A1 Deluxe Apartments

The facility was very good in every way. It was in a central location, clean, comfortable and safe. As a group of 13 friends, we stayed in three apartments for two days. We were very pleased with everything. You should definitely try it.

Location

No handwash, napkins, wifi and we weren’t able to lock the balcony door, even after requesting they dint provide.

Apartment was spacious with a lot of natural light, and the host was responsive and helped us a lot with all problems. The view was directly to the sea. Rooms are big and convenient. Also the washing machine was in a surprisingly good condition.

The overall cleanliness of the apartment left much to be desired. Even after requesting a cleaning service, the place remained noticeably dusty. Bathroom: We had to clean the bathroom ourselves with thick bleach, as it was not properly cleaned. There were no basic essentials like toilet paper or soap provided, which was especially inconvenient since we arrived late in the evening and had to go out immediately to purchase them. The hot water is supplied via a boiler, so make sure to turn it on right away as it takes time to heat up. Towels: The apartment is advertised to accommodate six adults, but despite our group of four adults, we were initially provided with only two large and two small towels. I had to request extra towels. Kitchen: The kitchen was poorly equipped. Basic items such as a chopping board and a teapot were missing. The kettle was subpar, the knives were dull, and there was no dish soap or washing liquid provided. Additionally, there was no dishwasher, which made cleaning up more challenging. Air Conditioning: All the air conditioning units were full of black dust, even though the filters are washable. We ended up cleaning them ourselves. Thankfully, the weather was pleasant, so we didn't need to use the AC much. Bedrooms: There were no duvet covers provided, and the blankets were dusty. I had to request extra bedsheets from the host as a workaround. Beach and Amenities: The beach near the apartment was not very clean, and access to the pool required an additional fee. The area can be noisy in the evenings due to loud music. Reception: Guys at the reception desk don't speak English (or speak poorly), so I had to communicate host via WatsApp on every occasion.

Better to know that: - The place maintains a clean and organized environment. - It is situated right in front of the beach. - The place is in close proximity to a shopping center.

Better to be aware that: - The place is affiliated with the army, with almost everyone there fulfilling the obligatory army service. - The nearby shops surrounding the house play music around the clock.

Nothing. We left within 30 mins because there was a gas leak

There were 5 men in the apartment when we arrived. One was fiddling with the oven. Within minutes (the men left to check us in) there was a really strong smell of gas and we began to feel nauseous and headachy. We reported the leak and two men came and "checked" for the source of the leak with a lit cigarette lighter while we were in the apartment. The owner had disappeared and did not return for a long time (several people had to call him). He was rude and dismissive and told us to go into the apartment (he said it was safe even though he hadn't been in) or leave and not get a refund. We left because we were not reassured it was safe. Read earlier reviews too, but there was almost no water coming out of the taps when we were there too. Also, I believe these apartments are meant for Egyptian families only. All the women in the swimming pool and on the private beach and in the sea were fully covered. We had to move to the hotel next door for 5 days and so we could see that there were no non-Egyptian families staying for all that time.

The apartment is located on the beach, 10 meters from the sea - you open the balcony door and look out into the sea, the apartment is spacious and nicely furnished, the mattress is comfortable, shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. you won't go wrong if you choose to stay here
