Fabulous location, amazing views. Host was very good at checking all was good with our stay.
All was very good
Grazie ancora!
Sehr urig und traditionell,einmalige Lage
Really cosy cottage, spotlessly clean and great communication from the owners.
We had a little trouble figuring out the shower at first and it with it overflowing a bit but its a wet room shower so wasn't a big issue
The house is in a good location
The host had their neice creeping around whilst we were staying in there accommodation The cooker was left dirty prior to us arriving Check in was an hour late which messed up our days schedule effectively wasting a day
Love this house, warm clean, comfortable and fabulous location. Clear easy communication 👌 the magic cupboard in the dining room. . . see photo below
If you want to touch the history of Ireland, you should definitely stay in this cottage. It is clean and you will find everything you need here. We even found a bottle of wine in the fridge from the hosts 😊 Very good location, there is a lot to see, beautiful nature, lots of walking trails
The communication with owner was exceptional. Clear instructions on the property, contact throughout stay to make sure everything was in order. Property was exactly what we expected and more. 😀
The fact that we had to leave and couldn't stay longer!
Everything. The location, the view, the hosts are very helpful and communication is so easy. The house is beautifully decorated, warm and spotlessly clean. The history of the house and its stories is lovely. It feels like a home from home. Thanks Roisin and James, its a creditvyo you both. We will be back, oh and yes a super comfy bed.
Absolutely nothing negative to say.
Rien
Location is everything- from Teach Roisin, we were able to walk many of the peninsula's beaches and coastal points, hiked hills, including Sliabh Snaught, Bineveneagh (AONB NI Derry), visited Glenevin Waterfalls, Nancy's Barn for chowder, and all the surrounding villages en route, Antrim's Causeway, Derry's City's Walls and the Bogside. But to return each day and have 'a home from home' was the unexpected added bonus to our holiday, welcoming, cosy, warm, and boasting of every facility to make our evenings and nights a joy to prepare for the next 'Inishowen' adventure. My wife even concluded that washing up at the kitchen sink no longer became a chore when taking in the view of the ocean and coastal landscape in the foreground.
You have no control over the Irish Weather, much less out on a peninsula on the edge of the European continental shelf facing the Atlantic ocean.
The house was absolutely brilliant, all of the rooms were spotless and they had a rustic feel about them. The dresser in the entrance was exactly how my nanna and grandad used to have all those years ago when I used to come on holiday to Ireland, brought back fond memories. The kitchen has an air fryer, very handy nowadays and coffee machine with a selection of pods to use too.The sitting room was a very peaceful place with an open fire, a TV and sky box.The bedrooms were good, nice comfy double bed and a bunk bed in the other room. The view from the house was great as you could see across to the tower at Malin Head. There are binoculars available to use as well. All in all we had a great time staying at Teach Roisin, would definitely stay there again when we return to the area.
Location, comfort, home has every thing you ever needed and more, amazing views, quiet road, near lots of attractions. No WiFi do you can disconnect.
Nothing, liked everything
Brilliant location. House had everything we needed. Host was very attentive and messaged to make sure all was ok. House was comfortable.
The cottage is in the most amazing area and has the most beautiful views. The cottage is cosy and has everything you might need. The owner have included lots of nice touches. You can feel the history of the place. We felt so at home. The cottage is very unique and quirky. If you like grey and bland then the cottage is not for you! We loved the peace and quiet and had a few nice walks with great views of the coast. Malin village is close by and only 20 minutes into Carndonagh. We will definitely return.
So cozy, clean, and has everything you need for a relaxing break away!
Nothing - all perfect
A beautiful cosy cottage with a fascinating history. Great value. Amazing views from the cottage. Convenient to all the beaches and walks at Malin Head. James and Roisin very helpful. Hope to return somtime soon.
Nothing not to like.
Loved all the extra touches to make it a home away from home. Gorgeous location.
Nothing, except we wished we had booked longer
The property location was excellent as we had family staying at caravan park at farrens… so we only had a 3 minute drive… the view was class…. The cottage had everything you can think of to cook dinner.. The cottage was so warm and cosy with fire.. I would highly recommend this property it home to home with everything you could need.. x
What a wonderful place to stay. Roisin was so helpful right from booking. Anything we needed she was right there. The cottage has everything that you will need, a real home from home. Attention to detail was achieved 100%. We would definitely go back. We had a lovely mixture of a nice sunny days, and the cosy nights by the fire. Please do go there if you are ever lucky enough to be in Malin Head.
Stunning views. Lots of space. Very comfortable stay with 2 children. Freeview TV so great for a movie, news. Lots of fresh, clean towels. Hosts kept in contact during visit. Great coffee machine. Plenty of parking space and outdoor space for kids to play.
Nothing to add.
Old house with lots of charm and hidden hideaways. Secret living room/ den was a huge bonus for space and spreading out. Donegal Rally 2024 was going on unbeknownst to us which forced us to stay in the home all day. This was actually a nice surprise, as the rally cars literally drove directly in front of the residence. We had the best seats in Donegal. Owners went above and beyond to seek efforts of reprieve but in all honesty, we needed a day of rest. Farren's Pub is a must.
Shower was a bit awkward but other than that, all was good.
Serenity
Tv very few sky channels
Location (very convenient for the Inishowen Peninsula and Malin Head), the views from the cottage, the nice atmosphere of a centuries old cottage and much more
Everything about the cottage was fantastic. We stay in this area often and this is the best we've stayed in. We shall return soon
Beautiful views and rural location.
Eclectic cosy cottage.
Absolutely everything
The location, the amenities, and all the little touches to make our stay extra cozy. My kids loved all the games, and we enjoyed sitting around the fire and enjoying the stunning views. The beds were very comfortable too.
Nothing. It was perfect.
The location is rural, which was picturesque and perfect for us.. the house is small but perfectly formed, very well equipped with everything you could need. Highly recommended if you want to get away from everything.
Absolutely nothing
Very comfortable accommodation with a view of the sea in a very scenic area of County Donegal. Great attempt made by the owners to provide an authentic Irish cottage experience. .cottage contained lots of items that might be possibly needed during a vacation. Oil fired central heating. Comfortable beds. Lighting was switched on prior to our arrival.
Took a little while to figure out workings of the TV.
We had an amazing stay at Téach Róisin. The cottage is cosy and has everything you could ever need. The views are gorgeous, and the open fire is cosy for the dark nights. There are lovely walks nearby and bars/restaurants close to the cottage. It's a few minutes' drive from Malin Head as well. Rosaleen was a fantastic host. She communicated well and also left us some wine to enjoy. We will definitely be returning to Téach Róisin.
Everything was perfect!
Just everything was perfect. Cottage is lovely decorated & has loads of space. Shower was excellent & just everything you need was there plus plenty of other things. Defo would go again. Owners were so nice & helpful.
Absolutely nothing. Maybe a few pics of the cottage from the old days if available to get a clue how it was looking back then.
Beautiful cottage that has been in the family for centuries. You can see and feel the love and care that has been put into it
