Reviewed May 27, 2026Das Berghaus ist modern, gepflegt und gemütlich. Es liegt mitten im Wander und Skigebiet, weshalb Aktivitäten leicht zu Fuß oder mit den Busverbindungen zu erreichen sind. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und erfüllt einem jeden Wunsch! In den verschiedenen Appartements hat man die Möglichkeit zur Selbstversorgung, da jedes Appartement eine modernen Küche inklusive Ausstattung hat, jedoch kann man auch im hauseigenen Restaurant sehr gut a la carte essen und trinken. Im Berghaus Schröcken bekommt man alles was das Herz begehrt, gutes Essen, nette Gesellschaft, wunderschöne Natur und Erholung pur. Jederzeit gerne wieder!!!

Reviewed Mar 24, 2026Die Unterkunft ist wirklich super und sehr zu empfehlen. Wir haben spontan für eine Nacht gebucht und wären gerne länger geblieben. Alles ist sauber, ordentlich und modern. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr zu empfehlen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt.
Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: Die Küche war super ausgestattet (auch mit Spülmittel usw.), es wäre super wenn es noch kleine Salz- und Pfefferstreuer geben würde.

Reviewed Jan 6, 2026Der 2022 am Ortsrand errichtete Hotelkomplex ist in drei holzverkleidete Bauteile gegliedert, die sich in die Landschaft einfügenden "Berghäuser". Der großzügige Umgang mit gutem Holz im Innenausbau wertet Apartments und Allgemeinflächen auf. Das Auto kann in der modernen Tiefgarage bleiben, denn der Haltepunkt des Skibusses liegt nur 100 m entfernt. Die Skigebiete Lech/Zürs sind schnell erreichbar.
Die langen fensterlosen Flure und die umständliche Bewegung zwischen den Bauteilen. Das Restaurant scheint in den Stoßzeiten personell etwas unterbesetzt. Klar, es ist Hochsaison, doch das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis der Unterkunft geht auch besser.

Reviewed Jan 4, 2026Le SPA et la zone de repos étaient super, l'appartement propre et bien équipé, le buffet du petit déjeuner était très varié et bon. Le chien accepté dans l'hôtel (il a adoré courir dans la neige)
Des frais importants pour le chien (20€/nuit) sans attention particulière et des frais de nettoyage facturé encore en plus alors que l'entretien de la chambre a été très limité (1x en 6 nuits). Le fait de payer pour un thé ou un café l'après-midi était également exagéré au vu du prix payer pour le séjour (3/4 de pension inclus !).

Reviewed Sep 16, 2025Die Unterkunft hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen, alles im Appartment ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und durchdacht. Der Service im Haus ist sehr zu empfehlen, es gibt beispielsweise einen Wanderführer, der sich viel Zeit für Tipps nimmt und die Touren, wenn gewünscht, begleitet. Die idyllische Lage dieses schönen Hauses ist perfekt zum Erreichen aller Orte im Tal und am Berg, überall hält der Bus, der in der Gästekarte inkludiert ist. Mein Hund und ich haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder!
Ich finde den 20 Euro pro Nacht für den Hund etwas hochgegriffen, aber schlussendlich ok.

Super wäre, den Kaffeeautomaten in den Gang zu stellen oder einen zweiten aufzustellen. Alles andere passt.

Es ist ein Ort, an dem alles zusammenkommt - Abenteuer, Erholung, Gemütlichkeit, Genuss - einfach die Bodybatterie wieder aufladen - und traurig sein, wenn man wieder abfahren muss ... ... besonderer Dank gilt Carla, die gefühlt 24/7 sofort zur Stelle ist und alle Wünsche erfüllt (wie aber eigentlich auch alle anderen "Bergfreunde" dort - Wienand, Andy und Steffi) ... wir kommen bestimmt auch ein 3. und 4. Mal wieder ...
... fällt mir nix ein ...

Reviewed Sep 1, 2025Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt bei dem alles stimmt - vom Ambiente, dem Appartement, über die Ausstattung im allgemeinen, die Sauna mit Ruhebereich, das Frühstück war super vielfältig und das Essen bei Alwin‘s Stammtisch mega lecker (Empfehlenswert ist neben allem anderen das Hirschragout). Allem voran ist das Personal super freundlich und hilfsbereit, man ist sehr gerne Gast im Berghaus. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Reviewed Aug 26, 2025Atemberaubend schöne Aussicht vom Pool aus. In unmittelbarer Nähe sehr viele Wanderrouten. Bushaltestelle nur 4 Minuten entfernt. BregenzwaldCard ab 3 Nächtebuchung inkludiert. Super Vorteile! Super tolles Frühstücksbuffet und sehr schmackhafte Abendessen. Super freundliches Personal! Tolles Beschäftigungsangebot für Kinder vorhanden. Über den Hauseigenen WhatsApp Kanal konnten auch spontane Änderungen im „Veranstaltungskalender“ Minutenschnell und unkompliziert kommuniziert werden. Zum Beispiel wurde man informiert, wenn aufgrund plötzlich schlechter Wetterlage eher in den Poolbereich gehen konnte oder die Kinderwerkstatt einfach spontan eher geöffnet wurde. Wir fanden das super! Der Ruhebereich und die davon abgetrennte Plauderräumlichkeit waren ebenfalls hervorragend ausgestattet und hoch gemütlich. Der Aufenthalt war einfach top und ich kann ihn uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen. Bitte macht weiter so! Wir kommen am auf jeden Fall wieder!
Unser Appartement lang leider im hintersten Eck des 1.Hauses-der bei Buchung beworbene Bergblick war zwar da…allerdings nur wenn man sich weit über die Balkonbrüstung beugte. Dafür hatten wir zwei zuckensüsse Schafe direkt vorm Balkon, die uns auf ihrem Weg über die Weide des öfteren besuchten. Für meinen Geschmack waren die Matratzen zu hart….ich hatte leider jeden Morgen Verspannungen. Aber trotzdem war es eine tolle Woche!

The pool overlooking the valley and mountains is great (seeing the goats grazing 3m away from where you swim is also very relaxing). The staff is friendly and very straightforward ("the weather is not nice today, so we open the pool earlier for our guests"). The whole atmosphere is relaxed and everyone seems to be easy. We were especially blown away by their own hiking tour guide who gave us tips about what to do and see where ("Do this and then go have a pizza here..." style) - and you get his cell, in case you have questions or don't find your way; this is a terrific service, especially for first-times like ourselves...

The studio apartment was sufficient, clean and beautifully designed. I really couldn’t recommend it enough, and would definitely come back!
If I have to find something negative, the pillow was too soft for my liking and there was only one.

Reviewed Oct 31, 2024Perfect hotel with friendly owners and staff. We really enjoyed our stay in beatufil and equiped apartment and especialy heated pool on the top. The layout of the rooms was superior all on right place with lot of storage space and cozy feel. Breakfast were also great and there is huge garage parking for cars up to SUV size.
All was fine we just had a ground floor apartment with not much view

Location was difficult from Innsbruck during winter. Main ski resorts could not be reached on foot, only via bus.

Reviewed Jul 29, 2023This is an overall 'brilliant hotel-chalet' situated in a very beautiful valley of the Vorarlberg State. We have been visiting a lot of family hotels, but this 'Berghaus Schröcken' is simply the best we have ever stayed in. Especially the people working there are so different to other hotels or resorts: they have a smile on their face and you can see that they love doing their job... It's definitely a great place to stay for a family wanting to spend some days in the Austrian Alps, doing some biking, discovering the great nature of the Bregenzerwald...
The fact that we could not stay a bit longer... ;-) There really is no remark to find...

Reviewed Jul 24, 2023Decent studio, very well equiped, amazing rooftop swimmingpool, close to the hikingpaths. Very nice underground parkinggarage. Good services, nice personel.
Little privacy with the neighbors who walk over "your" terrace to put their sigaret out. Maybe add some screens at the side? Amazingly smoking at the shared terrace is still allowed (anno 2023!) at 1200meters altitude with otherwise perfectly clear air. Unluckily, with the window open every hour the smoke of my neighbor would enter my groundfloor studio. Also pretty annoying was the sound of an exhaust of the building (I was pretty close to), which only went quiet after 21h and only after that I could hear the birds and brook that is so nearby. I was glad I only booked for two nights.
