De accommodatie is ruim en schoon. De locatie is goed, supermarkten en restaurants in de buurt. Communicatie met de eigenaren is makkelijk en ze reageren snel en behulpzaam.

Had a really pleasant stay at Helena Suite Gerik! The hospitality was great and the host was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is super convenient — close to plenty of food places and supermarkets, which made everything so easy. Check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. The homestay itself was very clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated with a cute Muji-style concept. It felt comfortable and relaxing, just like a home away from home. Definitely recommended for anyone visiting Gerik!

The only downside was there was some drilling noise during the day, probably from nearby renovation works, but it did not affect our stay too much.

The location was good, close to the centre, and private gated parking was good. Decent TV, which swivels.

So the room does look like the photos and its good to see some effort in making the place look nice. However, everything looks worn and it needs redecorated. There was some strange mess in the kitchen cupboard, which had not been cleaned up. There is a large gap under the front door and the netting in the bathroom is full of holes. Main issue was getting the keys. The address listed is at the front of property, wheras the entrance it as the road to the rear. The instructions sent are of no use if you are sitting outside the front as happened to us. Someone did come down to help, but its not what you after a long drive.

Excellent house. Comfortable and convinience

You can park your car inside, it's a studio so me and my son had very good bonding, we regroup everyday after Royal Belum to compile pictures and videos while waiting for food arrival .Grab is not active here but Food Panda. I was forced to create Food Panda account.

The aircon remote controlling the main aircon is not working well. We went to the shop changed the battery but still couldn't get it to work properly controlling the temperature and fan fan speed that only allows from remote. Had to use a chair to point to the aircon IR to communicate (takes sometime)

Appartamento sporco, blatte, insetti, ragni. Notte insonne perché scarafaggi e blatte circolavano per tutta casa, c'era uno spray anti insetti ma finito quindi non abbiamo chiuso occhio. Rumore costante sul tetto causa acqua gocciolante dei condizionatori. Evitate di prenotare questa soluzione per favore.

Een fijn, comfortabel, praktisch ingericht en mooi apartement. Fijn bed en zowel een airco als een ventilator. Een eigen privé parkeerplaats achter een eigen hek.

The ID was top notch. It's like you're staying at a showhouse. And it was extremely clean.

The air conditioner, while more than able to do its job, was also noisy even at it's lowest setting.

A quite unique property that is nicely decorated. The covered outside area is a plus especially if it was raining. This also where you can park which is behind latched gates and felt very secure as we were travelling on a motorcycle.

Le logement est très mignon et propre à notre arrivée. Pour une nuit cela suffit amplement, pas plus.

La salle de bain mériterait d'être améliorée et les toiles d'araignée au plafond nettoyées. Le confort des lits peut également être amélioré.

Prima ingericht. Alles aanwezig. Redelijk schoon. Fijne en schone bedden.

Beetje gekke plek. Het lijkt meer een omgebouwde garage op een parkeer terrein. Maar locatie verder is fijn. Leuke eettentjes om de hoek en grote supermarkt.

Decoration and cleanliness of the room is superb. It just that odor at carposh area from nearby building area are quite disturbing

It was a good stay that feels like home. Equipped with essentials for 2 night stay. Will come back if i hv work trip again at Gerik

Very minor - the place sedikit tersorok. But the host was so thoughtful to open the light knowing that we will arrive near midnight

Clean spacious room with nice design. Near to convenience store. Plenty of parking space infront of the house.

The apartment was very clean and very reasonably priced, a good location for exploring Royal Belum.

There was a notice posted upon arrival saying the property was halal, so please cook appropriately. We are not Muslim, so this created an issue for us. We don't have any issue with the host requesting compliance, however, if this requirement was mentioned in the property write-up, it should perhaps be stressed more. Also, the cook ware we'd say was minimal.

The place is beautifully furnished, has everything we needed, the beds are comfortable, pillows are awesome and it is really clean.

The spiders are the only problem. One look above the ceiling and they are just everywhere. Huge long leg spiders. Not so much of a problem for me and my husband but my child has bug phobia. Took us 20mins to catch all the spiders we could see.

Furnishings set up was pleasant as seen on the picture. Though we didn’t cook during our stay the kitchen amenities were complete. Furthermore the supermarket nearby is a plus.

Could have better night insects proofing. With insects there’s unsightly cobwebs in bathroom and toilet area.

Everything! They did a good job renovating the place and making it a comfortable stay.

The inside, almost everything. That is only after check-in. Lucky because the host is helpful, from remote.

The outside, it was a different story before check-in. Firstly, it could be sweeter, may feel more welcomed if it was cleaner, brighter, and a bit livelier. Secondly, security is a concern if you put a lot more thinking than I did. Impression of guests can be better managed.

Feel like home. Very clean and comfy. Location nearby supermarket.

Very nice appartement with a lot of comfortable and handy details. Uncomplicated communication with the owner. Huge shop (Value-Mart) just around the corner. Very good Internet connection.

As for me... the ambience is so much like my own.. my home but location somewhere else...what a great feeling...

Please replace the wall clock..hihihi No naphthalene, please..get the room freshener instead.. Just let us know if the roller shutter is functioning...if not we have to be more careful... just for peace of mind..though Gerik is known for a much serene town.

The hand shower didnt work

Extremely useful facilities and good aesthetic. Cooked 2 meals while staying there.

Parking ramp in front of property is too steep

Probably the best accommodation in Gerik. Spacious with all the amenities. Nicely converted back of shop into self service dwelling.

The entrance is actually the back of a commercial centre, strewn with rubbish, very dark at night.

My second time at Helena's Studio, always great stay. Strong Wi-Fi and after 2 weeks with no news it was great to be able to watch English TV. Great host nothing is to small or to big for them.

182RM for a large studio with very classy decor. Very useful well-equipped kitchen, good shower, great WiFi and easy parking outside. Owner is very responsive and check in / check out is straightforward. Close to large supermarket and start of toad through Titiwangsa mountain range.

Place is clean and well kept. Very easy to find. Owners are friendly.

We enter the unit from the back of the shop lot, at night its quite dark and quiet.

Host provided useful facilities for travellers and home is well designed. The rain shower head is very relaxing.

The quietness and the Nordic design

the pest (adult cockroaches') can be seen at the wash bowl in the washroom.

The whole studio is decorated perfectly, little hob for cooking, outside area, shower is amazing and bed very comfortable! This is a wonderful stay and great value for money in the area!

It's a little out the way but don't let that put you off - there are shops and restaurants walking distance and it felt very safe

This is a well equipped, clean and beautifully decorated studio located in the middle of commercial area. It looks exactly as advertised. Host is very friendly and easily reached when contacted.

1)the entrance is at the back of a shop lot. The back lane is quite dark at night 2) the security of the door needs to be enhanced. There is only a wooden door with single door lock between the outside and inside of the studio.
