Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Staff is so friendly and helpful. We had a fishwasher not working. They immediately arranged and installed a new one. The facilities are cleand and well attended. People always helpful and great value for the price you pay especially with kids.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Breakfast was basic, maybe too basic. There were bread, croissant, jams, nutella, eggs, juice, coffee. I don't recall additional food. I was expecting a bit more, also considering the cottage was not so cheap (according to my travel experience). I liked the possibility to have indoor and outdoor pool. I liked that it was near the woods in the green.
I think I was expecting better breakfast, more choices. I was expecting better cleaning of the cottage. Also it was without air conditioning, and at some point the temperature in the cottage reached 30 degrees, while outside was not so sunny, luckily. We slept not so good due to excessive warm (at least for us, we are not use to sleep with 30 degrees). I think in the winter is better. But price I think is too high with respect to the offer.

W jacuzzi było tyle chloru że nie dało się siedzieć .

Reviewed May 5, 2026Het huisje was echt top, ook het binnenzwembad en jacuzzi. 1 negatief punt: we waren er maar 1 overnachting en 's ochtends stonds er een heel tuinonderhoudsteam om met met bladblazers, kantmaaier en kleine tractor het gras te maaien. Dit duurde 2 uur, net onze enige ochtend daar, jammer genoeg niet in de rust van de natuur.

Beds were not great (technically called boxspring, but so lightweight that they moved with every turn I’d make). Recipe for backache if you’re >2m tall. No chairs to sit outside in the garden. Restaurant was nice, but not very welcoming that chairs are stacked up on the table during opening times.

We were very excited to spend a week here in what was described as a beautiful nature area in Builgum. Unfortunately, when we arrived we discovered the property is located directly underneath large high-voltage power lines. This was never shown in the photos or mentioned anywhere on the website. We even looked it up on Google maps. For guests with heart conditions or sensitivity to electromagnetic fields, this is important information that should be disclosed before booking. Because of health concerns we could not stay and had to leave immediately. The booking cost us about €1000. Despite explaining our situation kindly and asking if a partial refund or credit might be possible, the request was refused and our attempt to speak with management was cancelled. We only received a short email referring to their “terms and conditions.” We simply want future guests to be aware of this before booking so they can make an informed decision. It is sad when humans are treated with such little humanity; their only concern is making money.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Mooie plek in de Ardennen. Carrefour dicht in de buurt voor de boodschappen. Het huisje is efficient ingericht, ook met 5 personen (zoals ons) was het prettig verblijven. Binnen en buitenbad waren netjes verzocht. Mooie wandelroutes vanuit het park!
De WiFi. Die was telkens wel te 'repareren' door de stekkers van het modem er uit te halen en weer in te pluggen, maar een continue Wifi is wel prettiger met tieners ;).

Reviewed Nov 6, 2025De inrichting van de chalet luxe met 2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers was aangenaam. De ruime living en goed uitgeruste keuken waren eveneens ideaal voor ons verblijf. De positie in een groen dal was zeer rustig mooie uitzichten. Zwembad en restaurant waren een pluspunt.
De 2-zitsbank en fauteuils waren wel een beetje verouderd.

Reviewed Oct 3, 2025Beautiful location. 20 mins away from Spa circuit. Very nice meal at the restaurant and friendly and welcoming staff. Gardens are lovely and the walking routes were excellent. Malmedy had some really pleasant bars and restaurants..
Parts of the accommodation looked and felt tired. Swimming pool and spa area were very crowded and noisy with swimming lessons and the changing rooms couldn't cope with the number of people using it.

Wij komen hier al een paar jaar. Van ons mag de (slaap)bank in de woonkamer wel eens vervangen worden. Deze zitten echt niet goed meer (uitgezakt) en het is niet hygiënisch voor gasten die de bank echt als zitplek willen gebruiken. Het schoonmaakpakketje met vaatdoekje, vuilniszakje, spons etc mag ook wel terugkomen.

Clients are expected to bring almost everything (except pillows/duvets!). My husband forgot to bring coffee filters (we don't use them at home) and paid 3.60 euro for a coffee from a machine.
