Down town apartment with outside area in villa

We had planned to stay here twice—at the beginning and the end of our trip to Norway. Unfortunately, the first part of our trip was canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, and we couldn't make it. The host refused to cooperate or offer even a partial refund.

Appartement moderne et propre, quartier calme, pratique pour prendre le ferry du matin. Beaucoup de chaînes télé accessibles.

Appartement aménagé dans un sous-sol, pas beaucoup de charme, convient pour un soir. On ne peut pas laisser la voiture devant la maison, même si on l'a demandé, il faut trouver une place dans la rue. Pas très loin mais pas agréable quand il pleut. Le lit est étroit et collé contre le mur.

It's a cozy little apartment in a quiet neighborhood and we found everything we needed. Easy to find and check-in with the lockbox. We were by car and it was quick and easy to get to downtown Kristiansand.

meget venlig værtinde, dejligt udeområde - og vejret var skønt - pænt og veludstyret køkken, gode senge og hyggeligt siddeområde inde. Fin gå afstand til centrum, og meget nem tur til færgen.

Die Lage war sehr gut, der Aussenbereich wunderschön. Küche.

Dem Appartement fehlt ein wenig die Aufmerksamkeit der Eigentümer. Wc-Deckel lose, Duschbad bzw. Geschirrspülmittel fehlen. Duscharmatur seitenverkehrt montiert… 12€ pro Person für Bettwäsche, die man selbst überziehen muss.

De locatie is perfect en zeer dicht bij de ferry van Kristiansand naar Hirtshals

Parkeren op locatie is niet mogelijk en je zit in de kelder onder de villa met kleine raampjes t.h.v het plafond

Slaapkamer is krap rondom het bed. Parkeren kon niet vlakbij het huis in dezelfde straat zoals vermeld in de advertentie maar iets verderop (overdag druk bezet). Bedlinnen niet inclusief maar extra bijhuren; stond niet duidelijk vermeld in de advertentie.

No me gustó que te enteras cuando pagas, y recibes el correo con las instrucciones de que las sábanas y toallas cuestan 140NOK por persona. Debería estar claramente indicado pues, en general esto es un básico.

Easy parking. Basement unit but good enough for 2 pax.

If you have big and heavy luggage like us, it will be a hassle to move the luggage down to the basement.

Ubytování je velmi dobře situované vzhledem k přístavu (je velmi blízko), takže se hodí při příjezdu nebo při odjezdu trajektem. Prostory jsou čisté a velmi dobře zařízené. Parkování je na hlavní ulici asi 200m, ale je to v pohodě. Hned za zahradou jezdí vlak, ale nebýt toho, že jsme ho viděli projíždět, ani bysme to nevěděli, protože slyšet není skoro vůbec.

Ložnice jsou 2 - malá a miniaturní a ještě menší byla bohužel naše postel. Při šířce cca 120cm je to za mne pro 2 lidi na pohodlné vyspání málo. Ve výsledku byl tedy celkový dobrý dojem zkažen tím, že jsme se moc nevyspali... O nutnosti extra si připlatit za ložní povlečení byla řeč v předchozích recenzích, takže to zmiňuji pouze jako potvrzení, že je třeba s tím počítat jako s navýšením celkové ceny. Trochu jsme se zapotili s kódem při předávání klíčů - v noci při umělém osvětlení je na kódování zámku velmi špatně vidět, takže to byl boj. Ale vyhráli jsme.

Der Komfort und die Lage waren klasse. Der Gastgeber hat das Appartement liebevoll eingerichtet.

Die Toilettenbrille war lose und der Toilettendeckel gerissen. In der Küche war ein Schranktürscharnier lose, sodass die Tür schief hing.

The are was nice being quiet out of the city centre but close to it by good public transport, and a supermarket nearby. It was nice having a flat to ourselves with a nice garden and it being private. Although it was essentially a basement, it didn't feel like it.

The shower being narrow and difficult to get in and the water not draining away. Also the TV should have been cable as advertised but was not and could only watch through some apps or a few live Norwegian channels. Also some of the lights didn't work properly especially in the kitchen area where they were either not on, or couldn't turn off. The bedding looked like it needed replacing. Finally there was confusion about whether the property had been cleaned or not as a cleaner came on the first night to query but when she came she did a good job with the cleaning.

Lage war optimal für unsere Abreise mit dem Schiff. 750m entfernt vom Kai ... Super freundlicher Gastgeber! Sehr zu empfehlen, Tolles Appartement.

Beliggenheden var fin kunne gå til Centrum på 20-25 minutter, dejlig meget rolig vej og let til gratis parkering.

Vi var 4 voksne og det kan lejligheden ikke rumme, f.eks. var der et lille spisebord med to stole, hvilket betød at vi måtte sidde ved sofabordet og spise. To værelser det ene med en dobbelt seng og det andet med en seng til en voksen eller to børn, vi var to voksne der lå meget tæt. I køkkenet manglede der lidt når man er 4 personer f.eks. 3 æggebægre 3 vinglas ( vi fik dog hurtigt flere glas efter at have kontaktet værten) I badeværelset var toiletbrættet løst og låget knækket af, vi var heldige ingen faldt af ;)

El apartamento está bien ubicado, cerca del centro. La decoración y el menaje es completo. Tiene 2 habitaciones, éramos 4 y pudimos estar cómodos.

No había wifi, señal tan débil que ni la propia television podía conectarse por lo que no pudimos hacer uso de ella. La cama y las almohadas son blandisimas. Hundidas. La verdad que no son nada cómodas.

The apartment was pleasantly decorated and quiet and the kitchen was well equipped. It was a walkable distance to the town centre and only a few minutes’ drive to the ferry terminal for travel to Denmark (an important consideration for our early morning departure).

This would have been a very good apartment except for the following points. Firstly, unless you are quite slim, it is difficult/ impossible to enter the shower cubicle, as the opening panels are blocked by the toilet and washstand. The Booking.com site refers to “free on-site parking” but we learned shortly before arrival that the owner expected clients to park in another street, along a main road. This was unacceptable as we had a van loaded with possessions and had a very early morning departure. We negotiated a closer parking space but still need to unload much of the van. We also learned shortly before arrival that we were expected to pay extra to use sheets and towels. We consider this an unacceptable practice for people renting out an apartment but if they impose such a condition, it, like the parking arrangements, should be made clear on Booking.com before clients reserve the property. We also do not think it appropriate that an owner expects clients to do a thorough clean of the apartment before departure, as this owner did. While we always leave places tidy and at least superficially clean, we should not be expected to provide an in-depth cleaning service. Finally, a couple of small points: the TV is only if any use of you arrive with your own streaming subscriptions (should be made clear in advance) and we could not turn off some of the lights as we could not find any light switches that controlled them.

Grand proximité du centre ville et des ferrys pour le Danemark. Espace extérieur disponible et appréciable les jours de beau temps. Hôtes sympathiques.

S’agissant d’un logement en sous-sol de la maison des propriétaires, cela peut manquer de luminosité les jours de mauvais temps.

Alles was super goed!

Gut gelegen und in Ordnung ausgestattet. Gastgeber gut erreichbar; check-in problemlos. Kostenloser öffentlicher Parkplatz war um die Ecke.

Endreinigung muss selbst gemacht werden. Bettwäsche selbst mitbringen oder optional dazubuchen. Die Schlafzimmer sind nicht sehr groß. Größtest Manko: die Wohnung ist im Kellergeschoss mit wenig Tageslicht.

Habitaciones pequeñas, techos bajos, que tengas que pagar por las sábanas y que no te deje cargar el coche teniendo punto de carga y que viven arriba y se oye todo. Cualquier persona no entra en la ducha.

De locatie is perfect voor bezoek aan centrum Kristiansand en de veerboot. Appartement is ruim en heeft 2 slaapkamers en keuken.

Het appartement is half onder de grond dus erg donker door de kleine raampjes. De glazen deuren van de douchehoek kunnen niet genoeg open door wc en wastafel. En het water loopt eronder door waardoor alles nat wordt. Extra betalen voor bedlinnen en handdoeken en zelf moeten schoonmaken voor deze prijs vonden wij een teleurstelling.

De locatie is op loopafstand het centrum en dichtbij de ferry. Het appartement is netjes en alles zit erin wat je nodig hebt.

Het contact voelde onpersoonlijk. We hadden geen internetverbinding.

The apartment has several good points, including apartment is quiet and clean, location is convenient, room spaces are big enough, the kitchen supplies are sufficient, shower water is strong enough.

One of the very few available properties in the area. The location was great.

Beside it is in the semi basement (but we know before we arrived, so no surprise for us), everything else was good.

Private entrance with key. Fully equipped kitchen, big oven. Good temperature regulation with the thermostat. The bed was nice and warm. The fireplace was a very nice feature on cold evenings. The couch was comfortable. The location is close to everything. The owner responded quickly to questions.

It's true that you can hear the people that live upstairs walking around sometimes but they keep quiet between 22h-8h, so it's not a problem. Be advised that the rental of towels and bedlinnen is not included. (130 NOK p.p.) It was no problem for us but it could be nice to realise beforehand.
