Extremely disappointing experience – misleading room description and unacceptable treatment We booked what was advertised as a Family Room, described as having one large/king bed and two sofa beds, for our children. Based on this description, we expected the room to comfortably accommodate them. When we arrived, the hotel staff took and checked the passports and allowed the children to check in without raising any issue or requesting any additional payment. The reservation had already been paid through Booking.com. The next day, however, the staff suddenly claimed that the room was booked for only one person and demanded additional payment for each child. This was extremely confusing considering that they had checked the passports at check-in and said nothing about any problem then. The room itself also did not match the description we booked. Instead of two sofa beds, there was only one sofa, which did not even convert into a bed, plus an extra bed. Basic necessities were also missing: there was no toilet paper, no proper supply of towels, and no blankets. During our stay, the room was not cleaned once, nor were basic supplies replenished. The worst part was the way we were treated when my husband and I came to collect our children. A female staff member began shouting at us, insisting that the room was for one person and telling my husband and me that we were not even allowed to enter the room we had paid for. We repeatedly explained that we were not staying in that room; we had separate accommodation and were simply coming to collect our children. The discussion became heated, and while ordering us out, the staff member repeatedly used the word “Arab / Arap” while telling us to leave. Whatever explanation the hotel may have for the reservation issue, referring to our Arab identity during an argument while ordering us out made the experience feel humiliating and discriminatory.

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt im House of Good Things. Die Zimmer waren vollumfänglich ausgestattet. Es gab eine Klimaanlage, einen Wasserkocher und auch einen Kühlschrank. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Auch das Personal war stets zuvorkommend. Wir wurden herzlich aufgenommen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Für uns gab es nichts zu beanstanden.

the room was so dirty the staff were absent , there is a cazy woman there shés so dangerouse.

Buena ubicación en Kaleici.Limpieza muy bien,es de agradecer .Lo único una silla con manchas en la tapicería del asiento que daba asco,recomiendo cambiarla o limpiarla

Las fotos no se corresponden con la realidad,parece mucho mejor en las fotos de lo que luego es.la habitación no es bonita para nada.Habitación doble enana con un baño minúsculo.Solo estuvimos una noche ya que llegamos de madrugada,pero no lo recomiendo para más días Tampoco me gustó que en la información hablan de la 10 min al aeropuerto y lo metes en Google Maps y salen 30 minutos,engañoso ya que lo cogimos por la cercanía del aeropuerto ya que llegábamos muy de noche El chico que los atendió correcto pero no amigable ni majo

Struttura in pieno centro, parcheggio abbastanza comodo (nonostante la zona sia a traffico limitato con un po’ di fortuna e pazienza si riesce a gestire).

Nella nostra camera il bagno era invivibile, non avevamo carta igienica e il centro storico la sera è davvero caotico e rumoroso (per via dei tanti locali in zona).

Что без разрешения и без предупреждения заходили в номер, когда нас не было - это было самое худшее. В отеле не дают утюг, могут сами погладить стоимость глажки одной вещи 100 лир при этом оплачивать картой нельзя сходили в соседний отель они любезно нам дали погладить вещи бесплатно)

The location is good.

There were mosquitoes in the room. The shower hose connected to the showerhead was broken, causing the water flow to be very weak and making it difficult to take a proper shower.

Location was great and it was quiet.

The first room they gave us was in the basement and immediately I smelled mold and it started bothering my sinuses. I asked to switch rooms which he said there was only one room available unless we wanted to pay 2000 more. We switched to a really small room and this room smelled like someone spilled a bottle of super strong axe cologne in there (a horrible smell). It started to give us a headache. I think they were trying to cover up the smell of the drain in the bathroom. I thought it would air out when we went for food. But when we got back the smell was the same and it didn’t go away for the whole night even with the window open and fan going. The smell stuck to our clothes and we can still smell it the next day. Don’t give people on holiday moldy rooms or rooms that smell of super strong fragrance that gives people migraines!!

With heatwave AC unit could have been stronger.

My wife and I just stayed here one night before leaving for a road trip up the coast, so we didn't experience the hotel and area for long, but we were happy with the stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, and was actually bigger than it looked in the photos. We were able to check in early. If you want to stay in the old city, this is a great spot. The hotel is on a quiet street and we didn't hear any noise in our room, but if you walk not even 5 minutes around the corner there are restaurants and plenty of lively nightlife. We felt that we got a very good value for what we paid.

Very good location, and friendly staff.

Ideal location in the Old Town, but also a bit secluded. Bright apartment with windows on three sides. Good size bathroom and shower and lovely balcony with great views. In full sun from 3pm onwards (June) if you like that sort of thing. Has wifi (wasn't listed in the description)

No complaints. Some noise from nearby restaurant live music but doesn't go on late. Can get a little warm when you come back at the end of the day, but all the windows open for the breeze

The location was perfect, right in the middle of the old town. Lots of good places to eat nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was newly renovated, comfortable and clean.

The street can be a bit noise on the weekend.

A localização era muito boa, mesmo no centro da cidade velha. De resto, a higiene, atendimento e conforto do "hotel" esteve em níveis mínimos.

Die Lage des Appartements war perfekt. Man ist in der Nähe der Aussichtsplattform und läuft man in die andere Richtung ist die belebte Innenstadt nicht weit. Die Aussicht war super, das Appartement optimal eingerichtet. Es war alles super, auch die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Da wir im Dezember hier waren, zog der Wind etwas durch die Fenster und die Balkontür, aber das ist ok, wenn man sich etwas wärmer anzieht. Nur die Heizung der Klimaanlage reicht da leider nicht aus.

The owner is a wonderfully considerate person who helped us with any organizational issue. I loved the view from the rooftop.

Views and relatively quiet neighbourhood (but I don’t think anywhere in central Old-town Antalya can avoid the amplified music at restaurants/ bars at the weekends)

Very friendly and welcoming staff! The hotel may not be new, but it’s very well maintained. I felt cozy and comfortable — just like at home.

Gute Lage in der Altstadt, kurze Wege zu Restaurants, kleinen Stränden, zum Hafen. Familiär geführtes Haus, sehr hilfsbereite Inhaberin, gibt Tipps und Unterstützung. Wir waren eine kleine Gruppe von Freunden, unser Aufenthalt eine Woche. Wir erhielten jeden Tag ein exzellentes Frühstück mit täglich wechselnden Köstlichkeiten, das wird in Erinnerung bleiben.

The location is great, it’s by a lot of restaurants. There is a beach nearby but you have to pay for it. Loved the mirrors

We have a few issues with our room. We booked one double and one twin room but were given two doubles. Our hot water wasn’t working for a few days either.

We booked the economy room, which was ok if your staying a few days but it's small we paid to upgrade to a bigger room as we were staying for 3 weeks and loved the room.both rooms were exceptionally clean, the beds were perfect.

The hotel is nice but overall overpriced. Our room was very small, and the bathroom even smaller, and wasn’t completely clean, with some hairs here and there and no toilet paper. The service was not very attentive, nearly nonexistent. Additionally, the location is very touristy. We will definitely look for a different place on our next stay.

Понравился персонал, мы задавали вопросы и быстро получали на них ответы. Комнаты чистые, ванная просторная, кондиционер работал исправно. В отеле было достаточно тихо, при том что в старом городе много баров и ресторанов, которые работают допоздна. Мы брали отель на 3 ночи - как место где можно переночевать и помыться, все остальное время гуляли по старому городу. В целом это недорогой хороший вариант в центре города.

Если вы ищете что-то аутентичное, а также номер и отель в котором можно насладиться интерьером и атмосферой, думаю, это не ваш вариант. Тут есть все необходимое - но также проживание достаточно аскетично. В стандартном номере на два человека немного места, если вас двое - лучше взять самый большой номер.

Emplacement en plein coeur de la vieille ville.

Les photos présentent un bel hôtel 3*, auquel vous n'avez pas accès et les chambres sont dans un bâtiment différent à l'arrière. Je trouve l'annonce trompeuse même si les photos de la chambre sont les bonnes. Comme sur les photos de la.chambre, on ne voit pas la salle de bain, seulement celles des chambres 3*, on est un peu surpris en découvrant une minuscule salle d'eau avec un rideau de douche.

They didn’t give the room which we booked. On my demand they change other room but not the one we booked. They should be polite. Landlady attitude was very dogmatic Tape of basin was broken and leaking all over. Lamp bulb was fused. Not cleared the bin till I asked third day. They said on internet that kitchen facilities are available, but it was not available. It was very very noisy from neighbouring hotel till 4am we couldn’t sleep. Walking a kilometre for the public transport No Public beach near by you have to walk a kilometre then take tram for 15 minutes for public beach. Mermeril beach is a private beach. You have to pay about £120 to use the beach,

Chambre sale, robinetterie cassée. Fuite salle de bain.draps jamais changés pendant notre séjour, Pas de machine à café comme mentionné dans le descriptif. Pdt notre séjour les serviettes de bain ont été changées une fois à notre demande. Comment faire une réclamation, geste commercial, le prix est trop élevé pour les conditions d hébergement. INADMISSIBLE. Nous avons essayer de discuter avec la propriétaire concernant le ménage, réponse le personnel est malade !!!

The staff are friendly and we loved the location, it's a 2-minute walk to a panoramic view of the marina, which is an amazing, breathtaking view. It's also a 1-minute walk to many amazing restaurants. Would recommend staying there as it is at the heart of the old town, but still quiet enough to comfortably get a good night's sleep.

2 of us booked double sized bed room for 3 nights. Our room (702) was ridiculously small. The Washroom barely fits one person. My GF and I could not move in the room without even touching each other. (Was quite annoying, especially at the end of the tiring days) Pictures of the place look Nothing compared to room from the website. Price was advertised as discounted, so we could see the regular price of the place, and even with the discount it was more expensive than good big rooms with breakfast in other hotels close by. (We were thinking of switching, but it would take at least 1/2 of our day.. and we decided to stay there.) Everything has it own price. Price (even discounted one) is way too much for this place. So, it was very disappointing and didn't feel right. Hopefully, our review will be helpful for other people.

The location is very good And it is clean

The room is very small to the family room the door of the room was so tight to the bathroom And our room was beside the reception and the gardens were noisy. The air conditioning was stopped for one day because there is a problem with it.

Excellent location in downtown Antalya, yet situated in a peaceful and quiet area. The staff are friendly and helpful, making for an overall comfortable and pleasant stay.

We booked a deluxe room as shown in the picture on Booking.com, but initially were given a very different, much smaller room on the ground floor. This room felt exposed to the street, so we had to keep the windows closed with the blinds down all the time. Only halfway through our stay were we moved to the room we originally booked. Unfortunately, cleanliness in that room was below standard, and we had to request additional cleaning. Overall, the hotel should be more transparent about their rooms as they differ significantly. If we had known we would be placed in a street-exposed room, we would not have stayed here.

It’s a very nice place, it’s cozy and comfortable to stay while visiting the old town of Antalya

The water pressure in the shower was weak.

Quite location. Slightly remote from the noise of the streets of the old town.Breakfast is amazing. The staff are genuine and willing to help.

Room was a bit too small.

The room was small but had everything we needed, even a small fridge and a kettle. Bathroom was spacious as well and the AC worked great which was a lifesaver! The rooftop was also lovely and the location great, walking right into old town of Kaleici.

1. There was no shelf/small cupboard to place our clothes, just hangers. 2. The water in the shower was cold, had to wait for a long time for it to become warm which was uncomfortable. 3. Often there was nobody at the reception, though if we reached to House of Good things on WhatsApp they would always quickly respond and solve our questions.

Helpful and friendly staff, great location in the heart of the old town, near very many restaurants and the sea, and old port but quiet at night, well looked after property

Nice place to stay,in the center,free parking

The staff are totally friendly, obliging and uncomplicated. Parking in the zone is generally not easy because there is a barrier. It was very well explained and organised so that we could park directly at the hotel without any problems. The room was clean and nice, we slept in the hotel both on the outward journey and on the return journey! Warmest recommendation!

The place was really cute and well decorated. The room was spacious and pretty. I would recommend!

There was a misunderstanding between coleagues instructions about the check-out time which caused some conflicts at that time. Apart of that, we just loved the place!

Location and friendly staff. They arranged for airport pick-up and drop-off (at an additional charge). Property is located in old town, within walking distance to many attractions and shopping areas.

Great location in the old town nearby the bars and restaurants area yet it’s very quiet, room was clean and the host is exceptionally friendly, he is willing to help if you have questions or concerns, offers also airport transfer if needed.

Make sure to bring sleep blackout eye mask, shutters are not completely blacking out.

Great location. It’s in old town very close to everything but not on a Main Street so it was abit quieter at night.The staff on the front desk was so helpful with everything.
