The room is spacious and comfy with a nice view. Drinking water is available and free.

I booked 3 rooms. 2 by the pool with a kitchen and 1 by the gate without a kitchen. 2 of 3 rooms had no electric kettle and staff simply said they did not have electric kettle to provide. Listing amenities that do not exist is called false advertising. The location is in a very remote place which means it is unsafe to go out on your own in the evening. There is no staff from afternoon until the morning of the next day. They only come when someone needs someone to cook. Staff will not come in the morning if nobody asks for breakfast even if you have breakfast included in your reservation. You only have 2 choices for breakfast if it is included in your reservation. Everything else you have to pay extra. Lunch/Dinner options are very limited and overpriced for simple filipino dishes that are good for 1 person (as staff informed). In the evening, my parents staying at the room near the gate had a hard time sleeping with all the banging on the gate between 1am to 3am. The staff were quite unaccommodating when we requested an early check-out and asked if breakfast could be provided in some form. Other hotels have offered simple options such as hot water, instant coffee, and a hard-boiled egg for guests leaving early in the morning.

Great place and location with lovely views. Big room with a big balcony. We loved the well-maintained infinity pool and the access to the beach where you can see sea turtles just a short swim away. Friendly staff and good food.

The staff make up for all the misinformation provided. They were phenomenal and we have friends for life. And I loved all of the sea turtles around the area

Lets start with the owner Eliaz. We had a reservation for 58 days which we paid $1858. He canceled our reservation 5 days before we were to arrive. He said there was a leak in the room which we later found out, there was no leak in any of the rooms. He said Booking would relocate us which no one contacted us or did. He then contacted us the next day stating he could give us the room for 53 days for $1700 if we paid him directly to his bank acct. (which I have his acct info). When we said we didn't trust that he reopened the booking on the site and charged us $2095 for 5 less days. We later found out he had double booked the room for the last 5 days of our trip. The booking mentions "Free Breakfast Included" but he then tries to get the girls to charge you for anything over 200PHP which doesn't cover any complete meal and they said coffee and juice was NOT included. We refused to pay anything for the breakfasts because of how he overcharged us with the rebooking. The website on Booking states there is Aerobics, daily housekeeping, Spa, and hiking. All of which there is none of. The girls, if they had time might do Zumba on their own and would invite you to join but that did not happen once during our stay. Housekeeping was weekly if you asked. The "Spa" was the owners inviting you to ask the employees for a massage which is not something they enjoyed doing nor are they trained for. Also the smoke detector was missing for the first 5 weeks of our stay because they said the owner hates paying for batteries. The owner is a sketchy not honest man. While we were there there were people who had paid through Expedia and he refused their bookings last minute telling the girls to ignore and refuse them. And others who were screaming as they arrived stating they had paid him directly were told they had no room available for them. The site also states that the rooms are soundproof and they are far from that.

Schöner Pool und Anlage, dem Preis entsprechend mit wunderschöner Aussicht. Schöne überdachte Küche auf der Terrasse. Jedes Zimmer ist eigentlich ein kleines Haus. Frühstück ist inkl., soweit ich weiß. Ganz in der Nähe kann man Schlidkröten beobachten.

Die letzten Meter sind etwas holprig. Es gibt keinen oder nur einen Mini-Strand.

The staff always treats us very excellent when we stay there! They take care of every aspect of our stay and are so helpful. Because of the staff, we will always book stay here!

C’est propre et moderne. Belle vue avec une belle piscine On peut voir les tortues depuis l’hôtel.

Un simple plaid comme couverture et les oreillers sont très dur en mousse. Le restaurant n’est ouvert que le matin et le midi, restauration simple. Nous avons prit l’option avec petit déjeuner compris. Mais à notre arrivé on a dit que c’était dans la limite de 200 pesos/ personne. Il y a donc obligatoirement un petit supplément à chaque petit-déjeuner pour qu’il soit complet.

The couple who were working there were nice and friendly. They were helpful and prepared nice breakfast for us. We saw turtles swimming in the ocean near the place.

The location was far from everything. There was a restaurant in the vicinity but staff starts their shifts at 8am and dinner if you want food you need to do the last order at 6:30 pm. There is an Italian restaurant 10-15 min from the place. No TV in the room.

Super séjour dans ce resort où le personnel était vraiment agréable et serviable ! La vue sur la piscine à débordement et la mer est vraiment chouette. Il n’y a pas de coraux devant l’hôtel mais si vous traversez pour aller sur l’île d’en face en snorkeling, vous verrez de nombreuses grosses tortues !

Quelques suggestions pour améliorer l’expérience : - ajouter un drap au lit ( la couverture ce n’est vraiment pas agréable ). Par ailleurs, le matelas est vraiment trop dur. - ajouter des fruits à la carte du restaurant ( nous avons acheté nos propres fruits et le personnel nous les a gentiment découpés ). - les petits dej sont inclus mais uniquement jusqu’à 200 pesos. Rendre les petits dej totalement inclus serait une bonne chose. - que le gérant soit un peu plus gentil avec les clients … nous l’avons eu une fois au téléphone, il était un peu rustre … cela devait être une mauvaise journée !

No extras in bathroom, toilet. Last residents washing up left in kitchen. Staff gave us 1 hours notification for no evening meal. No one on premises at night. Could do with a list of contacts for transport (trike) due to it being so far out of village. Price included full board but they only included breakfast up to 200pessos and charged for additional food, coffee etc. didn’t notify us of this until last day! Low security with no staff around at night time.

It was a great place given the price. It was basic, but clean. The pool was nice to have and we enjoyed snorkeling with the turtles. The staff were very kind and helpful; they got us everything we needed. We stayed four nights to dive with a company in the area. It was a great location for our purposes.

The mattresses were foam and a little firm for us, but better than I was expecting. The one issue that was hard was the incomplete ferry information given to us before arrival. We were told to go to the port two hours ahead of sailing time to buy tickets, but the whole day was sold out days prior. It would have been better if we’d known we could buy the ferry tickets online. We found another solution, but it was more difficult than it should have been.

Nous regrettons ne pas avoir eu d’accueil en arrivant, aucune explication meme sur la chambre. Propreté de la chambre qui laisse à desirer, absence de drap sur le lit et salle de bain mal nettoyée

Wir haben mehrere Nächte in dem Tulang Diot View Resort verbracht. Eins vorweg: Die Angestellten sind sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Wer keinen Scooter hat oder kein Tuktuk rufen möchte, kann auch in der Unterkunft sehr gut essen. Die Aussicht ist ebenfalls traumhaft. Man kann vom Resort aus direkt ins Meer gehen und schnorcheln. Angeblich gibt es dort auch Schildkröten. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß, haben eine leise Klimaanlage und ein großes Badezimmer. Negativ ist jedoch, dass der Durchlauferhitzer schon seit längerer Zeit demontiert wurde (bezogen auf ältere Kommentare). Für 44 € pro Nacht ist das enttäuschend.

Beworben wurde außerdem ausgezeichnetes WLAN. Am ersten Tag wurde uns jedoch erklärt, dass das Glasfasernetz auf der Insel nicht gut wäre und deshalb auf Starlink umgestellt wurde. Bei uns war das WLAN an den letzten Tagen nicht vorhanden. Man könnte sagen: „First world problem”, jedoch ist es für Menschen, die arbeiten wollen oder müssen, ein wichtiges Anliegen. Ich kann natürlich nicht sagen, ob es mittlerweile stabil läuft. Noch ein kleines Anliegen, was den Besitzer betrifft: Für den einen oder anderen vielleicht auch nicht weiter dramatisch, uns hat es gestört. Es ist in Ordnung, wenn man jeden Morgen schnorcheln geht, um die Schildkröten zu sehen, aber danach muss man als Besitzer nicht in Badehose und ohne Oberteil frühstücken, wenn auch Gäste anwesend sind. Da könnte man durchaus den Abstand zwischen Gast und Besitzer wahren. Den einen oder anderen stört es nicht, wir fanden es unangemessen. Am meisten hat uns gestört, dass uns im Resort niemand darauf hingewiesen hat, dass sich östlich der Philippinen ein Taifun der Klasse 1 zusammenbraut und die Fähren von/nach Camotes somit nicht fahren werden, wenn wir abreisen möchten. Ein Tag früher abzureisen hätte uns drei Tage des Wartens gespart. Vielleicht hätten wir das auch selbst in Erfahrung bringen können, aber von einem Host erwarte ich einen entsprechenden Hinweis.

what I didn't like was the transportation from port to the resort since the manager was not able to contact us on time to fetch us. the signal there was not strong.

- Vegetarische Essensauswahl ist sehr klein, wobei aber Spezialwünsche berücksichtigt werden - Das Wifi war oft unzuverlässig - Ab und zu Lärm durch Nachbarn oder Tiere in der Nacht

Lovely pool and views.

The beds are terrible. Spent the night on the foam mattress. Only a small thin blanket - not enough to share. Meals take around 45 minutes - and that is with us being the only customers. Location is isolated and would need to walk several hundred metres along a muddy road. Owner has no boundaries - just approached my wife and i with no top on - and gut hanging out - doesn't feel like a hotel, more like we are sharing a house. He means well - but not every guest wants to be approached by a man with no top on. The final straw was watching one of the staff throw rubbish into the small cove heading out to the sea. Absolutely terrible. We check out the next day and just spent the one night there.

Beautiful location, lovely boutique hotel with kind owner and staff. Great ocean/ island views from your room or the infinity pool.

A great location although distant from everything. This is compensated by the friendliness of personal, great pool and a small beach. Don’t forget to get a scooter and you will be all good.

Sehr schöner Infinity Pool, Frühstück gut, Zimmer alle mit Meeresblick. Liegt direkt am Meer. Roller kann direkt gemietet werden, ohne Bürokratie. Man kann Transfer und Pickup direkt beim Personal erfragen, wird organisiert. Es können Bootstouren U.A. direkt im Resort zu den Standartpreisen gebucht werden. Meeresblick vom Restaurant. Man kann den ganzen Tag günstig im Restaurant essen. Zimmer ist groß mit Split Aircon, ganz neu.

Das Einzige, was man in Kauf nehmen muss ist, dass zwischen Hauptstraße und Resort eine Schotterpiste liegt, die ca. 300m lang ist und überwunden werden muss.

La piscine

Nous avons séjournée a 8 personnes. Pas de pression d'eau pour la douche, on a du remplir un grand sceau d'eau pour prendre sa douche... Nettoyage de la chambre a la demande... le personnel commence a travailler a 8h30, donc si vous voulez déjeuner plus tôt impossible. le temps qu'il prépare nous avons déjeuné au plus tôt a 9h00. La poubelles qui était sur la terrasse n'a pas été vidé lors de notre séjour. Le soir après 20h00 plus personne a l'hôtel, donc si vous voulez quoique ce soit vous attendez le lendemain. Le matelas confortable mais comme couette vous avez droit juste a un drap de lit. Le seul point positif est la piscine et l'accès a la mer via quelque marche et la vue sur l'ile en face. Et on peut dire aussi que personne ne vous dérange et on est tranquille.

Spacious

Staff needs training on how to maintain cleanliness and better customer service. We arrived with a dirty house, no bedsheets, stained pillow, used soap in the bathroom. Rough road leading to this resort with no signs or directions and name on app is different from name of the actual resort not searchable on waze or gmaps. Unfortunately, we ended up having a flat tire due to construction happening on the shared road with concrete nails scattered on the rough driveway. Never again.

The location was incredible, with the best view of Camotes. The staff and owner are really nice. The pool is very good and there is an easy access to the sea if you want to go snorkeling.

Beautiful spot with a great view of the crystal clear water overlooking Tulang Diot island. Spacious rooms with huge bathrooms and nice hot shower with great water pressure. Clean and modern and very comfortable. Nice bed too. We swam in the bay below the hotel and saw many sea turtles and a few sea snakes. The owner was thoughtful and friendly and genuinely tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The staff went out of their way for us as well. Highly recommended!

A wonderful place to be if you want a relaxing beach experience without the noise and hassle of big resorts. The sound and view of the ocean when you wake up or when you retire to bed at night. The crew made the whole experience even better, they made us feel like we were home.

We were initially concerned about the construction based on reviews, but to our surprise, it's already completed. This place turned out to be the perfect getaway for us. Just 50 meters from the shore, we were able to see huge, majestic turtles. The food was also delicious, although we recommend ordering in advance since the staff is minimal. We didn’t mind this at all—it made the experience feel more homey.

Will be great when all works will finish - I stayed in May and pool was still under construction. Has a small kitchen which is a big plus. Joanna is very nice and responsive, and is ready to help. Modern AC, fan and comfortable bed. Quiet area, no roosters or karaoke.

Shower doesn’t have pressure

Excellent, has everything you need, very thoughtful luxury furnishings, great location w/sea view & access, immaculately clean, friendly owners & staff. This place is new establishment and the pool & restaurant once finished will be amazing. The cottages have energy efficient split-style AC, bed is large & comfy, bathroom is nice w/hot shower great water pressure, kitchen outside and close by via scooter to Camotes Freediving (5 min) for Freediving training/courses/competitions, and for food, Iola Bella, & Hidden Huts (8-15 min) or 25min to town. Owners are very responsive via message & friendly, helpful! They even went above & beyond to accommodate a friend. Would definitely recommend & stay again once pool & restaurant are complete!

Currently still under construction but owner informed prior of daytime work noises. But soon it will be finished. A little expensive but worth the comfort.
