Central, peaceful, pleasant

The apartment wasn’t available and the owner tried to scam me with a different option. Poor communication and behavior. Stay away.

It was a central location.

On the day of our check-in at the place where we were staying, they first asked me what time we would arrive; we were arriving around 5 pm. Then, they told me that for one reason or another they couldn't give me the room I had requested, which was large, spacious, with several bedrooms, and that they would give me a more centrally located room, but in a different place. I don't know why. When we arrived, the conditions had completely changed. While the room they gave us was indeed more centrally located, it was tiny, with two sofa beds and one bed, whereas before it had been two beds and one sofa bed. They completely changed the circumstances. These weren't the conditions we had originally requested. Consequently, we stayed there since we had no other option at that time, but we weren't happy about it. We didn't have another option, but we really didn't like the place, and we weren't at all happy that they changed everything we had discussed so suddenly, and they didn't even try to compensate us with a price adjustment.

Dobra lokalizacja

Czystość pozostawiała sporo do życzenia

Didn’t get the apartment we actually booked

Didn’t get the apartment we actually booked

The only positive aspect was the location, which is relatively close to the city center.

1. Communication with the landlord was extremely poor. I sent multiple messages through Booking.com and received no response for a long time. We eventually had to call directly, and the landlord said the check-in details would be sent the day before arrival. We never received those details and had to travel without knowing where or how we would check in. 2. On the day of arrival, we were finally informed that the apartment we booked was no longer available. The landlord said an alternative apartment had been arranged with the “same setting and size,” which was not true. 3. We booked and paid for a two-bedroom apartment, but were given a one-bedroom apartment instead. No refund or price adjustment was offered. 4. As a result, three adults had to share one bedroom, which was very uncomfortable. The apartment was also significantly smaller than what was advertised and booked. 5. Overall, the experience felt misleading, with late communication only after the cancellation deadline had passed. I do not recommend booking apartments from this host due to unreliable communication, last-minute changes, and failure to provide the accommodation that was booked and paid for. It sounds like nothing but a scam. You can see the photos of the apartment we have got.

The location is very good, easily accessible by public transportation. The apartment is as described.

There could be more kitchenware available, since the apartment accommodates 6 (glasses for example)It’s ok if you are not planning to cook dinner for a family of 6.

Close to the bus station

Bathroom was not in good conditions, some beds were not comfortable, not so many crockery

Siisti, hyvällä sijainnilla

Erittäin lämmin huoneisto. Jonkinlainen ilmastointi olisi ollut hyvä.

Good price for the property location

A little bit difficult check-in process, the owner should prepare more detailed instructions

Pani bardzo pomocna

Brak worków na śmieci

Overall good.

No fans. No AC. Bathroom was smelly and cramped. Sink cracked.

Very big rooms. Working kitchen and cooking utensils available.

The treasure hunt to get to the keys and the incomplete address shared on Booking.com made us lose some time when arriving in Helsinki. The building is not pretty and quite far from the center. Overall ok.

Location and space.

Getting the apartment key was like treasure hunt. No paper towels in the kitchen, dishwasher not working, bathroom was clean but in very bad condition. Tried contacting the apartment guy but no one picked up or called back and didn’t even responded via Booking.com message.

Spacious room, center location

Located in the lively neighbourhood of Kallio. Walking distance from nice cafes and bars. Close to the center.

No telly🙃

it was central peaceful and pleasant

It was very cozy, clean and for the price was magnific.

Was kinda far away from the city Centre even if was bareble.

The apartment was well equipped, had everything I needed, and the building was quiet. The location was excellent, you could see the rides of the nearby amusement park from the window. Communication with the friendly host was smooth. I would very much come here again with my family too.

There was some echo in the apartment, which I didn't mind when I was alone, but with children, for example, the noise can be quite loud.

I liked everything - place, location, how clean the apartment was, owner, who answers fast and clearly. Especially I was thankful for coffee and tea in the apartment. At that moment it was like a surviving ring)

- You have to prepare the duvets yourself - Duvet covers were not that clean - Lack of toilet paper

very very good, warmful and beautiful apartment. and host replies in time!

It was clean and comfortable

The location - difficult to find and a walk up many steep hills (not so bad in summer but with the snow it was a bit of a trek) I would also question 2 bedroom. It’s 1 bedroom with a bed in the sitting room.

The property was very large and spacious.

The bathroom needs a bit of an upgrade, but it was perfectly usable.

First of all, it is not a 2 bedroom property. There were 2 beds put up in the living room and that cannot be counted as a bedroom. Secondly the hand held bidet in the bathroom was broken (the plastic was there as a makeshift even before our check in ) and the washbasin was also cracked. The broken condition of the bidet was never mentioned to us even the day before our check in and it was a surprise when trying to use it in d bathroom, the water spray initially went all over the place and then didnt work at all. Also trying to initially pull it from its location makes the toilet seat cover fall on you, touching your clothes, which was disgusting.

Proximity to all the trams and very close to the city center. Price

Bathroom need to be renovated very old and broken, there are no lights in the living room, kitchen very bad equiped for example there are 3 glasses for 6 people, and no toaster .

Detailed step by step details of how to find the accommodation and how to gain access to the apartment.

The potential for another key would of been useful but didn’t let down the trip down

It was in a good price and close enough to the city center

The bathroom was old ,the sink was broken and so was the boards of the sink too. The bathroom needs renovation. It was also difficult to find the entrance and the area was a bit sketchy. Last but not least , the door of the apartment didn't't seem very safe and a chair was broken so be aware not to fall down.

Jäähallile lähedal.

This is not a two-bedroom apartment with a kitchen. This is one bedroom and a living room with an open kitchen. The bed linen was in a locked cupboard. Opening the lock of this cabinet took 1 hour. The toilet/shower was ugly. The hall lamp did not work. You must have a flashlight with you.

Clean, organized and very comfortable for quite a big group. Lots of tram’s around and even walking distance to everything you need is not too bad! Great apartment

Beds and kitchen

Bathroom

Convenient location in a quiet neighborhood, nice and comfortable apartment, helpful host

The space, it was a big apartment

The entrance, it's not so nice and the toilet, it's old

The location was great and the apartment was everything we needed.

There could have been more information on the booking site so you wouldn’t need to ask for all the details. But when asked everything worked out nicely!
