Super clean, recently renovated with eye for detail, great bath room. Anna is super friendly! Beautiful garden, with sunny terrace and petanque court. Perfect for car parking.

The toilet is not close to the bed rooms, and the stairs to the bedroom on the 2nd floor is very small and not easy to climb with luggage

Mettre sa voiture à l'intérieur et la voir sous les yeux une très grande cour un très beau jardin on voit que c'est une maison qui est entretenu avec soin la literie est parfaite nous n'avons pas essayé les chambres du deuxième étage sinon cuisine fonctionnelle avec tout ce qu'il faut canapé très confortable la télé facile à régler des des souvenirs de mamie Janine la première propriétaire point nous avons été très bien reçu l'accueil très bien avec Thierry je crois et Anne qui est venu après s'assurer que tout allait bien à recommander une très belle terrasse

Jolie maison très spacieuse avec beaucoup d'équipements. Grand jardin et terrasse agréable. Très calme. Stationnement privé. Anne est très accueillante.

Alles was inorde.

The owner messaged us before and asked to text when we were half hour away. They then met us when we arrived, and showed us round the property and explained everything we needed to know. The property was bigger than expected, and had everything we needed for our stay. Washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and laundry liquid were provided, as well as soaps in the bathroom and toilet. There were lots of towels and tea towels, and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking in. The garden is beautiful and huge! There was a pétanque court in the garden which we enjoyed using. The view from back is beautiful. The river is a short walk away, past a cemetery with Commonwealth war graves. There is a small supermarket about 5 minutes drive away in France, which stocked everything we needed. We visited to go to the Menin Gate to honour a family member, and the location was perfect for this type of trip. When we got home we had a lovely message from the hosts.

The stairs to the first floor where the two double bedrooms were are steep, and the tall people in our group found they had to duck to avoid hitting their heads! The stairs from the first floor to the twin room at the top are much steeper. This wasn't a massive problem but worth noting if you are bringing people with mobility issues or very young. Also the light switch to the top bedroom was at the bottom of the stairs, so a torch might be useful! There is no kettle, but there were two coffee machines and several coffee pods.

Bed comfort could have been better. There is only one toilet so if you’re staying two families it’s less ideal.

Tout était bien, pour trouver quelques chose, Escalier un peu raide, et si des personnes doivent aller au toilette de la nuit, pas très pratique vu que la toilette est au rez de chaussée.

L'accueil, elle a pu nous expliquer l'équipement, nous faire le tour de la maison. Le logement est propre, spacieux, même l'extérieur est superbe après nous y sommes allés par terre de pluie glaciale donc nous n'avons pas pu en profiter mais cela donne envie de revenir au printemps.

L’espace de vie ainsi que l’équipement complet du lieu. La vue sur la campagne et « la Cathédrale de la Lys » 😉 Le confort et l’accueil de la propriétaire. Au plaisir d’y revenir lors de notre prochain passage dans la région.

Tout était parfait, nous n'avons manqué de rien. Logement très bien équipé, très confortable, literie au top. Propriétaire agréable et très sympathique. Tres bonne expérience, nous y retournerons sans hésiter. Merci.

This is a great house with lots of amenities and in beautiful and quiet surroundings. Everything was clean and comfortable. The hosts are also friendly and accommodating, they personally welcomed us and gave great recommendations.
