Location! Location! Location! Did I say LOCATION?! Incredible scenery, amazing staff and warm host! The food is good. Those fat bikes took my breath away going up the hill - literally!

The location is hard to beat - that alone would ensure steady bookings. But the staff at Kob Inn go the extra mile, and that makes it an absolute joy. The food… delicious.

Very clean with exceptional views & very friendly staff. Their food was devine, kudos to the chef, best steak I have ever tasted.

Meals were great, nice variety and very tasty. We loved being able to look at the sea from our little chalet. Owners were warm and friendly and came and spent time with each of the guests. Beaches were beautiful

We got lost on the way and the road was really poor but that is not the fault of Kob inn!

Incredible location! Any closer to the sea, and you'd be in it! Fantastic room, secluded with an incredible sea view and falling asleep to the sound of the waves at night, was absolutely priceless. You are treated like family, and all we want to do is go back.

With nothing to bother you except the roll and crash of the Indian Ocean, there's nothing not to like about the Kob Inn. After a few hours bumping along the regional road you are well rewarded by the warm welcome, stunning views and serenity of this wild coast resort. We hit on a storm so glad of a sturdy vehicle for the drive. That said, 10/10 on all fronts for this hidden gem. Food was great, plentiful and homely. Truly felt like we have been invited into a lovely little community and made to feel very welcome Fond memories- the smell and sound of the ocean, exploring the rugged coastline and deserted beaches, taking an outdoor shower overlooking the ocean, watching whales and dolphins play and the night sky, oh boy the night sky! If you're after peace and quiet with unpretentious people with a community feel this is the spot for you. If you want the frills, glamour and luxury common to most all inclusive resorts this is probably not the place for you

The roads

The location is good but road to the resort is not good at all, I don't think I will come again my car was damaged . Breakfast was not good at all , no variety at all , we had to wait for oders to be prepared by one person Please improve on breakfast and make buffet so that one can choose what to eat .

If breakfast would be served as buffet with variety of items to chose from .

Lovely, relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff and great serive and food! Lots of comfortable hikes and beautiful beaches, rivers, rock pools and views to explore! Definitely ideal for a family holiday!! Worth the visit!!!

Location is amazing, the chef and the staff are caring and attentive to the visitors. Really enjoyed the braai.

Kob Inn is no ordinary beach resort! It is a destination! Kob Inn is an institution on the Wild Coast where generations of South Africans have been going to unwind for over a century! And it is a stunning destination to immerse yourself in nature too! The Wild Coast does not disappoint! Dolphins, whales and bird life paddling on the Qora river, is fantastic! Beach walks, driftwood and swimming in the Indian Ocean so good for the soul! And Dean, the chef! Thanks so much for your great creations in such a remote part of the world! Kob Inn on the Wild Coast is no ordinary beach resort! This is a fantastic destination in a remote part of the Eastern Cape which South Africans have sought out to unwind in nature for over a century! And whales, dolphins and bird life do not disappoint! Wild waves, swimming in the Indian Ocean and deserted beach walks amongst twisted driftwood and pitch black and smooth basalt rocky shores sooth the soul!
