Donegal Cabin with Hot tub Option

The place was very cozy, peaceful and clean, and the environment and the host were incredible too. The spa room was the perfect way to unwind for the day. Would go back in a heartbeat!!

We had a lovely stay at this cabin. The location is perfect—situated in a nice, quiet town that feels very peaceful, yet remains conveniently close to Derry. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. We also made use of the Thermal Suite; the hot tub and sauna were excellent and provided fantastic value for the price. A great choice for those looking for a relaxing getaway near the city.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the condition of this cabin. There was a noticeable lack of general upkeep; the fixtures were corroded, the shower door was broken, and cobwebs were left in several corners. While we expected some insects given the environment, the overall lack of cleanliness and repair made the stay uncomfortable. I would not use the plunge pool in the thermal suite, it was a bit of a letdown—it felt a bit unrefined with a plastic stool inside, and there were bugs in the water.

Great facilities for a great price. Honestly everything was lovely and nothing was of concern. They had hot showers and the thermal suite facilities were great. Definitely recommend. The owners also let us have a late check out on the fly so we could have another thermal suite session which was lovely. Any questions I had they answered promptly via text while giving us our privacy. It was our own little piece of the world for a while !

The sofa which may have been a sofa bed is a bit uncomfortable and a few things could’ve been cleaner but all in all we were happy and went for our anniversary. Would definitely be interested in returning

How close jt was to letterkenny town, and how comfortable the bed was

Shower/bathroom very small, water trickled out of shower head, fot the price of 180 a night to much for type of place it is 100euro is more than enough

Wonderful value for money, beautiful surroundings, spa facilities (extra cost) are fantastic and were our highlight. Great host, very good communication and welcoming.

Great location. The most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Friendly host. The robes were a great touch to relax in.

It had more of a caravan feel to it which was fine.

Sam was very friendly and the location was great. The property is located in an old farm, with the most scenic surroundings. It's practical and it has everything you need, the kitchen is very well equipped. The bathroom is a bit dates but most usable and the most important thing: the whole property was spotless clean! and... The thermal suite! We were most devastated for not being able to use it as we had to go. We had to change our plans unexpectedly on the last day and Sam was very understanding and appreciative.

The only thing we would highlight is that the property had plenty of mosquitoes, way too many... as it's the summer I suppose. It was quite the adventure to sleep in it. This prevented us from enjoying having a glass of wine outside in the evening. This couldn't have been prevented by the owners so we understand there was nothing to be done. We are sure it would be different to stay in a different season. Otherwise all good!

The log cabin is an old caravan. It is not a log cabin. It was very untidy. The host was most unhelpful even stating there was no where to have dinner yet we drove 5 minutes to nearest village& were able to get dinner. We didn't stay the night as my partner was so upset with the service& condition of the "caravan" .I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone

I just loved it. We had a ball. So peaceful and beautiful scenery. So quiet it was great just to unwind and relax

Ambience and the thermal suite.

Just the cutest lil cabin ever. Nestled along the country side. Great views and local milk from the dairy just the next farm over. Our host was a great couple who lived in the house on the property. I would definitely stay here again if ever back in Ireland.
