Hotel Le Clos des Récollets

Great central location. Beautiful old historic building. We had a lovely balcony from our room. Restaurant was excellent - excellent food and service.

First night was rather noisy until 2 am when staff finally all got to leave and had finished moving tables and emptying glass bottles in the bins out in the back yard below our room.

The location is lovely, right in the heart of Durbuy. The staff kindly made a restaurant booking for me.

The room was very basic and lacking charm. The shower was ready to be completely renovated, the seal and grout were very mouldy. The car parking space was a bit confusing as I really had to read the small print that it needed pre booking. It wasn't automatically offered. I then pre-ordered it but it wasn't well explained that it wasn't at the hotel and I needed to find it on the map. It also wasn't explained that we needed to pay extra for the parking.

Prima ontbijt en super locatie

We werden vriendelijk ontvangen met uitleg over de werking van de airco in de kamers. De bedden waren heerlijk. Het ontbijt was zeer volledig. Een groot voordeel zijn de parkings die je kan reserveren op ongeveer 100 m van het hotel.

Mon avis est en deux parties, une pour la chambre de l’hôtel et l’autre pour le restaurant : Hôtel Notre chambre était spacieuse, avec un petit balcon, un côté salon et le lit était confortable. Nous avons trouvé agréable qu’il y ait un stationnement pour les clients de l’hôtel. Restaurant Terrasse et salle à manger superbes, aménagées avec goût tout en respectant l’époque de la bâtisse. Nous avons pris la table d’hôte 3 services et nous avons été ravis par la qualité des plats que nous avons mangés, belle présentation, service attentionné. Excellent rapport qualité/prix! Allez-y, vous serez certainement très satisfaits. Une soirée magnifique ! Très bon petit-déjeuner avec des produits de qualité.

Hôtel Le principal inconvénient a été le bruit du climatiseur de la chambre. La décoration de la chambre manque de cachet et la salle de bain fait années 70. Restaurant Nous avions une table sur la terrasse et afin de garder au frais notre bouteille de vin, elle a été placée dans le restaurant. Nous avons bu un verre avec l'entrée, le serveur est venu nous servir un autre verre mais avons dû insister pour qu'il revienne seulement au moment du plat principal. Il nous servait trop souvent et nous ne voulions pas que la bouteille soit vide au moment du service du plat principal. Ce n'est pas très grave. Nous préférons avoir un seau et nous servir nous-mêmes, quand nous le voulons.

Lokalizacja super, obiekt posiada również wlasny parking. Miła obsługa. Skromne , ale bardzo smaczne śniadanie.

Mielismy akurat maly pokój na poddaszu kiedy przyjechaliśmy bylo w nim bardzo ciepło. No i przy otwartym oknie słychać w nocy Hałas , ale o tym jest akurat informacja w opisie rezerwacji.

The location is stunning, the room we were allocated was incredible with a large balcony with great views. Facilities at the hotel were great, but the restaurant seemed very premium and perhaps not our thing, however there were plenty of local bars and restaurants close by which were more to our taste. Underground secure parking was very welcome when travelling by motorbike.

Not the warmest of welcomes, but nothing that spoiled our visit.

Zeer rustige , stille kamer om te logeren

We keken enorm uit naar het lekkere eten maar merkten toch dat het niveau niet zo goed was als de vorige jaren Maar toch gewoon lekker

Wat het een ideale ligging is bij het centrum.

De lakens waren niet proper maar torn ik vroeg aan het personeel om dit te verversen was dit onmiddelijk in orde gemaakt. Wij zaten in kamer 3 , het zou beter geweest zijn als er een insectenlampje was geweest en een mini koelkast en een kluis. Voor derest prima in orde.

Vriendelijke ontvangst, lekker eten.

Petit déjeuner satisfaisant mais sans originalité Chambre mal insonorisée (nous entendions hyper fort la personne logeant à la chambre au dessus de nous !)

In het centrum dicht bij de parkeergarage. Goed gegeten in het restaurant.

Receptie was niet echt bemand. Moest daar wel sleutel achterlaten want er zat een enorme sleutelhanger aan die je niet in je tas kon stoppen.

Situation de l'hôtel, gentillesse du personnel, décoration et environnement de l'hôtel. Bon emplacement, fleuri, chambre petite mais bien décorée Climatisation, cependant ultra bruyante.

Le bruit de l'étage dans notre chambre! grincements constants du plancher de la chambre au dessus dès 6h30 du matin et de manière répétitive. Nos voisins du dessus devaient quand même se rendre compte du bruit, ce n'est pas possible autrement. Salle de bain très petite (mouchoir de poche) douche vétuste et pommeau de douche donnant un filet d'eau, sèche cheveux défaillant après 5 secondes (résistance qui surchauffe) Serviettes de bain d'une autre époque, petites aussi. Porte devant le WC transparente... donnant sur le lit de la chambre. Petit déjeuner plus que simple pour un tel établissement. Choix très limités. Frais cependant, ça, rien à dire!

Personnel au top, les chambres étaient très propres, calmes et l’hôtel en plein centre très bien situé. Le restaurant était délicieux nous avons passé un superbe séjour.

J'ai trouvé le séjour très reposant et fort calmant plein de détente bienvenu dans un rythme de vie effréné. De plus nous avons été touché par la grande gentillesse de l'accueil et la cuisine était vraiment très bonne ! Dans tout les cas un séjour magique à refaire !

Bit of a problem finding it as it is set in a pedestrian are We found the menu a bit limited and no draft beer. Not a major issue as there are plea y of places to eat just a short walk away

Lovely breakfast. As expected. Cook the eggs yourself in the hot water that is provided.

2 or more sites state check in between 15h and 18h. We could not reach the hotel Tuesday wednesday and a long part of Thursday to ask about this. Luckily late arrival was not an issue. The lid of the toilet has to be shut in order to flush and it comes down quite hard if you dont hold it.
