Fabulous, historic house, full of antiquities and interesting objects. It has not been modernised so retains an authentic.feel. Transported to.a different era Comfy beds Lovely breakfast Beautiful.grounds Friendly and informative host
The fact that I only spent 2 nights
Loved the quirkiness of the building . Room was very comfortable and a good size.
A fabulous quiet location. We felt very comfortable in this beautiful family home. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely visit again and recommend a visit.
Nothing
We enjoyed the cooked breakfast but would have liked some fruit juice as a starter and perhaps some toast and marmalade to finish. The large bed was extremely comfortable and luxurious.
I would have liked the bathroom door to close properly but I suppose that is all part of an old house with its own character!
Genomgående mycket god service under min vistelse.
Det finns absolut ingenting att klaga på.
I enjoyed a very short stay at the Manor, it was full of character, peaceful and just lovely.
I loved the history of the building and the beautiful antiques – the house has a wonderful feeling and The Wingate Room was fabulous.

Spectacular old property steeped in history makes you feel a part of it
Nothing to dislike
Incredible location, steeped in history.
We had to leave…. Only a fleeting stop before flying from Luton.
Absolutely gorgeous home, full of art, charm and brilliant host, would gladly go back :)
Lovely old Manor House and friendly owner
Very friendly, interesting host. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful, really comfortable accommodation with an amazing bath. Great location for a wedding at Woburn!
Great quirky house with a rich history and fab breakfast
lovely and characterful
the bed was very comfortable and the host was very attentive and considerate to our needs
David and his propert were just so interesting and we had some wonderful conversations
The history comfy bed and massive bath
Very nice and accommodating
The property was beautiful, comfortable and very charming.
A beautiful, historic house - it felt like stepping back through time. Wonderfully spacious and comfortable bedroom, and fantastic and friendly hosts.
Great building, so much history and really comfortable room. I liked the fact there was no TV! Really good breakfast

David the host was a joy to deal with . He greeted us warmly and we spent such a lovely time over breakfast chatting with him. Breakfast was delicious too! The property, The Manor, is old and full of character and yet still very homely. Our room was not en-suite but had a private bathroom just down the corridor but that was no problem whatsoever. Would very happily stay again . The nearest pub down the road ( a minutes walk) The Carpenters was closed but the Old Sun just a minute further away was welcoming but did not sell food.
Nothing !
Location, the hospitality of the owner was excellent. The description in the advert spot on regarding the house which is very old and slightly quirky which I thought was a bonus. The information provided in the description online is excellent.
No negative points during my stay.
I had a wonderful stay at Harlington Manor last night. The house itself is beautiful, but what really made the experience special was the host’s exceptional hospitality — I felt genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and you can tell the ingredients were thoughtfully chosen and prepared with care. A truly lovely place to stay. Highly recommended.
The house was stunning with an interesting history. The room was spacious and unique. Breakfast was lovely. The host was readily available and not only told us all about the house, but indulged us in a tour.
The manor house was an amazing building with much history, including lovely grounds. The breakfast was lovely.

All of it - exceptional quirky (in best sense). Great advance information about everything. Host - just the best and most friendly. Harington Manor - staying in a listed manor house is an experience not to be missed. Advice about where to eat on a Monday (most eateries closed) was accurate and food excellent. Breakfast faultless. Stay here instead of soulless corporates if you want to stay in Bedfordshire.

Beautiful 600 year old Manor House. Grounds beautiful
Cold but January
Fantastic building with so much character. Bedroom spacious and comfortable, we had a very good nights sleep. Host accommodating and friendly and breakfast delicious. Would stay here again
An amazing property.
Beautiful old house with comfy beds. Host was a lovely chap. Breakfast exceptional
Check-in could have been easier. Host was a lovely chap but wasn’t there at check-in. Made finding one’s room rather challenging, especially after a long day.
Beautiful Manor House with so much history. Very comfortable stay and delicious breakfast. We were made to feel very welcome.

Wonderful property & extremely welcoming host. Great location.
A peaceful little English village that is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The breakfast was a true English breakfast — incredibly delicious and served in a very generous portion. Sorry again that I couldn’t finish it all afterward! 😊 Not far from the accommodation, following the host’s recommendation, we walked over to the local pub, where we enjoyed some great beers in the evening, and then returned the next day for a truly delicious lunch. The accommodation itself is beautiful and a true gem for anyone who would like to immerse themselves a little in the past. As archaeologists, this place was absolutely perfect for us. Since we are planning to return to the area next year as well, we will definitely spend another one or two nights here again. We are very happy that we chose to stay here and that we were able to relax a little in this wonderful place.
We didn't find.
David was an excellent host. We arrived very late after a delayed flight but David came to greet us. Our breakfast was delicious and enjoyed with the other guests.
Very old manor house The bed was old but comfortable
Was a little bit cold
Quirky and interesting old Manor House. Friendly and interesting host. Lovely breakfast.
As the weather was particularly cold the central heating struggled to warm the rooms, in particular the breakfast room. We had been warned what to expect by the host and it didn’t detract from the enjoyment of our stay.
Interesting house, interesting host

David, the host, converted me to seeking out 18th century teapots and 18th century antiques after drinking from a teapot dating from 1775 at breakfast which was very nice. We were in the room in which John Bunyan was condemned. I had to pinch myself. Far from cold, the heating in the bedroom was on and we were very warm. What more could one ask for?
The bed was a little high off the ground but we managed and were thankfully warm. The bathroom was equally grand and the shower worked well, but it was not ideal for someone with disabilities.
Fantastic property, wonderful breakfast and an amazing host, friendly and knowledgeable
Absolutely stunning accommodation and faultless hosting. Enjoyed every moment and will return.

Second stay in 5 weeks , very nice room , David is a great host, very good breakfast, ideally situated for train into London, look forward to staying again in the future.
Great historical building with oodles of character and charm. David was a great host.
Very unique place to stay. Highly recommended.
A grand old country house with large comfortable rooms that are furnished with period pieces.
A little better lighting for the winter evenings outside between the parking and the house.
The property is located in a lovely, safe village, with local amenities. The property itself is a beautiful, historic house which has been lovingly looked after. My room was enormous, big bed, very comfortable mattress, lovely linens, and all the facilities you could need. My shower room and toilet was at the end of the hallway, with underfloor heating (bliss) and the shower was lovely and hot. John was very chatty and friendly, an interesting guy and very informative about the history of the place and what was available nearby. I would definitely stay here again.
The house is creaky and doors can be heavy and another guest tended to let doors slam at bedtime, so if you're planning staying, please be respectful of other guests! Nothing about the property I did not like.
Very tasty and great location
Tranquil Manor House set on the edge of the village. Fitted out with period carpets and quality dark oak furniture.
Breakfast was superb. Home made granola a big hit.
Cold during the day, but that is on the website and the house is 600 years old - so worth putting up with.
Beautiful old manor house in a great location. David went above and beyond for our stay and cooked a fabulous breakfast. A fantastic pub in walking distance in the village for an evening meal too.
We had a fantastic stay at Harlington Manor with its charmingly quirky manor house atmosphere and our engaging host who added a personal touch to our experience. If your expecting a standard B&B then this isn't it, check the History and you will understand why you should stay there.
Fantastic place to stay and nice and central for our purposes , lovely quirky features , great breakfast and excellent host , would stay again for sure

Wonderful building, very welcoming host David and staff Magda. Excellent stay to recharge your batteries. Looking forward to going back and staying longer.
Nothing...All very very nice.
Very old and charming house, delightfully quirky room.
Nothing about the property. David is a well meaning host but seemingly totally unaware that a full-on inquisition (‘So, round the table, what do YOU do?’) over breakfast is not what all guests relish.
The location was very tranquil and peaceful, had one of the best sleeps ever.

Wonderful opportunity to stay in a property over 600 years old. Historically so interesting, beautifully furnished with lots of interesting antiques throughout the house. Very comfortable bed . Delicious made to order breakfast Made most welcome by a very accommodating and interesting host. Will certainly come again just for the house but plenty in the area to enjoy too

Loved the architecture, history, casual atmosphere.
All great.
Historically pleasant. Comfortable. Great location.
Jacuzzi / bath / shower needs sorting out as does not drain away. No hair dryer….that I could see. ? Maybe a full length mirror. I know b&b is different to hotels but I don’t really like finding the owners clothes in the wardrobes.
This unique house is over 600 years old, filled with amazing original features and beautiful antiques but really comfortable with modern bathrooms and stunning bedrooms and sitting rooms. David is really friendly and happy to explain its fascinating history, even while cooking a brilliant breakfast. Staying there is like stepping back several centuries but without any of the discomfort. I wish I'd stayed longer.
