Location and the overall design

Lack of privacy between tents. They have rules that are not enforced and when I asked about it via their whatsapp they ignored me too. The person who works at the shop/check in is rude and unwelcoming. The shop hours are stated to close of Friday at, 19:00. Yet it closed at 17:00. When I asked about the times the next day he told me the hours were changed but the notification whatsapp and store hours were not yet updated.

The location, amenities & service were all wonderful!!

The Africamps braai basket value for money specifically on the side dishes was not well aligned.

We loved having our glamping tents up against the mountain with beautiful views. The hot tub was private and also felt like you were part of the mountain backdrop. The glamping tents were very comfy and well fitted, along with fireplace, electric blankets as well as a lovely bathroom with great strong shower and hot water! The walk to the waterfall was stunning. Lots of other hikes plus rated top in the world for rick climbing. Lots of foreigners and locals doing this. The shop had odds and ends. Lady at reception was very friendly and accommodating.

We could fault nothing.

The various walks on the property were well marked and excellent. It was very enjoyable and accessible for our children.

We had such a wonderful stay this weekend! We absolutely loved being surrounded by nature and enjoying the fresh, fresh air. The kids had the best time in the jacuzzi, while Mom's favourite spot was relaxing by the cozy indoor fireplace. It was the perfect family getaway, and we can't wait to visit again. Thank you for a lovely experience!

Honestly, there wasn't much we didn't like. The only small challenge was that we couldn't park our car close to the tent. Carrying our luggage and supplies up the fairly steep path was a bit difficult, especially with kids. Other than that, everything was wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

De locatie was uitstekend dankzij het zicht op het Cedergebergte.

De hot tub had geen deksel waardoor we deze niet opgewarmd kregen. Bovendien bestelden we 'een voorverwarmde hottub bij aankomst', maar toen we aankwamen was deze ijskoud.

The setting was absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by the beautiful Cederberg mountains. The tent was comfortable, well-equipped, and offered the perfect balance of luxury and nature. We especially loved the peace and quiet, the stunning views, and the opportunity to completely switch off and relax. Staff were very friendly at reception as well.

The Cederberg is truly an amazing place. The breathtaking mountain views stretch as far as the eye can see, creating a peaceful and unforgettable experience. The place appears very decent; however, you need to buy everything for the hot tub and the fireplace. Hot water (shower) was not sufficient and had issues.

The location to the Northern Cederberg is very good. The walking trails on the property are worth the visit. The river was running strong, so we enjoyed the rapids and waterfall. The location of the tents provides a very scenic view

The floors were dirty and the towels were not clean. There were many times, throughout the night and from midday Saturday and Sunday, when the locals were extremely rowdy. This was continuous and rather unpleasant.

Wunderschön gelegen (Klettern, Wandern, Baden im Fluss) und nah genug an Clanwilliams für die Versorgung

The accommodation (including hot tub water) was clean. Great location for walking / hikes.

We stayed in unit 8. Unfortunately, it was difficult to relax during the day as they were building another unit (#6 if memory serves me correctly. Lots of hammering, drilling, cutting etc. with with loud tractor driving passed (and early as well). I would like to come again, but there must be no building works. As soon as the building works was completed for day, you could immediately feel the quietness and relaxation starting.

De hottub, mooie bbq en het terras.

De totaal-niet flexibele houding van het personeel. Ik had een fout met de data gemaakt bij het boeken en dit viel op bij het inchecken. Ondanks dat het geen seizoen was (heel veel tenten waren niet bezet) hielden zij mij strikt aan de geboekte data. Dit is -voor een ‘glamping’ ervaring- niet representatief noch getuigt het van klantvriendelijkheid. Ik zou hier niet meer verblijven en raadt andere gasten aan naar andere accomodaties te kijken.

The Tented Cabin was nice.

The inconvenience of having the outdoor braai area uncovered was an issue as it started raining while we were busy braaiing. The hot tub was next to the cabin unlike tented cabin No3 which had the hot tub on the deck. The toilet seat was broken. The owner and his son is extremely rude and disrespectful.

The place has good views, is well equipped, and was neat and clean. Beautiful premises with pools and a lovely connected feeling to nature.

On the downside, it was not very private, and they did not even provide one bag of wood for the braai or hot tub, as many other places do. Transferring to the hot tub was also quite uncomfortable. Although they do sell wood, it was a bit wet. Overall, we were a bit disappointed considering the price paid versus what was offered.

Amazing location, great concept.

Very inadequate in terms of fire prevention and fire management. Someone literally burnt down their tent and we used ALL of the fire extinguishers from ALL of the rooms to try get it extinguished and couldn’t. No access to any actual fire hydrants near the tents, it was actually a disaster waiting to happen: open fires near flammable tents, with extremely inadequate means to prevent or extinguish fires. I would love to stay there if only I knew that I would actually be safe.

Great location, access to rock pools. Tent is comfortable. Amazing beds and bathroom. Aircon helpful in heat. Staff very friendly and responsive with excellent service.

I think the kitchen utensils need more attention. Knives not sharp. 1 pan the size for frying 2 eggs. 1 size salad bowl. Braai tongs so short its not very useful. I would also recommend that Africamps revisit the design of their braais accompanied by stricter rules around braaing especially when windy. Our neighbours tent burnt down with fire flames going up the mountain due to braaing during a windy day. The design is not safe during hectic wind and likely no one should have lit a fire that day either. There are no fire breaks around the tents. Luckily staff response was super fast and the fire was controlled. Excellent team work.

The views are absolutely amazing!!!! Very spacious and has quality furniture and bedding. We hiked to the waterfall which is about 1,5Km from camp

They only left 1 roll of tissue paper in a four sleeper tent, staying for 3 days.

Farm life. Nature

No shade in the afternoon from 2 - 6 you need to sit indoor due to the sun and no shade on the veranda. Bar fridge for 5 people is to small

There is no shade after 14:00. The sun was burning like hell.

Ein wundervolles Erlebniss. Wir hatten das schönste Zelt mit dem besten Ausblick. Der private Pool ist ein Highlight Der Frühstückskorb sehr gut bestückt

Die Zelte sind sehr schön in die Natur integriert. Die Austattung ist gut! Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen!

Das Frühstück das bis ans Zelt geliefert wird ist der Wahnsinn wir hatten zwei bestellt und für den nächsten Tag wieder abbestellt weil es so viel war. Die Lage am roten Fels ist der Wahnsinn.

Sehr großes Zelt mit guter Ausstattung. Toller Ausblick auf die Berge. "Hot" Tub bietet an heißen Tagen eine gute Abkühlung. Küchenausstattung hat alles was man braucht.

The gorgeous setting! Waterfall walk right on our doorstep! Lovely shop on site. Comfortable beds and lovely bedding. The fantastic Hen House next door with excellent breakfasts and the Waterfall walk from a different approach (guided by two lovely dogs from the farm!).

Old small towels which may be ready to update. The tents are a little closer together than we expected which meant there was noise and dogs barking later at night

Die Lage inmitten der Cederbergs ist einmalig. Wir haben in einem der Zelte übernachtet und konnten auf die Berge schauen- besonders der Ausblick von der Terrasse war fantastisch. Die Zelte sind gut ausgestattet und es ist alles da was man braucht

Excellent location in the Cederberg

Having the hot tub off the deck was a little inconvenient. Also the hot tub did not heat up despite adding three bags of wood! Mentioned it the host the next day, was told someone would take a look, but no-one did.

We ordered breakfast and the braai pack which were sourced locally and of good quality. Star gazing was exceptional. This was our first glamping experience and the accommodation offered everything required. Aircon, fire place and of course an outside braai area. The staff at reception and the shop were very friendly and offered helpful advise which was appreciated.

Can't fault anything.
