The location. The room and Bathroom were very clean. The services by the staff was excellent.

This homestay was in a beautiful location. Drive was lovely. Everything was neat and clean. Very spacious place. The staff was excellent. Vaishnavi the cook made very tasty fish thali which was excellent. It was a night halt for us as we were travelling from Mumbai to Goa. But would highly recommend it.

Everything! This was an actual homestay in its true sense. Right from the moment we entered till our departure, it was an amazing experience. If you get here, try and meet Gaurav (owner of this homestay), he makes you feel as if you have known him for a long time. He ensured the stay was awesome. The staff is worth mentioning, just too good. A special mention to the food, I would recommend it if you stay here, please don't experiment with food anywhere else, just have your meals here, they are yummy and unlimited. I had both veg and non veg Thalis and they were freshly prepared and lip smacking good. This place is quite remote so you probably may not get the connectivity (depends who is the network service provider) but I enjoyed this time as I was away from the phone. To sum up, I feel this is going to be my place to stay whenever I am back in Ratnagiri. Thanks Gaurav and thanks to the staff of Vishwas Homestay, you made our trip worthwhile.

Nothing to tell. All was fine. The promptness pin services is also noteworthy.

It is a wonderful property located within a small village surrounded by lush green vegetation. The facilities are very good and the owners have a vision to install a charger for electric vehicles. To top all of this is the very welcoming and the resourceful staff. Joshi's, the owners of the property take personal care of their guests and are constantly in touch.

Not to nitpick however an electric kettle with tea/coffee provisions would be helpful.

Great homely food as per your requests, hygiene maintained at par, friendly staff and the surrounding proves to be a great refreshment from daily chaotic life.

Breakfast served was excellent, traditional Maharashtra cuisine.

Staff is very polite and co-operative. Simple but tasty food Quiet location away from the crowds About 25 minutes drive from Ganpatipule and 15 minutes drive from Aare Waare. Advisable to have your own vehicle to avoid inconvenience in sightseeing

Excellent experience staying at Vishwas Homestay, it’s located in small village surrounding with beautiful nature, rooms are very clean and properly have many options to roam around and many things for kids to play, staff is very cooperative and friendly, and food was also delicious, Gaurav is very supportive and helpful person, it was like a home.

This is one of the excellent homestay near famous Ganpatipule temple and beaches in Ratnagiri to stay there, it is well maintained 3bhk independent private Villa with terrace made with Konkani traditional feeling and experience located in secure please, the homely traditional veg and non veg food options are at top notch. You can get EV charging point at the property. All the tourist places are also reachable in 30 minutes. There are mango trees inside the property which adds the natural beauty to the place. Safe place to stay with family. All the staff members are really polite with great support during the stay.

On our recent trip to Konkan, we stayed at Vishwas Homestay for two nights. It was a very peaceful and hassel free vacation. The atmosphere was very welcoming. The owners Mr. Gaurav and Mrs Minal went above and beyond in ensuring the same. They have created a wonderful tourist ecosystem with cooperation and respect of local small businesses. The rickshaw uncles Mr. Shivalkar kaka, Mr. Mane, the custodian/caretaker Mr Bashte(or Pashte?. Sorry if I misheard the names), the wonderful cook Ms. Riya, and also Ms. Vaishnavi- huge thanks to all these people for making us feel at home! Food: You get to experience the freshest locally grown produce cooked with good quality ingredients such as in a clean environment. Shivalkar kaka went fishing and we were lucky to enjoy freshly caught crabs and fish. Ms. Vaishnavi got the freshest leafy greens from her garden. Ms Riya cleaned and cooked everything just like a home made meal without unnecessary excess oil or food color. Location: the place is located in the hilly village of Kotawde. It was straight out of a maharashtrian story - with tiny red brick houses plastered with cowdung,, small farms, a cute children's primary school, mango, coconut trees, fussfree temples, home based cashew factories. If you are looking for a beach holiday, u can reach the beaches in 10/15 mins by rickshaw or car. I would strongly recommend using rickshaws and interacting with the people. It's a wonderful experience. Birds! : I don't own a professional camera, but we saw sooo many birds! Common kingfisher, oriental magpie, yellow sunbird, orioles, indian parakeet, and the highlight of it all - the gray hornbil ( not one,not two, but a whole bunch of 6!!!) Weather: we visited in December, so the weather was pleasant with dewy mornings. I loved my time here with my parents. A note to all the future visitors: its a homestay and not a hotel. We as tourists need to enjoy our time there likewise.

A very good place to stay. An experience in itself. Totally worth it

A perfect location to be at when you want to escape from chaos and busy schedule. Vishwas Home stay is located perfectly in the lap of nature with all the amenities required to continue your urban lifestyle, like Ample of car parking, EV charging, wi-fi, western toilet, shower, inverter backup, barbecue, indoor and outdoor games etc. it’s gated & walled property which gives you enough safety. Owner Mr. Gaurav, family & the staff made sure that we can taste the local cuisine, they suggested us and made sure that everything we asked for was ready. They accompanied us to show nearby spots themself which we found rare. Geographically the location is convenient as it is at the centre of Ganpatipule and Ratnagiri so you can save lot of time in travelling. Overall 5 star experience. We would visit again n again and highly recommend the Vishwas homestay!

It was extremely homely feeling while our stay here and Owner and his mother was really cooperative and understanding. Being homestay they cook delicious food for you. Property is surrounded by natural beauty and easily accessible. Surely recommend for long stay here! :-)

Absolutely stunning experience at the property. Spacious and comfy rooms, soothing surroundings and lot of vegetation all around. Property Owner was also very helpful to guide us on all near by site visits. Would love to revisit next time.
