Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Het is een hostel. Gemengde badkamer en toilet. Kamer was klein. Maar prima voor een nacht. Geen ontbijt. Wel samen een keuken tot je beschikking, waar je kan koken. Grote tuin, waar je kon zitten. Grappig huis. Ze waren nu een gedeelte aan her verbouwen. Dus minder bezoekers. Het huis ligt heel vrij, dus super rustig. Dat is mooi !
Kamer was klein en heet. ( geen airco of ventilator.)

Vi kunne trengt litt fryseplass til kjøle elementer og hundemat, men fryseren var full, selv om vi hadde spurt på forhånd om mulighet for kjøl og frys.

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026Ein kleines uriges Landhaus mit mehreren Zimmern. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer zum Garten hin mit Dusche. Die Lage ist außerhalb und sehr ruhig. Es gibt Kühl-/ Gefrierschränke in der Küche für die Gäste. Kaffee und Tee kann man sich selbst zubereiten. Die Betten muss man selbst beziehen.
Wir waren schon mal dort und kennen das Haus. Es wird liebevoll geführt, ist jedoch auch schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Einiges klemmt - ist halt echt vintage. Die Terrasse am Esszimmer war leider nicht benutzbar - hier wäre ein Frühjahrsputz erforderlich.

Reviewed Mar 27, 2026Återkommer gärna till detta fina ställe. Tidigare har vi bott stora huset men valde nu den fina stugan. Rymligt, praktiskt och mycket fräscht. Även i stugan känner man av värdens omtanke bland annat genom hembakade mördegskakor.

Reviewed Mar 20, 2026Duidelijke instructies ontvangen om binnen te geraken in het gebouw. Als je vragen stelde via Whatsapp kreeg je heel snel antwoord. Het ligt een eindje van een drukke weg, je hoort daarom het verkeer bijna niet. Het uitzicht is prachtig en in de ochtend zie je wilde dieren in de weilanden zoals vossen.
Ik had niet goed gelezen bij de informatie, maar lakens/handdoeken zijn niet inbegrepen. Maar die kan je voordelig bijboeken.

Andra natten kom gäster hem vid 00.30 i rummet bredvid och var inte tysta förrän efter 02. Då märktes det att det var väldigt lyhört. Synd att man inte tänkte på andra gäster som redan somnat. Därför dras betyget ner.

Leider war bei Buchung nicht so richtig klar, dass man Bettwäsche kostenpflichtig dazubuchen muss. Es steht im Kleingedruckten, aber bei manchen Zimmern steht das direkt mit oben im Text, bei unserem Zimmer leider nicht. Es wäre vieöleicht besser, darauf präsenter hinzuweisen. Unsere liebe Gastwirtin kam uns aber entgegen und hat uns bei der Rückreise unsere schon genutzte Bettwäsche wieder zur Verfügung gestellt. Toll! Lieben Dank! Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, war aber ok.

The toilet on the second floor was bad and didn't flush well. Tried several times and didn't succeed. The bedclothing wasn't for free (the information desk said so). It cost around 10 euros but I couldn't understand how to pay due to absence of the instructions.

We lost a couple of shoes they were new, and there was a shared shoes place in the property, but the owner didn't care about that and didn't pay for them or gave a discount to us

Reviewed Aug 28, 2024Very quiet neighbourhood! I enjoyed that it was in a rural area, surrounded by nature. The house is lovely and very cozy to stay in. We slept like babies. It was perfect to stay over for one night.
Don't forget to bring your own bed linen! Or you can pay 100 sek per person to borrow. It's in the booking's description.

Reviewed Mar 27, 2024We stayed for a night on the way from Skåne to Sälen. Karaby Gård had everything we needed for an overnight stay. It seemed very clean and we appreciated the free tea and coffee and biscuits. The children loved the visit from the cat in the morning!

The walls are quite thin (steps on the stairs and front door made a lot of noise), there could be more possibilities for hanging clothes and towels in the room

I have booked many rooms with booking. com but this is the first time that the quoted price did NOT include bedsheets and towels! Complete surprise we had to pay extra if we wanted sheets and towels, never happened to us before. At least up front they ought to quote 2 prices one with and other without sheets towels. Booking.com should make this a requirement. Nobody likes surprises at 10pm when you’ve ready for bed and it’s bare!
