Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Die Lage des Hauses ist einmalig, der Strand direkr vor dem Haus ist wunderschön Die Ausstattung ist top, das Haus gut durchdacht, auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt perfekt geeignet. Die zusätzlichen Handtücher extra für den Strand haben wir ebenfalls als nette Geste empfunden Unser Host João war wirklich extrem zuvorkommend und ist bei Ankunft/Abreise extra vor Ort gekommen. Mit Abstand die beste Unterkunft unserer Reise

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Es war unglaublich. Irgendwann kommen wir zurück. Die Lage ist unübertrefflich. Direkt am Atlantik mit tollen Wellen zum Springen aber auch mit Zugang zum Schwimmen. Mit dem Auto ist man in 10 min in Horta am Hafen. ( mit Taxi 10€) Das Haus war super sauber u mit Außendusche - super nach dem Strandgang. Die Küche war perfekt eingerichtet. João war total freundlich und man konnte ihn immer erreichen u alles fragen. Diese Unterkunft sollte man nie in seinem Leben verpassen.
Das untere Schlafzimmer war ein bisschen warm, da man wegen der Lautstärke der Wellen kaum das Fenster offen lassen konnte in der Nacht.

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026Un piccolo gioiello fornito di tutto il necessario per accogliere con confort 5 persone. Due bei bagni, una cucina ben fornita, lavatrice asciugatrice stendino. Il terrazzino vista mare è un piacevole plus. Joao é cortese e accogliente. Un attenzione particolarmente comoda gli asciugamani da mare forniti. La consiglio vivamente.
É stato tutto perfetto.

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026Die Unterkunft war grösser als auf den Fotos zu erwarten war. Sie hatte eine gute Ausstattung inkl. Geschirrspüler und Waschmaschine. Beide Badezimmer waren edel und vollständig ausgestattet. Die Klimaanlage auf beiden Stockwerken war aufgrund der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit auf Faial sehr angenehm. Perfekt war die Lage am Meer, so dass man nach ein paar wenigen Schritten ins kühle Wasser springen konnte. Separate Strandtücher waren auch vorhanden. Alles in allem für uns eine perfekte Unterkunft, die mit João einen sehr sympathischen Inhaber hat.
Wir hatten nichts zu bemängeln.

Reviewed May 27, 2026We are travelling the Azores for a month. This has been the best place we've stayed. Joao is a fantastic host; always replying quickly to any query and such a helpful person. His house is modern, impeccably clean and has a beautiful location. Not only is it quiet but it's tucked away at the end of the beach so you hear the waves at night. Such a special place and our favourite place pretty much anywhere.
There is absolutely nothing to fault. This house is perfect!

Reviewed Apr 11, 2026Die Lage des Hauses ist super. Man ist direkt am Strand und hat eine tolle Aussicht. Das Haus selbst ist sehr gemütlich und mit vielen schönen Extras. Wir waren alle sehr begeistert. Der Hausherr ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gerne wieder !!!

Reviewed Sep 16, 2025The location of the house is amazing. There is sea view from all rooms, it is located right next to the beach on one of the most beautiful beaches of the whole island. Joao was there for the check in and is very friendly and helpful. The house has got everything you can wish for with very comfortable beds. We had such an fantastic time and will definitely be back.

Reviewed Jul 22, 2025Ons beviel alles!!!!! Het appartement is geweldig. Heel ruim en aan alles gedacht. Het uitzicht is geweldig! De host is heel aardig en legt alles uitgebreid uit. Hij geeft ook leuke tips om te doen in de omgeving. We hebben het fantastisch gehad!

Reviewed Sep 20, 2024Tutto! La persona che ci ha raggiunto è stata calorosa ed attenta. La casa è completa di tutto e molto accogliente. Posizionata in un posto tranquillo, dista solo 6 minuti dal centro di Horta. Da ogni finestra si scorge tutta la bellezza della natura circostante. La casa si affaccia su una delle spiagge più belle di Horta e l'oceano si presenta possente davanti a noi. Il pensiero di rientrare nella "Casinha" , dopo una giornata di tour nell'isola era un pensiero felice. Grazie di cuore, speriamo di ritornare ... presto!

Reviewed Aug 11, 2024Beautiful small house facing the ocean, where you can hear the waves breaking and puffins at night singing. Perfect location not far from Horta allowing you to quickly reach all the other spots on the island and be in a quite place. We loved the place, directly being able to have a swim on an empty beach in the morning. The owner was really welcoming and nice.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2024Óptima localização mesmo junto à praia. Casa muito agradável, muito bem equipada e funcional, notando-se claramente que foi dada bastante atenção aos pormenores. O anfitrião não podia ter sido mais simpático e prestável. Fomos de facto muito bem acolhidos e recomendamos, sem reservas, este local para uns dias bem passados num local com um fabuloso nascer sol e uma vista privilegiada para a ilha do Pico. Esperamos poder voltar

Reviewed May 11, 2024Petite maison literallement à deux pas de la mer, avec une vue extraordinaire. Confortable, bien aménagée et décorée avec goût. Literie impeccable, salles de douche extra. Belle terrasse couverte pour se reposer ou manger. Tout ce dont on a besoin s’y trouve. Un vrai coin de paradis. Nous y avons logés à cinq avec de grands adolescents, ils ont adoré. On est tout près d’Horta en voiture, mais rien n’est bien loin dans l’île. La plage d’Almoxarife est pleine de charme, surtout si vous aimez les vagues voire un peu de surf.
C’est trop loin pour y revenir chaque week-end. 😉
