Amazing stay! Fernando and the rest of the front desk staff went out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect. Will be back next time I’m in Coral Gables.

I don't normally do a lot of reviews but I was compelled to let you guys know how I feel about my experience here. I booked this for a mental break and It was a great decision. From the warm welcome to the food to the bed to the food, the pool? Everything was on point! I have stayed at many resorts but this one restored my faith in hospitality. I met a gentleman by the name of Ryan. I think he might the leader for the Front Desk. He was so kind and professional and what was most important was that he made me feel SEEN as a guest. His smile was infectious and he made me laugh too. Don't get me wrong. The rest of the staff was great! But Ryan was like a soothing wind with a bit of needed sparkle. Thank you all! This break was just what the doctor ordered and I will definitely be back when I visit Coral Gables again.

Great stay and everything was amazing. Rooftop pool is awesome. The service from Diva, Fernando and Fausto was extra ordinary and they were extremely helpful and welcoming. Loved the caring and calm demeanour!!

Best hotel in Coral Gable, wait, scratch that. Best hotel in MIAMI-DADE! I had the best experience at the hotel, I usually like air bnb’s but the atmosphere, awesome restaurant and food selection, amazing service and beautiful decorations. I had such a wonderful experience at The Thesis Hotel in Coral Gables this past weekend. The hotel itself is beautiful, with such a unique and modern atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which really made the experience stand out. Our stay was comfortable, relaxing, and honestly exceeded my expectations. Definitely a place I would recommend and would happily stay at again!!!

I am a big traveler and loyal to Hilton, and I have to say this hotel blew me away. Everyone was so friendly, the breakfast was delicious, the pool was clean and beautiful (along with the rooftop terrace and bar), the room was so quiet and comfortable, the bathrooms were spotless. I wish our stay here would’ve been longer! I definitely felt like I got my money’s worth, especially with the food credit they give you.

It’s really like a 3 star hotel. They do not serve breakfast at the hotel but they have coffee machines in every room. Hotel is clean. Very convenient if you are here to visit someone at u miami

When my valuables were miss placed in the trash and taken to the hotel’s trash compactor, I thought my stuff was gone forever. Thankfully the hotel staff acted fast and team member Ariel personally retrieved my valuables. I am truly impressed and greatful for the level of commitment and service the hotel staff give to their residents. Thank you Ariel!!

The team was very helpful in assisting with moving our belongings to our room over multiple trips. Fernando, in particular, was very accommodating and helpful in answering our questions and fulfilling our requests. We truly appreciated the great service and had a wonderful experience

Love this hotel and the experience my friends and I had. The food, drinks, decor, and staff were all wonderful. I particularly would like to celebrate Fernando and Sergui, who remembered our names at every sighting, gave us excellent advice about the hotel and our experience in Miami, and were generally and consistently delightful. Will remember them and this hotel with extraordinary fondness, and will certainly return the next time I am in Miami.

We had dinner at The Collab when we dropped our son off at college. Two days later I discovered that my credit card was used to pay for FIVE different dinner checks that night. Situation is unresolved as of yet, and I am hesitant to stay at this hotel during Parents' Weekend due to this fraudulent activity.

Ariel from house keeping helped us out, he went above and beyond with making sure the room was perfect for us!

Fernando was able to arrange a faster check in for my friend to move. Super charismatic and even handled a heated dispute between 2 guests in the lobby professionally and quickly.

Location for a visit to U Miami is perfect! Beautifully appointed and clean as a whistle. Be sure to make friends with Fernando at the Concierge Desk. He has all the tips, tricks and connections to make your stay comfortable and memorable!

Rooms were well appointed and housekeeping did a great job of keeping things clean and neat. Restaurants were delicious and cafe at the Residences was perfect for anytime snacks/meals/drinks. And Sergui, one of the hotel bellhops and more, was super helpful with bags and packages throughout our stay!

Had a great stay the Thesis while attending a retreat. The entire experience kicked off with the warmest welcome from Fernando at the front desk. What a bright light he was after a long day of travel. Every time we needed assistance, he had a huge smile and went above and beyond. The hotel itself was comfortable and a nice gym in a location where you can easily walk or ride bikes. Thank you!

Our waiter, Jose, was incredible. Never felt rushed. Very attentive and made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend.

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights. When we checked in, the A/C was making a loud humming noise. I called the front desk, and maintenance came up and told us to leave the A/C off for the night for safety reasons. The hotel was fully booked, so we couldn’t switch rooms and had to sleep in a hot room in Miami. We were moved the next day, and the new room was fine, but we still paid full price for a room with broken A/C. For what this hotel charges, I expected them to do something to make it right. Instead, we were told there was nothing they could do. No refund, no credit, and no real attempt to fix the situation. I wouldn’t stay here again.

I wasn't sure what to expect and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I felt like family from the time I arrived until I left. Shout out to all of the staff for their warmth especially Fernando, who was exceptional! His service was professional, warm, and extremely helpful.

This is my third time staying at this property, I love it! Even though I am there for business, it's still refreshing and relaxing!! I want to give a shout out to Fernando, he is so friendly, joyful and helpful..I had a bit of a problem paying the taxi driver, Fernando recognized my distress and walked me thru the whole process of getting the driver onto my Zelle account and paying him..I was just to nervous to figure it out myself...what a gem he is and everytime I saw him after that he was always a joy!!

In love with this pocket of Coral Gables. Right on the Campus of The University of Miami. My Daughter is here for a summer program at The Univ. Fernando and the Staff has made us feel at home everyday we've been here. Hospitality and rooms are top noch. My fav spot to hang is Ivy roof bar ( Staff is amazing Devon the best) by the pool. Food is also fantastic. My stay was little over 3 weeks. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our week at the Thesis, the bedroom was excellent , big room 2 cozy beds and nice shower room. We were well looked after by the staff ,they were all great, Particular mention to Ellie at reception who helped me recover my case, which had been left in Paris airport en route from Edinburgh. Also Victor the barman, he was really friendly and poured some lovely drinks. The food is really good in both restaurants, particularly the spare ribs. the only negative thing is the pool bar is closed every Sunday and Monday.

Beautiful hotel to tour U Miami. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the roof top pool and wish we spent more time there. The area of Coral Gabels is adorable.

Had some issues with parking and keys, inaccurate check out date on one room. At the front desk Eli checked us in and also was there upon checkout. She was so helpful, professional, warm and welcoming. Best customer service we have had perhaps ever. Keep her around!!

Where do I begin Rick and Fernando realized that I had had one of the worst days ever and made sure that my night improved. From the glass of champagne on check in to making sure that I personally got to the elevator and my room. It was above and beyond. I will def be back and ask for them

Very nice and clean, it was in the perfect location for what we came for. The staff was wonderful and gave us great family fun recommendations since we came with our 2 year old.

It’s very expensive and it wasn’t their fault but the weather didn’t allow us to use the pool area which was a bummer!

I had the pleasure of staying at THEsis for a corporate event. The room was clean and comfortable, and the event was really fun - our group played Padel, with terrific food and beverage service. Fernando and the team at THEsis took great care of us before, during and after the event. I am looking forward to my next trip there, and would hold an event there anyway!

My sons and I and our extended family - brother sister in law, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandma and grandpa has the most wonderful weekend celebrating a special family occasion. The food, customer service, pool, rooms and overall vibe and experience was beyond excellent. The costumer service was top notch and so personalized. Fernando treated us like we were his personal guests.

Check-in with Rick was awesome. The team is great. I feel really well taken care of!

The Thesis Hotel Miami is absolutely beautiful! From the moment you step in, you are greeted with champagne and smiles. The hotel had events while I was there and still felt inviting. I love a nice pool and it was so peaceful in the morning. My morning walk was amazing. Side note, the full length mirror was in a great spot in the room. I need my mirror! The customer service was top tier! Everyone was so helpful. Ellie, Kevin, Valentino, Tiffany, Fausto, Serguie, Nicki, and especially Fernando made my trip a breeze. Fernando provided me with information about the area. We were able to plan an amazing day! I started with the bikes that are located at the hotel. I felt like a kid again! I will definitely go back and see what other suggestions Fernando will have for me! I loved it there and can't wait to do more upon my return.

I’m leaving this review to make sure I never make the mistake of staying at this hotel again. I travel about 200 days out of the year. I haven’t stayed at a Hilton in a while. I stayed at this hotel about two months ago. I just came back into Miami and booked it again because I forgot what happened last time. Out of the five days I’ve spent in this hotel. I don’t remember room service picking up the phone a single time. Every time I want anything from a cup of coffee to breakfast, I have to go downstairs to the restaurant. No one at the front desk or at the restaurant care enough to figure out what the problem is The restaurant just keeps saying their phone doesn’t ring and the Front Desk just doesn’t care. I reserved the presidential suite. There’s not a single glass in the room. It took over an hour to get glasses in the room because I got tired of calling and waiting and then I went down and got them myself. I’d love to tell you the full story behind the event, but it would take too long. The rooms have ginger, beer and other beverages that require a bottle top opener. Not one room has one. All of the countertops in the rooms have chipped edges where people bust the bottles open. The hotel looks good on paper, but is one of the most disappointing hospitality experiences in reality. The only possible way I can understand the positive reviews of this hotel is people who have never experienced actual travel and believe that this is a standard. The staff is actually friendly. They’re just miserable and I mean miserable at their job. It is shocking how poorly trained the staff is in this hotel. This is the perfect property if your life consist of exceptionally low standards and you just believe this is normal.

Fernando and Mary truly made the stay well worth the money. We had an issue come up during our visit, and they handled it quickly, efficiently, and with genuine care, which made all the difference. We came to celebrate our son's graduation from University of Miami and stayed conveniently at the Thesis Hotel. The room was lovely. The lighting design was a special surprise. I uploaded photos of a desk lamp and the bathroom mirror. The pool deck was beautiful. Too bad we couldn't stay longer.

My husband and I recently stayed at Thesis Hotel in Coral Gables for a wedding weekend, and it was truly such a special experience from start to finish. We stayed for three nights (Wednesday–Friday), and from the moment we arrived, the ambiance was just elevated, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. The property itself is beautiful and having multiple restaurants on site made everything feel effortless. Every meal onsite was A+ (even the drip coffee at breakfast was a 10/10, which says a lot). What really set this stay apart, though, was the people. The level of service was exceptional across the board. Diva at the front desk made our arrival feel so warm and celebratory. She greeted us with complimentary champagne, had us spin a fun welcome wheel (we even won 5,000 Hilton points!), and gave us drink vouchers to kick off the weekend. We headed up to the rooftop bar that evening and met Danielle, who was incredibly knowledgeable and crafted some amazing cocktails. It was such a fun way to start the trip. Throughout our stay, Fernando at the concierge desk was also amazing. So helpful with recommendations and making sure we experienced the best of the area. One of our favorite parts of the trip was renting bikes directly from the hotel and riding out to the water and around downtown. It made the whole stay feel even more memorable. I also had the chance to visit the spa for a massage (highly recommend) and spent some time relaxing by the pool, which was the perfect balance to a busy wedding weekend. Overall, beautiful space, incredible food and amenities, and most importantly, genuinely kind and thoughtful staff. Whether you’re visiting Coral Gables or just looking for a relaxing getaway, I would absolutely recommend staying here. Can’t wait to come back!

From start to finish my wife and I felt so well taken care of. The director Vikash Maharaj greeted us and was so accommodating. All the staff was genuine and pleasant to speak with. The virws were excellent and the food was incredible! Will be staying again for sure.

The hotel location and the service that I received from Janae at the front desk was excellent!! Although I had a few issues, the staff/management ensured that everything was rectified. I will definitely be back.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Thesis Hotel in Coral Gables is an absolute standout. The food alone is worth the stay — the Brussels sprouts and octopus will blow your mind, and the red snapper at Mamey is out of this world. I never needed to leave for a meal. Fernando's hospitality is truly contagious — his happiness and your satisfaction go hand in hand. Rooms are spacious, quiet, yet close to everything. Highly recommend!

Super cute hotel- but the highlight was the concierge team! Fantastic recommendations and really kind people.

I had misplaced my keys and went into full panic. Fernando Frias is the best concierge, and a good person in general. He helped me through the whole process of finding my keys and truly cares. He’s also helped me on a couple different occasions and always has good spirits. Highly recommend talking to him.

Regratively, a great property and welcoming team with the exception of the frontdesk management's character and double talk reletive to rate offerings, rectless billings and charges coupled with evasive customer response and lack of attentive resolution and timely correcive action. Sufficient dismay and disorder to kill a good thing and the desire of a repeated stay, Extremely poor customer support in this department!

Literally nothing. The room fell through for the BRIDE and GROOM on their wedding night. And no one contacted me to let me know.

I want to share this review so other people, especially women and people with children, can make informed decisions about staying at the Thesis Hotel Miami. The hotel manager, HR director, and other staff at this hotel harassed and threatened me the last time I stayed there. I was a frequent guest at this hotel, several times for well over a year, and sometimes stayed for long periods of time; I thought the people were lovely, good location, etc. I have no idea why the hotel manager and some of his staff decided to treat me this way, and it was horrific. On a random day during my stay, I began getting bizarre, repetitive phone calls demanding I come downstairs to 'pay my bill,' which I didn't understand, they had my card on file, so I told them no problem and I'd come downstairs after my business calls. Then, out of the blue, the hotel manager came to my hotel room and started yelling at me, waving papers in my face, demanding I come downstairs to, again, 'pay.' His behavior was so odd and concerning I decided I was going to check out and go elsewhere. When I got to the lobby, I began to notice the HR director and another man watching and following me. When I asked the HR director if he worked at the hotel (I didn't know if he did at the time) and what his name was, he told me that he would not tell me and that he would not tell me his name, he got in my face, told me to be quiet "or else," and threw his head back and laughed. There were other people in the lobby at the time, and I took shelter with them. I then gave the front desk my credit card so I could safely leave. They charged my credit card thousands of dollars. I didn't get to look over the folio first, and it turned out to be wrong anyhow. This was the hotel manager and HR director et al of the Thesis Hotel. This is documented. Hilton has not taken accountability for these people's behavior, and they did not respond to my outreach about this incident until I said I was going to notify my credit card and cc'd my attorney, and then they sent me a CYA/template-like non-response. I later learned those involved at the hotel outright lied and defamed me in their communications as well, rather than, again, taking accountability for the way they treated me. It's been hurtful. The hotel has not refunded my money from that charge, and has not acknowledged nor apologized for this violating, unacceptable experience. This is a hotel, where people are supposed to feel safe closing their doors and going to sleep. And to my knowledge this hotel is still being run by these men, and the people who lie about and excuse this predatory behavior. I didn't want to be treated this way, and I don't want someone else to be treated this way. This hotel seemingly caters to families and students at UM. This was and is just egregiously unacceptable - violent, coercive, intimidating, wrong - and it is incongruent with a professional hotel operation. They ought to do better, to put it lightly. I'd strongly suggest finding somewhere else to stay. p.s. - I think it's worth mentioning that on one of my first stays at the Thesis, a while ago, there was seemingly a domestic violence dispute happening in a room down the hall. Yelling, loud noises. It was scary. I've seen other people comment on a similar experience. I called the front desk repeatedly and there were abysmal efforts to address it, to make calls, to establish safety. I put this in writing to the same hotel manager and his then-team at the time (and those folks were responsive), but I never got a direct response from him about my concern. It was just odd.

Absolutely will stay here again. Superior staff — Fernando, Kevin, Javier, Sandy — all were exceptional in theory hospitality. I loved being across the Avenue from U Miami Campus to see my son & the Thesis exceeded expectations in terms of quality of room, lobby, staff, and food. Can’t wait to return!

If I am headed to Coral Gables/ Coconut Grove I’m only staying at Thesis! Clean rooms, comfortable beds, delicious food and beverage options at multiple eateries…but what really makes Thesis stand out is the staff. I have never met a more wonderful crew from housekeeping, facilities, servers, front desk, valet…THE BEST. They are friendly, extremely helpful and always greet you with a smile. 10/10 top shelf all around

Wonderful boutique hotel in Coral Gables! The space was stylish, calm and beautifully maintained with thoughtful details that made the stay feel special. What truly set the experience apart though was the service. We experienced genuine hospitality that makes you feel instantly at ease and quietly looked after. The room itself was beautifully appointed - crisp linens, calming tones and small touches that boutique hotels do best. The location is perfect! Nestled in the heart of Coral Gables and offering the luxury of tranquility while still being a short stroll or drive from lively streets, restaurants and Miami's unmistakeable energy. We would return without hesitation.

Came here with my family to tag along on my husband's work trip. Great location and hotel was so nice and staff was amazing. Thank you to Fernando for the recommendations for fun activities to do with our kids. The hotel pool was perfect. The Ivy restaurant was great. We love Miami and cannot wait to return hopefully soon!

1. Parking wasn’t free. 2. Toilet only flushed sometimes. 3. Shower head was a joke. 4. Room was too small. 5. Food was so so. 6. Price was ridiculous for this hotel. I should have stayed at a different hotel. There are lots of them to choose from, but the ratings swayed me.

O serviço deixou a desejar. 3 dias não repuseram água e papel higiênico. Tinha que ficar pedindo para fazer o serviço de quarto. Na hora do check out, não foram honestos. Tinha voucher de café da manhã e cobraram. O atendente da noite disse que não podia tirar, que era para pagar descontando oque foi cobrado a mais. Paguei Td ok com meu cartão de viagem. Dps, cancelaram o débito, e cobraram o valor cheio no cartão brasileiro que havia passado de calção. Sem contar o café que 2 dias não nos atenderam pois alegaram que estavam sem capacidade.

The location was the best. We were there for the graduation at UM. Breakfast was good. I was super appreciative that the hotel front desk person was able to retrieve and hold my husband's phone that was accidentally left on the lobby couch when we left the hotel. The room was efficiently laid out, neat, clean and tidy. The service & happy hour at the Mamey restaurant in the hotel was great. The ambience of both the Ivy and Mamey were very relaxing and inviting.

I have an electric car and there was some significant charges for leaving the car in the electric charging station while not charging, which we would not have known had we not gone with the valet to the charging station to see the actual notices of charges. We had to go with the valet to the charging station so that we would know the location of the car to move it once charging was completed to avoid the unnecessary charges for leaving the car in the charging spot. Given the price of the hotel, I would not have expected that.
