Wifi không ổn định, lúc vào xem tivi được lúc không. Các kênh trên Tivi chưa thực sự đa dạng nhất là mấy kênh cho thiếu nhi

Zuerst immer das positive. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Bad und die Dusche waren auch sehr gut. Die Aussicht von unserem Balkon ebenfalls.

Wir hatten extra ein Appartement mit Küche gebucht. Kein Geschirr, kein Besteck, kein sonstiges Zubehör was die Nutzung einer Küchenzeile ausmacht. Auf Nachfrage wurde und ein fettiger Topf sowie eine Pfanne gebracht und ein paar Schüsseln und Teller. Kein angefordertes Messer, Gabeln, Löffel. Am nächsten Morgen stand das Zimmer teilweise unter Wasser weil die Klimaanlage nicht richtig funktionierte. Der Techniker kam auch gleich und versuchte zu reparieren. Als er nochmal wiederkommen mußte und wir noch nicht schnell genug aus dem Bett kamen stand er plötzlich in der offenen Tür ( 8.30 UHR). So etwas geht nicht. Kein Wort der Entschuldigung. Was er aber beim Abrechnen nicht vergessen hatte waren die zwei Pepsi im Kühlschrank. Er war so freundlich uns aber unbedingt vier Pepsi berechnen zu wollen. Wir hatten nicht die Zeit dem Widerspruch leisten zu können weil unser Taxi fuhr. Also haben wir bezahlt. Zum Glück für uns hat er nicht die nicht vorhandene Ausstattung der Minibar berechnet. Siehe Tabelle. Auf dem Parkplatz das gleiche Schauspiel. 5000 für den bewachten Parkplatz. Kein Problem denkt man und kommt nach drei Stunden wieder zurück ( 14.00 Uhr). Da sollen wir nochmal bezahlen obwohl auf unserem Parkbeleg stand: Gilt für einen Tag. Was solls. Wir wußten von Anfang an das Vietnam in dieser Richtung schwierig ist. Geld ziehen wo es geht. Vielleicht ein kleiner Hinweis für alle demnächst ankommenden Besucher.

The hotel is located in a very tall and large building with APEC sign at the top. The room is comfortable, although it looks smaller than we expected. Amenities such as bath robes and slippers are provided. Room had excellent sound insulation and we never heard any outside noise.

The bathroom was missing hand soap and bath soap/gel, which they provided upon request, but these items do not seem to be regular offerings. Beware that there are multiple hotel vendors operating at this same building. Make sure to follow the checkin instructions to avoid showing up at the wrong lobby.

The towels were not clean, we were charged more than our fee per night just to check in a bit early. The shower on the last night / day had no hot water. The rooftop pool that’s shown in many photos was not even available for use as it was undergoing maintenance.

The location is central to restaurants and walking distance to the beach. The view from the room is good. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The restaurant on 5th level offers a modest breakfast.

This should not be advertised as a 4 star hotel as it is a condo hotel without a reception desk. The room does not come with any cleaning or change of towels. Later realised cleaning and use of pool require additional charges. Had to use same towel for 4 days. No shower gel and no floor towel in bathroom. Swimming pool nolonger has furniture used in the advert and also charges 120,000VDN / person/ day to use the pool. Only equipment provided in kitchen was kettle and two cups. No coffee or tea bags provided. My other 2 apartments used by the children did not even have the cups. No furniture in balcony so could not use the balcony. Booked a junior suite and room description indicated a separate living room from bedroom. This was not the case.

I was under assumption that I would stay at the APEC HOTEL not the APEC APARTMENT. It’s a sort of poor Airbnb management. When we arrived, the security took picture of my passport. Then another guy did the same. He said he managed the unit I stayed. No idea what they will do to a copy of my passport. He has No uniform, no business card to say he is anything related to the APEC HOTEL. The towels were super old. I could not pay for our room by my bank card (visa/master card). He asked me either pay cash or local bank transfer. I had to go to withdraw cash. Unfortunately, I could not get the cash at the local Vietcombank nearby but my account got deducted. That whole mess would not happened if they let us pay by our international bank card from beginning.

Not enough bathroom utensils (run out of body wash). The building was divided into 2 blocks, it seems to be connected but it doesn’t. It was frustrated to guide other people about how to get to the correct lobby and that alone took so much time. There was no receptionist either, only 1 man taking care of us via chatting, tell us how to get to the rooms by ourselves, everything on our own. Also, card payment unavailable, only cash or transfer.

It is NOT a hotel. It is apartment for rent and run by a agent person. So when you come, the agent will contact you and give you instructions how to enter the room. No receptionists

Difficult to understand how to operate the tv controls We didn't understand the set up at the hotel re paying. We thought the bill was taken automatically by booking.com. There was no official reception and we think maybe the huge hotel has different operators. After we left early to catch a train we left the door card on reception with the security guard and later got a message asking when we would like to check out and pay. In the end we managed to get our son to pay by bank transfer from his account in Hanoi. Otherwise we would have had to visit a bank in Ho Chi Minh City to make the payment. Confusing.

It felt like the cleaning was a bit botched. Unusual check-in and check-out. There didn’t seem to be a reception per se so it was hard to know which services were available or not.
