Difficultés pour se garer les parkings ne sont pas a côté de l hôtel et les places qui se trouvent à proximité sont toujours prises.

Petit hôtel très confortable et propre. Accueil chaleureux et attentionné. Vue sur le château de la chambre et ambiance café pour le petit déjeuner. Idéal pour observer l'éclipse de soleil des rives de la Maine.

Emplacement idéal pour visiter la vieille ville ou ville nouvelle, mais surtout la vue sur le château ! Chambre propre et confortable. Bonus : un accueillant super chaleureux et convivial qui fait qu'on veut y revenir si de passage à Angers. Et le petit-déjeuner excellent venu tout droit de la boulangerie à côté. Bref, ne cherchez pas plus loin, venez chez Marguerite d'Anjou !

Loved our stay! Everything worked well especially the AC when it got to 100F wonderful location and view of Castle, Baked goods for breakfast were perfect. Hosts are helpful and welcoming. Great value too.

Extremely friendly staff, helpful in every regard (we got a lot of advice on what to visit, where it was, etc...), very nice location to visit Angers, very clean, generous luggage deposit service.

Overall we had a great experience. The only small point of criticism is the lack of (permanent) common room. We were 5 and booked 2 rooms, which were perfect for sleeping, but too small to hang out with 5 people, so we would have loved it if there had been some kind of common room to hang out before sleep time. Although we were allowed to use the lovely veranda from the café downstairs (which serves as breakfast place in the morning) until closing time, there was no access to it between 20:00h and breakfast time. This is no issue if travelling with only adults, as there are many bars close by, but a bit more inconvenient with children, especially if they have different ages and sleep requirements.

We returned to the Hôtel Marguerite d’Anjou for one very special reason: Samy. His warmth, humor, and genuine hospitality made our first stay unforgettable, and seeing him again felt less like returning to a hotel and more like visiting a friend. Christophe and Pierre-Louis have something very special in Samy—he’s the kind of person who turns first-time guests into returning ones.

Een heel fijn hotel op een prachtige locatie. Zeer hartelijk welkom en vriendelijke service. Een leuk barretje bij het hotel geeft het extra sfeer. Prima kamer met uitzicht op het imposante kasteel. De fietsen konden veilig in een schuur worden geplaatst. Aanrader!

What a location! Right opposite the chateau, and an easy walk from a host of excellent restaurants. Breakfast sitting out watching the world go by is a wonderful experience. Our hosts could not have been more friendly and welcoming. The room had air conditioning that saved us as we were travelling on days when the mercury was hitting 40 degrees. Angers is an amazing city, and this is the perfect place to base yourself for a visit.

The flip side of the location is that there is no parking onsite. However, a little drive down the hill takes you to a lot on the other side of the river which serves as unofficial free parking for most of Angers seemingly.

We could hear people checking out early in the morning coming down the wooden stairs ( we were on the first floor ) - usually managed to fall asleep again

スタッフの方が非常に親切でした。 部屋は3階でしたが、チェックイン時にエレベーターが故障しているとの事で、スーツケース２つを階段で運んでくださりました。 また周辺の観光ポイントなど丁寧教えてくださったり、朝食も素敵なテラス席に通してくれたのち丁寧に楽しみ方を教えてくれたので宿泊を楽しむ事ができました。 翌日ピュイデュフー行きのシャトルバスに乗るための宿泊だったので1泊だけしかしなかったのがとてももったいなかったと感じます。 ロケーションはアンジェの象徴的なお城の目の前で、朝の散歩で城の周りを巡る事ができました。 部屋にチップは置きましたが荷物を上げてもらった時に渡せばよかったのが少し後悔しています。

Five star service from Sammy, Christophe & Pierre and Dorian. We were made very welcome, and were given outstanding service from start to finish. We particularly enjoyed our breakfasts, and the central location of the hotel made our visit to Angers very successful . Highly recommended. Sammy is a gem!

Al estar tan céntrico,el aparcamiento cerca es caro pero se puede aparcar en parking gratis al otro lado del río.

Das Hotel hat 2 Sterne. Dafür passt alles sehr gut zusammen. Es ist sehr sauber, das Personal ist überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für unseren Gebäudeteil gibt es keinen Personenaufzug, jedoch einen Lastenaufzug für Gepäck. Zimmer und Bad sind nicht übermäßig groß aber absolut ausreichend. Unsere Fahrräder standen sehr gut geschützt.

Etwas mehr Haken zum Aufhängen von Jacke etc wären gut. Das Frühstück schmeckt zwar gut, etwas mehr Pfiff wäre gut.

Un accueil formidable, Samy s'est montré aux petits soins pour nous apporter de l'aide pour sécuriser nos vélos et pour les petits déjeuners, absolument adorable. L'hôtel est très bien situé avec vue sur le château et proximité du centre ville. La chambre était propre et confortable. Petit déjeuner d'un excellent rapport qualité prix.

We stayed at this great hotel on a very hot night in May. The hotel is perfectly positioned opposite the Chateau and Office de Tourisme. The welcome we received was exceptional. The rooms were cool and clean with a great view over the Chateau. Breakfast was also fantastic with delicious coffee, croissants, bread etc etc. There was no lift ro our rooms but the stairs weren’t steep. We managed to park easily in a nearby car park.

Great position, very welcoming and helpful staff, comfy and quiet room overlooking the chateau, delicious typical “French”breakfast with huge croissants.

Parking might be tricky but we found somewhere easily.

The staff were all lovely, very helpful with recommendations and helping us with our bikes. The breakfast was convenient with lovely fresh bread and croissant. The room was small but comfortable with a great view of the chateau. The location is hard to beat!

We arrived wet and exhausted from cycling in the rain. The greeting, and help with our heavy ebikes, from the guys operating this hotel was beyond excellent. We got to our small but functional room which was very clean but without the decor or updating of newer larger hotels. The TV and desk were small, the shower worked with plenty of hot water. Linens satisfactory. There are issues with their wifi. But the best part of the stay was sitting in the small bar, that doubles as a reception area, and chatting with and laughing with the young men who manage this place. They truly made us feel welcome and will do the same for you.

El hotel tiene una gran situación, a menos de 10 minutos a pie de la estación y justo enfrente del castillo de Angers, perfecto para explorar la ciudad desde allí. El personal era extraordinariamente amable (además hablan o entienden español). La habitación y el baño no eran muy grandes pero suficientes para una estancia corta de 1-2 noches. El desayuno no lo probamos pero tienes la opción de tomar solo un café y un croissant en el bar del hotel lo cual es una buena opción si no quieres un desayuno copioso. El precio era muy razonable.

Las habitaciones no tienen servicios como cafetera, caja fuerte o nevera, estaría bien si pudieran incorporar alguno de estos servicios para completar su excelente acogida y la comodidad de la habitación en sí.

Nous avons été particulièrement bien renseignés en amont de notre arrivée, ma demande spéciale anniversaire a été respectée, l’accueil du début à la fin, le personnel ainsi que la direction ont été absolument adorables. Depuis l’hôtel nous avons pu découvrir la vieille ville le château la cathédrale et dîner le long de la Maine etc c’était parfait.

Le fait qu’il faille monter 3 étages sans ascenseur mais heureusement il y a un monte charge pour les bagages.

Les hôtes sont très accueillants. L'impression de retrouver de vieux amis qu'on n'avait pas vu depuis longtemps. L'hôtel est très bien placé, la literie est très confortable, les chambres sont propres. L'accueil bar café rend aussi l'hôtel très conviviale.

Isolation qui peut être un peu légère mais l'hôtel est calme donc ça s'est bien passé.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel. It is comfortable and well situated.

While last time we stayed at this hotel the welcome was effusive and in fact was really the nicest part of staying there, this time it couldn't have been more different. When we arrived, there was nobody at reception. We waited with our suitcases to eventually be greeted by a man appearing from a back room and addressing us with a very bored "Oui?". We checked in and instructions re the room and opening hours of reception were then snapped at us. We were very taken aback as, based on our first stay, this was the opposite of what we had been expecting and was very offputting. When we left the following day there were 2 different guys at reception who were both very pleasant. I guess we just got unlucky on our arrival.
