The place is wonderful, avergae food, very peaceful and calmn. Excellent for a weekend gateway.

Restaurant staff mixed up the bills. Some were extra charges which were later rectified during checkout. The roomservice trolley is extremely loud and is very irritating. I woke up multiple times from the room when they moved it outside of the room. That trolley definitely need rubber tyres. You can hear it louder because the place is quiet.

Stone Wood Premier Dandeli is a great place to stay if you’re visiting Dandeli. The location is excellent, and the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. We stayed in the Villa Room, which was very spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. The Wi-Fi was decent and reliable enough to get some work done, which was a big plus for me. The food was also really good, with a nice variety of options. Overall, we had a very pleasant and relaxing stay, and I would definitely recommend Stone Wood Premier Dandeli to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Dandeli.

The room was absolutely unclean, smelled like urine, the bed had stains, unattended dirty dishes. The toilet seat came when we tried to open the lid. There were ants coming in from every corner of the room. Basic amenity such as a clean room and hygiene was not provided. One of the most unorganized establishments I have seen so far. For ice cream frozen dessert (vegetable oil ) were kept, for juice they kept Tang and other sugar drink, when you pay for food with out questions asked then you are expected to provide healthy food and not some cheap alternative. In such jungle stays guest don't have any other place to go and have food.

Hotel could arrange for pick up and drop facility for safari. Restaurant seating maybe increased a little as when rooms are full some people need to wait for having food.

This is my first stay in the Dandeli/Ganeshgudi region and the Stone Water resort is the perfect mixture of peace and disconnect I was looking for. I stayed here for 2 nights on my way to Goa from Bangalore. Perfect break in the journey. The place itself is nestled in a forest area, has a very clean and well maintained pool with a separate kids area, a well staffed cafe where a fixed buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner is served. Ala carte is somewhat restricted due to LPG shortage but will soon open up. The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. The best room combination is the breakfast and dinner plan along with the Nature View Cottage (swimming pool view can get awkward if you plan on sitting outside the room sipping coffee 😊). The place has an adventure booking counter where you can pick different activities in house and outside (water activities like rafting etc. are outside). The resort itself is quiet, serene and very welcoming. It's very instagramable if you are into all that. They have a 2 MB shared wifi Internet. Due to its location, there is no phone network which was ideal for me. Our stay was fabulous and very relaxing. We will definitely be staying here again. The staff was extremely helpful, from Marvin from the reception, Aman who helped us get our bags to the room, Pranav, Jaya, Bhumi and Souman from the restaurant or even Ganga the resort cleaning staff who helped us find the entrance to the gardens. Stay here if you want peace, a night full of stars, a nice bonfire in the night and great comfortable rooms. All water activities, hiking and safaris are within driving distance.

Contact the hotel for rafting , they are very helpful, really helpful, the staff is cool, except for one or two who dont know how to smile. The housekeeping service is excellent and also frontoffice, restaurant and even security, all smiles and very helpful. Thank you.

I most liked stay

I would like to inform the extremely poor service experienced at Stone Wood Jungle Resort, Dandeli. The staff behavior was highly unprofessional and rude, and they failed to communicate properly with guests. Despite prior expectations, Jain food was not available, which caused significant inconvenience as my mother could not eat. We were made to wait for an unreasonable amount of time, from around 10:20 AM until nearly 1:15 PM, without proper assistance or hospitality. Additionally, the rooms were not provided in a satisfactory condition. Although it was claimed that the property is only two years old, the maintenance and overall quality were very poor. This experience reflects negligence and lack of basic customer service standards.

Breakfast options were limited but whatever was available was ok to taste.

Breakfast options were fairly limited because of ongoing LPG issues. Cleanliness in the restuarent was also not upto the mark but flies and lizards floating everywhere. Restuarent staff also were not very friendly with our requests for Coffee/Tea service on the table.

Le Stone Wood est un très joli resort de bungalows individuels en bois très confortables dans un très beau cadre de verdure et de fleurs impeccablement tenu. Le personnel est très accueillant.

Les Indiens y viennent en famille (grands-parents, parents, enfants) le week-end car cela ressemble aux Centers parcs de chez nous avec piscine, accrobranche, tyrolienne, aires de jeux et ce particulièrement le samedi qui est une journée à éviter car beaucoup de monde de bruit à la piscine et au restaurant. Dès le dimanche midi le calme revient :) Le restaurant propose essentiellement des plats indiens.

The food was average to bad and around 500 per meal They tried to squeeze a lot of money out of us the activities were 20% more expensive when booked with the hotel and the taxi there was 2000 outrageous. Your realy dependent if you don't have your own car. The warm water was 2 min then cold again The bath stinked of robber They try to scam you at the end with a higher bill so be careful

Had an amazing stay at Stonewood Resort, Dandeli! The property is beautifully maintained and surrounded by lush greenery, making it a perfect getaway to relax and unwind. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff was extremely warm, polite, and always ready to help, which made the stay even more pleasant. The food was delicious with a good variety, and the overall hospitality was excellent. The calm atmosphere, great service, and scenic location made this trip truly memorable. Extremely Disappointing Stay – We Left After One Night This is one of my first review - I usually stay away from reviewing places. But I really dont want someone else to make the same mistake as us. We had booked two nights at this hotel, but we chose to leave after the first because the experience was far from satisfactory. Our room smelled strongly of fungus, and there was visible mold. When we reported it, the staff simply shrugged it off and said that was “just how it smells.” The air quality was so terrible that we both developed headaches, and by the next morning our belongings were damp from the moisture in the room—even though they were kept indoors. There was absolutely no help to be found at the reception regarding these issues. They didn’t take our concerns seriously, and when you try to contact them in writing, they don’t respond either. The WiFi only worked in the reception area, which was extremely inconvenient. The on-site activities were another major disappointment. They were nothing like what was advertised: poor selection, low quality, and some were even linked to destinations involving animal mistreatment, which was completely unacceptable. Their so-called “game room” was dirty and unhygienic—I would never send my children down there. We also ordered pizzas from the hotel, but they were practically inedible. One of the main reasons we chose this place was to relax in nature, but that was impossible. There was constant noise from a large generator, and the staff mowed the lawn for hours. The atmosphere was anything but peaceful. On top of that, the neighboring property was loud well into the night. Overall, we never felt like we were out in nature or in a relaxing environment at all. This stay was extremely disappointing, and we cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Meine Freund und ich waren als Backpacker für drei Tage im Stone Wood Resort Dandeli und wurden schon bei der Ankunft herzlich vom freundlichen Personal empfangen. Unser gemütliches Bungalow konnten wir direkt beziehen – es war liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Besonders praktisch: Der Roomservice lässt sich ganz unkompliziert per Telefon erreichen und kümmert sich sofort um alle Wünsche. Morgens und Abends erwartet einen ein reichhaltiges Buffet mit vielen köstlichen indischen Spezialitäten. Besonders schön fanden wir, dass die Gerichte auch für europäische Geschmäcker angenehm mild gewürzt waren – wir haben das Essen wirklich sehr genossen! Da sich das Resort mitten im Wald befindet, wird man morgens schon einmal vom Rufen der Affen geweckt und kann abends den faszinierenden Sound des Dschungels lauschen! 🌿 Insgesamt haben wir im Resort viele nette Menschen kennengelernt. Alle waren unglaublich herzlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wir können das Stone Wood Resort Dandeli uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen – perfekt für alle, die Natur, Abenteuer und indische Gastfreundschaft erleben möchten. 😊

Excellent property. Beautifully done up cottages. Extremely comfortable beds. The showers were absolutely brilliant! Courteous staff. Good tasty food.

They had a DJ night with loudspeakers. Considering we were in the middle of a forest, i don’t think a dj night with loud speakers is the right thing to do.

Every thing about the resort was good.Especially the location and the aesthetically made cottages. The staff at the reception, especially Mervin was very helpful as well as the staff at the restaurant.Special mention to be made is of Mr Somen Dhara ,who was quite courteous and even fetched warm water to drink as and when asked for.IbHighly recommend this resort in Dandeli...Would surely opt for it for my future Trips to Dandeli...

A small gift shop with Dandeli specific fridge magnets,key chains or forest honey and a few knock knacks would be welcome...
