Lovely stay with exceptional care and hospitality. The flat offers beautiful views of Arunachala, which made the experience even more special. The bed was very comfortable, the AC worked perfectly, and everything was clean and well maintained. On my last day, I accidentally left my AirPods behind, and the hosts went above and beyond — they personally delivered them to me and even took me to the bus stop. Such kindness is rare and truly appreciated. This was actually my second stay here, and I plan to return every time I visit Tiruvannamalai. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and caring place to stay.

I loved the hosting, facilities, the terrace and homely ambience in general, if i ever come back, I'd be staying here.

Basic needs provided

The cleaning lady was nice and hand-washed my laundry free of charge. You can walk to Ramanashramam in 15 min or so.

RED FLAG: manager of the building was acting nice for a while, offering rides and advice. But in the end it seems like he was trying to figure out how to extort extra money from me (typical swindler who talks about Indian saints and religious topics to give you a good impression -- while his main objective is to make easy money). If you're a foreigner, make sure to avoid the manager's low-key offers for 'weed' in order to prevent him from extorting you later on. TIP: If you are going to Tiru, just walk around the streets near Amrutham restaurant, and get a good deal for an AC room (as low as 800 INR per night). This guesthouse is a SAUNA without AC so get ready to sweat all day and night. Building has no WIFI and this neighborhood of Tiruvanamalai doesn't have anything interesting. You have to walk 10-15 min to eat and get everything else. The rickshaw mafia in Tiru won't allow you to get a ride for less than 150 INR, even just to go a single KM down the street (they prevented Uber/Ola from operating in the city, despite the millions of tourists coming in). This hotel is hard to find in maps, so don't follow the street address you find on the internet (it's a fake address).

If there's ac, it would be more better

If they provide AC in the property it will good , during summer it’s too hot to stay. Other than these everything is amazing.

Entire family rooms are free of space and good hygiene with basic amenities. The location is near to Ramanashramam (15 min walk)

I felt some areas are need to improve like providing room AC, Exhaust fans at washrooms.

I feel so welcomed, the owner is very friendly. He was so flexible to make adjustments to make very comfortable on the terrace which I love it because of a blessed sightseeing of Arunachala I have privacy and he allowed me to sleep comfortably at the terrace with a mattress and mosquito net. I wanna repeat soon and stay forever! The neighbourhood is great, tea shop, hairdressers, food store and friendly people. Location is great to go the centre or ashrams. Sometimes could be too loud the main road traffic, but It’s India! Can’t be so quiet I rest anyway no issues , if someone sensible to sleep make sure you bring earplugs, but this is a general advice to visit India

Our stay was made truly enjoyable thanks to Sai, the owner, who was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. He went above and beyond to provide us with all the information we needed about Arunachalam, including excellent recommendations for places to eat—whether it was tiffin, lunch, or local transportation options. Sai also assisted us with details about bus services to Bangalore, which was incredibly convenient. The homestay itself was spotless, peaceful, and perfectly located on the bypass road. A wonderful experience offering outstanding value for money.

I had a great experience staying in this room. It was spacious, clean n very comfortable, making it perfect for a group of 6-8 people. The atmosphere was welcoming n the owner was friendly n accommodating. Overall, a wonderful stay I would highly recommend it!

The host is awesome. He will go out of his way to help you in the best way he can. The water in the bathroom is heated, so you can have a hot shower if you like. Also the location is very close to Sri Ramana Ashram. I definitely recommend this place and will come back for sure!

There was nothing I didn't like

We had a very happy stay hear, it's a good accomodation for a family of 7-8 people and facilities are also nice.

Very far off from temple, inconvinience and had expected a bigger room but given a small one for the same rate

Expected a bigger room but given a small one for the same price, very far off from main mandir, rooms too small Bathrooms are too small that sometimes it bangs your head, no hangers to hang clothes neither in the room or washroom. No hotels nearby except for the tea drink shops. Better facilities expected....

Great location, comfy and clean place with nice view of the mountain, friendly amazing hosts that will go above and beyond to make your stay easeful and memorable, highly recommend.

Easy to access and comfortable stay.

Bathroom and toilet is only one is there which is not at all enough for group stay. It's comfort for family stay not more than 6 people.
