have thought of everything you need for your stay, with a well equipped kitchen, a washing machine and fluffy towels. The garden is also very nice. This place really feels like a home away from home. We were only there for one night but would definitely recommend also for a longer stay. It's actually bigger than it looks in the photos.
The keys are in a locked box on site so we didn't actually get to meet the owner, which would have been nice.
