The Hosteller is a backpacker hostel chain suited for young travellers and does not permit guests below 18 years of age, even with legal guardians.
The property is pet-friendly, and we allow pets only in private rooms (not dorms). Any damages are attributable to the pet owners.
We follow a lean, self-service and no-frills hospitality model to keep stays affordable, with select amenities available on a pay-as-you-use basis.
Drugs, misconduct, non-payment, theft, vandalism or policy violations will lead to immediate eviction without refund and possible permanent blacklisting.
Possession, consumption, or distribution of illegal drugs and narcotic substances is strictly prohibited across all properties. Alcohol consumption is permitted only in designated common areas and private rooms, while smoking is allowed only in designated smoking areas within the premises. Violation of any of the above policies may attract a penalty of ₹2,000 per incident, and repeated violations, misconduct, or non-compliance may result in immediate termination of stay without any refund.
For group bookings of 2+ guests, same-dorm accommodation is not guaranteed, as room allocation is automated and subject to availability.
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability.
Visitors are allowed only in common areas between 9 AM and 9 PM and are not permitted inside rooms.
Female dorms are strictly for female guests only.
Local IDs are accepted.
Bike parking is available, which is subject to availability (limited to 4 bike spaces).
Swimming pool timings: 8 AM - 7 PM (The swimming pool may also be under maintenance on any given day).
Silent hours are observed daily from 10 PM to 8 AM.
To promote responsible energy usage, designated energy-saving hours are followed at this property. Air conditioning in dormitory rooms will be non-operational between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM, while air conditioning in common areas will be non-operational between 4:00 AM and 7:00 AM. During the dormitory energy-saving hours, air-conditioned common areas will remain available for guest comfort.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026The swimming pool is good and budget friendly hostel. Rental scooty are available near hostel and easy accessible to Candolim beach from hostel.
In bathroom, geyser, hairdryer and flush are not working properly. No buckets available in bathroom. For 13 people only two washrooms,it cause a little inconvenience in morning rush for toilet. If lockers provide for lockers would be better. Remote door unlock option is great

The location is excellent—close enough to Candolim beach, cafés, and nightlife, while still being peaceful. The rooms and common areas were clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly, approachable, and always willing to help with recommendations and local tips. The atmosphere made it easy to meet fellow travellers, whether you were travelling solo or with friends. The food and beverages were reasonably priced, and the hostel regularly organized activities that added to the overall experience. Overall, it offered great value for money and made my Goa trip even more memorable. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a vibrant yet comfortable stay in North Goa.

Reviewed Mar 23, 2026Stayed here for about two weeks and had an amazing time. There’s a perfect area to sit down and do some work and splash in the pool on your break. Plenty of shops and restaurants near by and a quiet stretch of beach just 5 minute walk from the beach. Real gem of this place though is the staff, not only did they make sure that all my needs were met, but they were also friendly to the point that we became friends and the relationships with both the staff and the hostel patrons will be my most treasured memories in Goa. Love all you guys

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026It was everything you could expect from a basic hostel - clean bed, drinking water, hygienic washrooms, ample space within the dorms, curtains, bedding etc. The location was absolutely fantastic! Shops, cafes, beach, supermarket, liquor store, transport options, and even some touristy destinations - all walking distance.
The common area was a little underwhelming. Didn't seem like the hostel was designed to spend too much time inside the premises. Would've loved comfier chairs/sofas, and just a more welcoming vibe for those lazy afternoons in Goa.

There was a couple who came in the mixed dorm late at night whonwere not even the residents of the place and were accompanied by the hostel staff. They were getting physically intimate in the top bunk and left after their deed. Even after informing the staff there was complete denial which made us to move away from that property.

The pool was dirty... Bathrooms are always dirty. The first 2 days I stayed on the second floor and there was no water dispenser however, on the 1st floor there were two.. lol. I got allergies due to uncleaned linen and a dirty pool. No coffee, tea facility. No common kitchen. It has just a name nothing else. I don't recommend staying for more than a day.
